"NewJeans is facing a storm of controversy after their public split from ADOR. Reports suggest that member Hanni, who requires an E-6 visa to stay in South Korea, has been accused of being an illegal immigrant. What does this mean for Hanni's future in the K-pop industry? Will ADOR's legal battles impact her visa status? Watch now for the full breakdown of this heated situation!"
Hanni's visa expired on December 13 and she has until December 28 to renew her visa or leave the Country. The complaint was filed on the basis that Hanni, having ideally terminated her contract at midnight on November 29, no longer has the right to remain in the Country. Ador has already announced that is extending Hanni's artist visa. Clear evidence that the girl is still under contract with Ador. Furthermore, Hanni can also travel back and forth as much as she wants, but without an E-6 visa she cannot work in the entertainment industry.
The probability that she will go to ador and say: I will take all the documents that you have already prepared in order to keep my visa valid WITH YOU is extremely low, because then they would have to admit that all five of them lied about the termination of the contract.
Ador is gracious for not being petty and making it so hanni has to leave the country until the legal battle is settled. Who ever advised New jeans are advising them are setting them up for failure and some hardship.
They cluld have settled this cleanly.
Kaj pa Min Heejin in dekleta, delajo oni čisto, prej umazano in javno in za to umazanijo ni bil še nihče kaznovan! Ne opravičujte sedaj dekleta, globoko so v težavah še posebej Hani!
Doesn't matter if ADOR does all the paperwork if Hanni won't cooperate and admit she is still employed by the company. but I wonder if SK would deport her while their is a legal case pending?
She will be deported and when the court says that the contract is still valid, then ador will send her a notice so that's they can start back the procedure, but if she still refuses then she stays in her home country to reapply by herself
@Everythingz127 but to get a work visa you still have to have a sponsor agency, and as Ador will not release her from her contract she cannot sign with another agency if she does to try to get back to Korea, then Ador can lodge a dispute with the Dept of immigration blocking the other visa application as she has an exclusive contract with Ador. It's another checkmate. All she can apply for is a tourist visa which you can not legally work on.
Not a kpop fan, but loving this drama 😂😂😂...
I tell you, new episodes every two days 😂😂
@@Everythingz127 its a circus overe there
Gurl stop lying. You’re a kpop fan lmfao
I mean she is classified as a illegal, if she doesnt find a new agency (I doubt she could find one unless newjeans make one herself.) But she is still under Ador legally, and not what they said illegally. Ador literally have a heart to extend her visa, because after the shit she done especially that foolish shit in the national assembly. So basically lets see because if the registration doesnt accept it (I doubt they would do that but they need an agreement from Hanni.) If hanni doesnt agree do it, they basically can't accept it. Hanni is legally allowed to accept it or not depending on sponsor it or not if she doesn't Ador can't have the visa renewal and Hanni at a possible chance would be deported and barred from entering south korea again.
She cannot sign with another sponsor that would be blocked as she has an exclusive contract with Ador and Ador will not release her, if she tries to do so Ador can apply to the Dept of immigration to have it blocked citing the exclusive contract. The Dept of immigration will uphold the block by Ador as Government Depts are bound to follow the law and legally binding contracts its another checkmate by Ador.
Well, you can only laugh at haters because they don't realize that with their hate and by watching videos of someone they hate they are only supporting those people even more and they don't seem to realize that.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Ignorance seems to be a strong suit with kpop netizens
@ that’s sad but true
Do you know who else follows the videos on idols, the different agencies, advertisers, and brand ambassadors, they do this as market research to view the public reactions to celebrities and the market research currently would be showing that the NJ members reputation is ruined, that they are viewed very negatively by the majority of worlds audience thereby making them an unattractive investment for not only other agencies but, advertisers and companies. So by the mass negative comments of netzines a career can be flushed down the toilet. 😂😂😂
This is making Hybe look bad. They need to cancel all of new jeans promotions and put them on hiatus for the rest of their contract. Teach them a lesson. These spoiled brats just cant cancel a contract cuz their feelings got hurt.
