I like the sylphy because of many reasons one it's comfortable two it looks nice at the back three has a lot of speed I would probably go for the Sylphy
The only legit concern with Sylphy may be possible overheating of the transmission. An after market transmission cooler levels the play-field to make it worth the investment. Suspensions and other issues are secondary and not worth the 500k price difference
Wokabi amekataa kutumia reason kabisaa , when it comes to parts of the nissan sylphy hakuna uniqueness you will find them in any shop , kitu kama shocks its a shared part across most vehicles, 2. I am inthe nissan sylphy group na hakuna b17 imetolewa gearbox because of manufacturing issues.. the one i know he drove with a busted sump. 3. The b17 cvt has 0 manufacturer issues and defects 4. I bought my b17 at 1,150 , at the moment the cheapest 2014 sylphy is 990k. At jiji . The cheapest premio being 1.3m, premio has lost 400 to 300k in 2yrs sylphy has lost 160k in 2 years . Value for money 5. If i was to sell my Sylphy today at 1m i will need 500k /600k more for a 2016 one , the one selling 1.3m will need 1m more for a 2016 one.
Toyota followers is like a cult but in real sense, sylphy offers a better value for money and holds much better on the road compared to the premio. Premio has been overrated and overpriced for no good reason
lakini premio ni realible but terrible in handling you drive a sulphy at past 120 it gets better you drive a premio past 120 its feels horrible, toyota feels like gari ya cargo the suspension last coz they are stiff hence no comfort ,
Tuambiane ukweli price tag ya premio imeingia category ya Atenza, Nissan Skyline na Mark X even some mid size SUVs could easily be found on this category. I also think you massaged the price tag of the Sylphy it's a bit cheaper, value for money is where the premio lose despite being better.
There is a AWD SYLPHY, its very powerfull and got all leather interior and slightly with more extras than the 2 cars above...there is also a 1600, 1800cc engine in the AWD
I feel you're a bit unfair on the Premio... That's the "F" variant, whose engine size is 1.5L while that sylphy is 1.8L. You'd have gotten Premio "X" which is 1.8L. So the 0-100 test is null and void... 😢
Great job, man. Can we get a review on vans that can replace pickups/vans za kazi space za nyuma itatusaidia sana kama watu wa biashara.Thank you. Great work you are doing.
Wokabi as usual is biased in favor of a Toyota. Just pushes the idea most people in Kenya have that Toyota is the only brand to go. But in general it's a very informative review.
The topic about resale value is never factual when the buying price is overrated. If Wokabi sold his Premio for 1.3m one year later, then for a similar loos in value for the Nissan should go for 700k, which is 1m depreciation. I think it is easier to sell that Nissan at 700k than a Premio at 1.3m!
Resale value is determined by three factors. 1.Recouping your cash on a higher percentage. 2.Demand for the entity that why Toyota rules. 3.maintance cost for the entity
@Afrikan254 And all that is covered in the exaggerated price. And mark you, a driver stands a better chance to survive in a sylphy during an accident, than in a premio.
I think the mistake people do with the thermostat is adding water instead of coolant and this in mpst cases has been causing most thermostats to get spoilt thus over heating but if a person used fully coolant i doubt u would have the overheating issue
I have never used coolant for over six years - same car, only water & no overheating or failed cooling system. I do not like coolants, mostly they block the radiator fins.
I think todays review wasnt a side to side review but rather a 'political' . Everyone defending what they like instead of comparing features from both cars
You know you could not wait for year 2023 June for you to own a premio. You just buy the one trending n that will not stop you from buying a 2016 one. I own 2012 ,I will buy 2020 one
Eric we love the premio but realistically it also has its share of problems from the air cleaner,in that if u used a wrong quality it will sound as though its leaking air, then fuel wise clogged filters inthe tanls cause it to have a rough idling
I will always champion for a sylphy. As long as you know how to manoeuvre with it, it is the best car ever. I have had a 2007 sylphy bluebird for 4 years now and I can say, premio is no match for it.
The problems I have had with my 2ZR-FAE of 2011 is the alternator ceasing and failed steering rack(caused me an accident). Never deleted my thermostat!
The car is superior to premio if you factor in cost. 600k difference is huge for very few advantages of premio. The CVT lasts if you don't drive it like a rally car. Even manufacturer's warranty is 120km or 10yrs.
i have a toyota my good friend bought a sulphy been a year and he has not experienced major issue honestly. yes bushes and links are a bit problematic but soft bushes makes the car easy to handle and helps in comfort but breaks down easily , toyota bushes are stiff and hard last long but very terrible when driving
Wokabi is comparing these two machine and is hellbent not to lose. Wokabi please it’s not a competition between you and Ibrahim Toloi. Wokabi please you don’t own these machines production. Just be objective and let us make a sober decision

