Coola'?! Mr. Ben is showing his funny side again, like when he did all those augmented characters in the Virtual Tour Pro course, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Invaluable knowledge lies within.
I'm really surprised you haven't picked CloudPano. I love all of the features! Music, Live Video Chat capability, lead capture... and they seem to be upgrading the software at an astounding rate. Does Kuula really have the same spectrum of features? Maybe to ask a question, What software do you think is the most comparable to CloudPano?
Keep up the great videos, and hope all is well for you.

@@electronrecycler1072 I wanted to try Metareal, because I heard it was like the 3-D Vista or matter port without all of the fees, like Ben said. I've used Roundme for several years for my own listings, but I haven't used it since before COVID-19. I ried to log in today, but their website's security certificate is expired. Maybe the site is no longer active, but I'm not going to worry about it. I found Kuula searching for an alternative. From what I saw in this video, Kuula works in a very similar manner to Roundme so I should have no problem making the switch. Kuula's price is about double what I was paying for Roundme, but it's still extremely affordable and has quite a few very cool features that Roundme does not have, like pitch limitations. I always had to spend time covering my tripod with a mirror ball I created in Pano2. Can't wait to try Kuula on my new listing. Thanks for the great quick start tutorial!

Another timely find on the Ben Claremont channel! I have a project coming up shooting a B&B where Matterport hosting would be too costly. Your tutorial here covered all the features and reasons that Kuula would be the IDEAL platform for small, individual tours to post on each room's detail page. Using 3-4 shots of each room with the invisible hot spots to move around, plus the ability to limit pitch and zoom (so the screen won't jump around for people who aren't as handy with a mouse), these are all points you mentioned that caught my attention. Thank you for another very helpful resource. This is evergreen content at its best!

Thanks for the excellent video, Ben. I'm also using Kuula as a Pro Member. There is just one thing bothering me.. Kuula does host the virtual tours I made for clients, but when I decide to quit Kuula in, let's say, one year, my client won't be able to see and/or use my virtual tour. I also cannot save this tour and host it anywhere else. This is something I noticed when I already was a Kuula customer. What is your vision on this?

    • @bartekdrozdz8194
      @bartekdrozdz8194 3 года назад +2

Some clients prefer to manage the tours on their own. What Kuula offers in this case is to transfer the tours from your account to an account that your client sets up on their own. So the workflow is: you build the tour on your account and when it's ready (or when you no longer want to have an active subscription) it can be transferred to an account created and manage by the client. The nice thing is that all the links or embeds of the tour will continue working without interruption after the transfer.

So does that mean the tours are hosted on Kuula so as long as you pay the monthly fee? Gothru has an option to pay as you go. $25 for hosting per tour for a year. that price seems reasonable. but in the case for Kuula, do i pay $16 for 12 months? in comparison with gothru, thats a huge difference.

    • @alexgoriatchenkov

      @@martishans Pro will cost $ 20 monthly or $ 16 in month, IF you pay for entire year ($16 x 12 = $192).

Ben. Your videos are always well done, thorough, and informative. I am investing into this field more and more. The Insta360 One RS 1" camera is the foundation of my 360 work. However, not every client wants full 360 views. They want to limit the FOV to 180-degrees. Additionally, for the highest end image quality, the Canon VR lens provides immaculate images for 190 FOV. I need a platform which can limit not only the up-and-down movement, but the horizontal views as well. I am leaning toward Theasys and Kuula. Do you have any suggestions, or, could you add information about horizontal FOV controls within the various VR applications. Thanks so much - keep it little!

What I would like to do is have "transitions that make you feel like you are actually walking (not teleporting) to each hotspot in a VR Tour, by placing small Video clips in between as a "transition graphic" I feel it would help make actual viewing VR Tours more realistic. Thanks for any help.

Hi Ben. Can you use a flat pic (non VR) pic in the tool. Let's say the open shot for a location is jpg of the building with first link being the front door. Is that possible

I have been using Cupix ever since you did the review on your channel and I am very happy with it. One of the features I like the most is to insert a floor plan (very often created with "floor planner"). With the floor plan I am very facilitated in positioning the 360 photos correctly in the virtual tour and I offer the possibility to see where I am in the house. Is it possible to insert a floor plan also in koola?
Another question: is there a tool that allows you to download a virtual tour on your PC? how can you keep it on your own hard drive?

Glad to hear you still like Cupix. Yes you can upload existing floor plans to Kuula, and no you can’t download with it.

@@BenClaremont yes I still use Cupix but it doesn't means that it's the best: simply I'm used to and my workflow is quite fast. I would (and will) try something else. Cons of Cupix: the doll-house NEVER comes up correctly (but... well... I'm not really interested in it for real...) and, what really piss me off, is the price /plan. If you want a bit more, pay. Want another feature? pay again. Another little thing? Pay pay pay. All those things FOR A MONTH. I'd prefer to pay FOR SINGLE PROJECT all the stuffs I want, then pay again only if I need it. I can't wait to watch your future comparison videos, hope you will include also Cupix.

this seems perfect, but what if you do one of these every 6 months and want to keep your virtual tour locally or embed it on your website, when unsubcribed. Which is best none software then?

Thank you for all your hard work making these videos!!!
In short. I have a client that wants his face in a virtual tour (not blurred out) like in google maps and tour to be hosted on his own server.I use panoskin but its not a option.
What is the cheapest why for me to get it done?
Best case scenario would be a once off option not monthly fee. Like build tour download it and then upload to his server. Thanks again!

Hey- I will try to cover this in a future video. Some platforms make this easy (like 3DVista) and some don’t. I’d just google whichever software you want to do it with and see if it’s an option
