My Dermatologist said that oiling may help to improve texture of your hair but it doesn't do anything to reduce hair fall. Have no idea what is true. Also, all women must check B12 (should be above 500) and Ferratin levels (should be above 100). It is very important to push them above the range to get benefits. I took supplements to improve the levels and this helped me a lot.

For conditioning one can squeeze half or full lemon juice in a mug of water and put it on hair before drying the hair with towel... don't wash with water after putting the juice...your hair will shine like anything...

I used onion juice once and my hair smelled bad even after shampooing. So much so even my pillows were smelling bad