It’s not Hybe that manages them, it’s ADOR. Hybe is just the parent company.
Do you realize how much money NJs make for Ador with their branding deals? NJs are endorsers of Gucci, Dior, LV, Omega and Chanel.
@@bqantodo you realize how much $$ Ador /Hybe has invested in old pants so they can have top notch support and do what they can do. If it wasn’t for Ador/ Hybe there wouldn’t be ANY endorsements!
She's still under ADOR unfortunately...so they probably have to do her visa. She just go around lying like she didn't or claiming that ADOR is stalking her...or some new bs...you notice she's still doing shows ADOR set up and ect. Also I think South Korea doesn't have dual citizenship?
South Korea has dual citizenship only for women, due to military reasons men cannot have dual citizenship. Danielle has dual citizenship, as her father is Australian and her mother is Korean. Hanni is Vietnamese, her parents are both Vietnamese and she has dual citizenship of Vietnam and Australia, as she was born in Australia. To work in Korea as an idol she needs a specific visa for entertainment.
Deportation!!!!!
Ooh I really want to see her face if she complies to ador renewing her visa 😂 😂 all that smack for nothing
@@Everythingz127 New Jeans members who are not citizens of South Korea should have their work VISA suspended by immigration for lack of respect for South Korean laws, for lying, causing problems for the entertainment industry, embarrassing the National Assembly on the world wide web of TV. They must lose the right to work and stay in South KOREA and return to their own country.
I bet this girl will do something totally against the law and somehow escape this. Idk. This girls r doing wtever they want and funny how it’s still going there way. I was really expecting hybe to do something big. But they’re too nice.
I think hybe is just trying to get more and more evidence against them that they are the ones breaking contract...idk just guessing
@@BerBer-eq6qr I think so too, cuz Hybe has their album and already told them to come back so they can release it, Hybe pays them, Hybe gives them a house, Hybe is treating them perfectly fine, but they're cunning. They're letting these girls break the contract rules bit by bit and notice how they always announce it to new jeans when they do something against the contract ? They will not say that they were not warned
Politicians might back them up if things does not go well just like what happened in National Assembly
@AsianEntertainmentandCulture points out that Hanni could apply (and may already have applied) for a F-2 visa. In exchange for depositing a considerable sum to a national investment fund, she would be able to continue working in Korea. Ironically, because Ador paid her so well, she does not need to continue on an E-6 visa. Could this explain her bright smile transiting the airport?
With an F-2 visa, she cannot work in the entertainment industry.
@@bqanto I believe that restriction applies to US F-2 visa holders. Korean F-2 visa holders may engage in economic activity: www.immigration.go.kr/immigration_eng/1853/subview.do
I think if she invests in her own entertainment company she is eligible, and I can't find any restrictions related to the entertainment industry
@@bqanto The US F-2 visa doesn't allow work, but the Korean F-2 visa does, and I can't find anything online suggesting that it excludes the entertainment industry but I admit it is really confusing
@@jaybass3522 But do you know how long it takes to get an F-2 visa? Hanni's visa expired on December 13th and if he doesn't renew it he will have to leave the Country by December 28th.
Just had a quick read of the F2 visa... the minimum investment required is 500 million KRW or more (300 million KRW or more for a retiree investor over 55 years of age). In addition to the investment there is also a requirement to obtain & I will quote the website "You must obtain 80 out of 120 points to apply for an F-2 visa. The process may sound easy but accumulating enough points to pass can be a struggle." The criteria for calculating the points include age, academic career, Korean language ability (we know Hanni is lacking in this area already), knowledge of Korean culture and income etc.
Ador could appeal the F2-Visa due to the exclusive contract, and the Government by is statement via KMCA (they are apart of the Tourism & Entertainment Sector of the Government) have indicated they support upholding the exclusive legally binding contract that Hanni has, so it is most likely the F2 visa would be denied. Visa are not given automatically and are reviewed on external factors in addition to meeting the basic criteria required.
