    They can be turned into touchscreen gloves quite easily too, by sewing or embroidering conductive thread into the fingertips. Just make sure the patch of thread is large enough that you can hit the screen without needing a very specific holding angle

    Did you cut the pattern on the bias? Does knit have a bias? I only sew with cotton so sorry for the dumb question...

    • @FarrellFocus
      @FarrellFocus  3 года назад +1

      No, I cut it on the grain so the I would have lots of stretch for the fingers. You could try the bias on a trial pair if you like. I did several experiments before I found the way I wanted them. Have fun with it!! 😊😊😊

    Im a little confused. You add a 1/8 to the pattern, but thats for fit not for a "seam allowance" right? Since you cut the seam allowance later? Just a litte confused please help.

    I did my first attempt at making the gloves! Using a stretchy white fleece but they turned out way too small! Can't even get them over my wrist! I see I didn't make the fingers long enough or the wrist area wide enough and the fleece is thick too. Could you put a link to your facebook group? I find your photography page and one that is "Farrell Focus" but I don't see posts from others showing pictures, etc. It looks more like a private page! I wanted to show you a picture! Marilyn
