I wrote "Garbage Man" in 1964 and it has been recorded by Muddy Waters, Rory Gallagher and around a dozen others including the original in 1964 by the Uptowners and my newer version from 1972 by The Hammond Brothers and Maggie. But they weren't thieves like this guy and his brother Buddy. I lost respect for them.
I saw him back in the '80s in a little club in Michigan. Had a table about 10 feet from him. What a treat!
