When this amazing soft-mod was originally released, I was very excited to install it but it wasn’t until your video came out that I got the confidence to do so. I am very much a Noob when it comes to these mods and in general, always think I’m gonna jack up the cabinet somehow but due to the clear instructions on the Readme by Mysdirection and this video, I pulled it off without a hitch! So much fun to play my old Dreamcast games HOTD2 and Confidential Mission that I hadn’t played since college and I owe it to you both. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Why am i having so much trouble just flashing the sd card. The balena etcher program will no flash the no fate file at all no matter how many times i unzip it. Ive been trying for 3 hours :-(
@@jordancheryba8849 okay that sounds right, maybe try a new Utility. Rufus is a Good one, Raspberry Pi has one too. Regardless, I think you need to change the app you're using. Sounds like the break in the process is there.

@@TechicallyTNT I got time to try it this weekend and it is still bricked. Ive tried installing the image in 2 different SD cards but It never gets past the Team Encoder logo. I left it on all night Saturday hoping maybe it just takes awhile, but Sunday morning it was still on the logo. If I take the SD card out it just gets stuck on the “loading…” screen. I do appreciate your help though, even if it didn’t work! I’m not even mad, I’m just bummed I can’t get it to work. Probably gonna see if I can get a replacement PCB from A1UP and not mess with it anymore!
May I ask where you're getting the image from? If you're not using the newest image from MysDirections Patrion it will not work. I hate that you're having issues. I feel like this is something small....

By the way, I got everything working on the Simpsons cab mod except for two things- first, on four player games, sometimes the controls seem to stop working (the computer kind of takes over players 3 and 4 randomly). Also, none of the box art loads for any of the games. It did at one point and now it won’t, no matter how many times I tell it to. Any experience with those issues?
@jimfusco I'm assuming you followed may latest Simpsons Video. If so, become a Dev, and point all the folders in DIG and RetroArch to the external storage devices. Personally, I try and install on the USB drive, and I store images and roms on the SD card.

Roll Back is already out, BUT you have to be a Patrion to get access to it. I've also heard that a new update should be released very soon. 1.0.1a is what is shown in this video, the guns on the stock game of this version are still not working. I'm hoping in the next update that will be fixed.

Good question, it's not bad, BUT still has issues. The Stock Game is Broken, some of the games are a little slow, and a few need more configuration that hasn't been done. The Gent that is building it will been updating it soon. And if you want there is an option to roll back the update. Video for the roll back is on the Channel.

Yeah wouldn’t attempt it but this makes me hopeful that they’ll work on a similar mod for the TC Can because all of those games would make more sense with the TC guns.

@@jordancheryba8849 what's the file format of the image you downloaded? It sounds like you have a bad source image. Look for a cleaner copy 👀 maybe?

Seemed to install ok, only difference I found was that my cross hairs for my light guns disappear when I play a game...
Did you download the mod from the Achive or are you a Patrion? For this video I used version 1.0.1a. You may have been using 1.0.1
Looks like a great mod
Very easy to do, lots of fun games, and this is still basically a Beta build. MysDirection knocked it out of the park.
Do these roms save high scores?
I'm not sure, BUT I believe that is on a per rom basis.. I think....
I will say, tread carefully with this mod. I did it to mine and it totally bricked it.

Having a very hard time getting any ROMs to work. I select them in the SAM and then nothing happens. Idl what im doing wrong

I could not get Area 51 to work. Just goes to black screen when you click on it from the menu.
Hit the live button once, Wait for it to exit back into the menu, Then reenter the game.

If they have 2 players Yes.
How do I adjust the volume on the games?
That is a Known Bug that MysDirection is working on. He speaks a little about it in his Patrion.

That can be found in the Readme file of Mysdirections Download, and I think there is a copy on Discord, and maybe patrion.
