This Amiibo plays like I would expect REAL Bowser to fight. Extremely tough, walks slowly for intimidation, taunts his opponents and relies on punching quite a bit. He probably got pissed that you tried to only teach him gimmicks, so he started just doing his own thing.
Why does this sound like they got a cursed "Bowser's inside story" preloaded Bowser Amiibo... They should have him play items with trophies and pokeballs to test.
When I tried Bowser I just kept losing with him, and now I see this. Maybe I was trying too hard.

@@uberspider1362 actually not true, the way the chain goes for the increased powers in ultimate is: regular, amiibo, spirits. this is because amiibo while strong don't get nearly as strong when feeding them as players do with spirits. theres at least(if i remember correctly) a 2k point gap and thats if the amiibo has 1 of the 2 stats maxed but thats the thing. if a amiibo has a maxed attack stat then the other stat is super low so ideally you want it even. thats where the issue comes in. cause a good spirit team for regular players makes their attack stat or defense(which ever you prefer) around 5-6k. so heres an example, my kirby amiibo has around 3400 attack which won't go any higher unless i want to give up the rest of my defense, one of my spirit teams and a very good one at that has 5736 attack and 4789 defence, both numbers significantly higher then the amiibo and this isn't even counting all the broken spirit team combinations there are.

But the raid boss amiibos are probably my least favorite content, with how much it almost seems like Alpharad believes his steroid infused Bowser is legitimately skilled while doing 30% damage in a single hit. And then plays like the Shulk near the end did so well only to get screwed by a bad read.

I mean, I know they said this Bowser Amiibo tends to underperform...
But I think he is one of my favorite Amiibos to see playing!
I mean, Hard Dk likes to perform 200% combos and execute unrelenting pressure, and that is cool, but this Bowser amiibo is just so different! He walks slowly from time to time, spaces perfectly around grabs, goes very deep for his edgeguards, angles his forward tilts amazingly, is very varied with his choices of approaching, taunts after killing his opponents and some of those "Just Charge Forward Smash" moments just look like the hardest reads.
While Hard DK feels like an invincible algorithm, Bowser feels like a very, very good human player instead. Not as powerful, but just as fun to watch.
The funniest part is in the competitive amiibo scene Bowser was banned because of how over powered he is. The fact that this Bowser is the worst of your amiibo cracks me up

The scariest part of this Amiibo is the fact that there is no way of knowing when it is actually going to attack.
I'll be honest, I can never tell if Alpharad's being serious when he plays/commentates, or if he's just being a giant troll all the time, or if the two somehow blended together.