I wouldn't call visa sponsorship.....but a guarantee
The issue of visas, as simple as it seems, can be very complicated...
Each country has its own laws on visas, which are usually very strict... There are several different applications for visas, such as tourist, student, residence and work.
I often travel to another country where my child lives...but I can't stay with her for more than 3 months, I have to return to my country, if I exceed that period I can get an entry ban, I think it's from 6 months to a year days (if I haven't broken any other laws) That would fall under the tourist visa.
You get a student visa based on your enrollment at the university...but to submit such a visa, you must submit a certificate of enrollment.
Residence and work visas are the most complicated ... because with all documents, a guarantee from a person who guarantees you, provides you with a place of residence and guarantees you "employment" must be submitted.
In this case, many people are confused by what Ador said that he prepares the papers.... To clarify.... the person who is the visa applicant must sign all the papers, it is not the employer's (agency's) job, the employer's (agency's), only and on the basis of the signed contract, he gives (here it is called a letter of guarantee) to guarantee for you ..... If there is no contract, no one is obliged to guarantee, and without a visa you remain in the country at your own risk... and face with consequences
Sorry for my bad English

these 5 teenagers have been sabotaged and it’s really sad
Yes… so sad. That they sabotaged themselves by being used by MHJ. That’s why education is important kids! You get smarter!
Two of them are teenagers most of them are adults now are you high?
@@v1rtual-angel what is sad is, they chose their own path. Should have stayed away from the feud between Hybe and MHJ. They chose to do those reckless youtube live and press conference. They are sabotaged by MHJ and themselves.
So Hanni can’t perform or appear somewhere?
She’s still gonna perform at the upcoming shows for the rest of this month immigration office won’t move immediately during a lawsuit which gives her time to stall and reapply
Hanni posted a comment on her Instagram story basically joking about people talking about her visa so I’m assuming she already got a solution in motion to be so nonchalant about that like that
idk honestly, the way these girls are moving it seems like they don’t even know the consequences of their actions and they’re just trying to gain public sympathy to pressurise hybe/ador. if you think legally, she either has to go back to ador ir she’ll have to sign under a new company (which i don’t think is possible to happen in a short span of time). acc to me these girls are just acting like spoilt teenage brats who have zero idea about what exactly is going on. they’re just trusting and believing everything mhj is telling them blindly and their legal advisers are also thinking the only way to get out of this situation is to make public think they’ve got it all (when they actually haven’t) and pressurise ador with public’s opinion
Hanni has money so her Visa won’t be a problem all she has to do is invest she’s rich she most likely already applied because you have to in 15 days after you claim termination as a foreigner immigration office won’t move immediately because it’s a lawsuit giving her plenty of time til early next year she’s lucky to be a rich girl Ador gave her a payout of $3.5M USD
1. If your visa has expired you have to leave, it's not like if the ministry takes three months you can stay three months in Korea without a visa. 2. To work in the entertainment industry you need an E-6 visa that can only be requested by a label.
@@bqantoI’m just saying don’t be surprised if nothing happens immediately the way immigration office handle lawsuits like this she’s still gonna be performing in the 4 upcoming shows this month and the gda Jan 4
@@leaked9192 Of course, because the visa will be renewed by December 28th by Ador.
@@bqantoif she lets Ador renew her visa and continues her same stance kinda shameless though right?

New Jeans are fighting their battle publicly instead of legally, so that leaves them open for public discussions.
I actually think this is what they were hoping for. The public discussion of their situation, regardless if the public thinks they're genius or foolish.
I love k pop music...but, dislike the netizens who thinks they know everything....
Is it possible to ask these know it all to keep their opinions to themselves?
If I disagree with a group, it's not my place to judge them...I just move to a group I like & be happy & appreciate their music instead of feeding to the negativity
J pop fans are much better with their acceptance of the diversities of all the artists🫶
@@purpleskiesforever ofc people can express their opinion about newjeans but calling them brat, ungrateful, liars and praising hybe and ador actually shows the double standard that these people have