Carniversation the best car review channel. And Carnisa has become an episode we can't afford to miss... Well done guys. But next time let it not be a preference argument competition but a fact giving review where listeners can make well informed choices.. Erick with a ck, trying hard to justify his opinion wasn't so good.
Wokabi shifting goal posts,in a previous review you said the price difference was to big to pick the premio...in that previous one you chose the slphy over the premio
I am new and I don't know any of them but in terms of unbiased opinions the white shirt guys is far better than the other guy, the fat guy is too fixed on his idea that when he says something like the part where the interior is 50/50. Based from his facial expression he believes otherwise even though the white shirt guys does make reasonable points. Also on the rear the white guy makes another good point, it's contingency it's always nice to have a backup if the system encounters a problem.
You guys ought to refine your knowledge in matters CVT since your sentiments have been misleading. I've personally had Nissan sylphy, teana, fuga and xtrail and I've never encountered your choreographed mythical theories in regards to this.
True. I have had my fair share around Nissans and I have never encountered these problems associated with CVT. March, Xtrail, Teana, and Juke GT4. People just need to learn to service the box CORRECTLY before the trouble begins.

RELIABILITY Premio will beat sylphy 10-0.....toyota anyday.

On this episode, even if Mr Toloi came with Jose Carmago himself, there was no way he could have won with his B17. Awesome content guys!

I like the way your review is so professional and ideological focused. Keep it up
Am i the only one who feels like Ibrahim doesn't prepare enough for the car he will be reviewing? He gives the bare minimum. Otherwise, good stuff!
I totaly agree. Maybe we give him time

That comparison was epic! The price difference doesn't do the Premio any justice. I would take the Sylphy and save the 300k too.
The review was epic congratulations guys for always informing and updating us,
My vote goes to Toyota
team premio but with 2.3 I think I can get better cars to buy
better is relative
There is a AWD SYLPHY, its very powerfull and got all leather interior and slightly with more extras than the 2 cars above...there is also a 1600, 1800cc engine in the AWD
Great episode...premio wins this hands down..
waooh fantastic review i like this sasa hii ndo inaweza

I feel you're a bit unfair on the Premio... That's the "F" variant, whose engine size is 1.5L while that sylphy is 1.8L. You'd have gotten Premio "X" which is 1.8L. So the 0-100 test is null and void... 😢

Nissan are always a bit quicker than their toyota counterparts,,,facts😂😂🔥🔥

Nice comparison... but I would have loved to see Premio vs Accord
Mr. Wokabi, No hard feelings but your co-host needs to present his car exhaustively just like you are.
Wokabi ni CEO, Ibra ni Manager... 😂
One of the secrets is kutoa thermostat as soon as your car lands since our climate is mostly warm. This will save you a lot from over heating.
@@benardkigen7723 but summers are extreamly hot than kenyan weather and these vehicles dont overheat there .

I bet premio X grade should be faster than the F grade
I knew nissan kwa speed 🔥🔥Premio and Honda Accord am still waiting
Kwa 0 _100 hamko fair nissan ni 1800cc na premio ni 1500cc
would consider doing an episode for best sleepers for build here in kenya.
For me,I would say gari ni TOYOTA.But I would prefer the 2016 face-lift model.Even though it was discontinued which is unfortunate.

That is ones negligence. It's not car's problem
Very comprehensive review.Big up to the Canversation team
Wokabi as always is biased. Leans to what he loves and will discredit the other even if it's better than his.
I didn't know that the rear seats of the Premio can fold down...! Peace of mind is very important and very rare!

It's a common problem it happened to me past Emali
Bought premio 1800CC 2ZR in 2021, apart from regular service, being to the mechanics on one occasion,1. spark plugs issue. Ni kukaa ngumu tu..
Is 1800cc 2ZR OPTIONAL 4WD OR it's 2WD ?
Ibra was looking for every means of getting points off the premio

Hi Carnversation. Kindly bring a review of Subaru Forester or an outback. It's long since you did a Subaru family series.
