Hi again! Are you on the facebook group? Search on the road adventure riders group and share the photo with us! You can also tag us on instagram if thats more your thing On_theroadadventure
I don’t know about you, but I felt sadness when pressing the “Go home” moment on the navigation system. Amazing trip, great entertainment, so many adventures. Can’t wait for your next long trip!❤
It’s a bittersweet moment, our problem is as soon as we get home we are plotting to go somewhere else
Enjoyed the series. Thanks for taking the time to put up the videos from on the road. Well done!
Your very welcome, we really love to do it and share it with you all
What a series guys, can’t wait to see more of your videos ❤
Won’t be long!
It’s always good to be home even after an enjoyable trip
As soon as we get home, we find ourselves planning to get away again, we live to ride our bikes and see whats around us no matter where we can go
Thank you both its been brilliant watching all your antics 😊 roll on next time
Thanks Debbie we wont keep you waiting long...
Top tip on the cabin and alarms. Wouldn’t have thought of that. Thanks
We dont know if all the cabins are the same but ear plugs are a must for the crossing.
All good things come to an end. Then it's time to plan for the next adventure for your fans. Great stuff both.😊👍🏍
Can't wait! see you in the next one
I've watched every one of your videos on your trip. They were awesome. Loved every one. Keep posting, stay safe and stay happy. Your site is wonderful. Ade

Well done, you pair, i enjoyed the series, gutted to think it's over.
Get home now, reset, sort the bikes and plan the next adventure! (Oh, and wedding plans at some point i guess😉😁) 👍
Yes must not forget the wedding plans along the way somewhere!
What an eventful trip! Thanks for the effort required to do all the filming, editing etc. I enjoyed 'tagging' along with you both on your adventure.......Cheers (Good food closer to home - the Cumberland Sausage bap with red onion marmalade served from the van at Otterton Mill CP - just a thought : )
Now that sounds like food We need to find!!
So lucky to be so young and to have had a month doing this. Been with you all the way thankyou
You know you wont believe how often we meet people who say to us we wish we did it when we were younger and we have listened to this advice... Although we have no idea what we will do when we are old and have no savings or pension, but the reality is our whole generation will be in the same boat, no one our age makes enough money to have a mortgage or save for the future anyhow! in our usual fashion.... "it'll be al'right"!
You cant relive youth. Stuff worrying about the future. Live in the moment is my advice at 66. Saved, had mortgages, family and a pension. Wife left now got zilch
66 is no time to stop having new adventures bud, get out there.... Wishing you well mate
Enjoyed watching the series guys, you both did a fantastic job entertaining and informative at the same time.... Thank you!
Awesome, thank you! Glad to have you with us
really liked your travels, honest captivation and the real travellin times and experiences....
great and looking forward to your next destinations
thanks for sharing !
Thanks so much Ron, with the support we are gathering we will try to continue to bring you all videos as best we can 👌
A brilliant series Rich and Ewa, and so glad Rich mamanged one warm night 😆. Thank you for sharing your adventure!
One out of 30 not bad eh!
Well done guys. Pleased to see you back safe and sound. Regarding getting to your bike and waiting to disembark the following day I bear in mind a couple of issues. Firstly, we are invariably chased from our cabins about half an hour before docking so they can clean prior to turnaround. Second, I curse the thoughtless bikers who wait far too long to go down, leaving people behind helpless and unable to move their bikes well after bikes have started disembarking!
Oh yes I agree if you wait long enough that people are waiting on you then you’ve taken it well to far!
Next trip need to be Morocco. Its a beautiful country. Lovely people stunning scenery. If you fly into Agadir we can highly recommend Atlantic moto. We have used them twice. Just make sure you don't go in Ramadan ❤
Do they hire bikes? any idea what the cost of hire is?
Hey guys yeah it was me on the GSA, it went over last year, funny how it was the ONLY bike to go over….. But yes, BF were very good, immediately paid for the screen, and also gave me a £200 BF voucher to use,AND, it was Helen my missus on the other AT, we were just returning from an amazing trip to Morocco… great vid again guys!!!
Hi guys, you cant ask any more than that of BF to be fair, we found the ferry to be a great, stress free service and we will be doing it again. see you soon
@@ontheroadadventure I can give you a 10% off code for your next BF ferry trip as I’m a club voyage member, PM me sometime I’ll fire it across to ya😎👍
Thanks bud, we will message when we need it next time 👍
Thank you guys. We loved travelling with you. ❤
You are amazing, thanks for being with us the whole way
@ontheroadadventure Awwww it was a joy 😊
Hi .I've really enjoyed watching your series of the trip. Thanks for sharing. 🎉🎉
Great to have you with us
Bloody brilliant series well done guys was well entertained
Thanks John, much appreciated.
Great trip guys, the Bay of Biscay can be a right nightmare. I know having fed the fish and I’m a good sailor. They usually kick you out of the cabin to clean for the next guests so I usually wait in a lounge area but not on the steps.
Oh I see that makes sense, those guys on the ferry must work hard to keep turning that boat around so quickly
Hello!
You should come to Sweden and Norway. You wont regret it❤
Its on our to do list!
I'll deff Stick with ya. 😊 take care.
Thanks Andy, See you soon!
great series loved the videos good job . Now time to pick the date ❤
Yes we need to make a plan for that!
Me and the wife love watching your vids keep them coming ....we are amazed at the time you seem to have together and being able to get away .... what do you both do as work ? If you don't mind me asking. Since my friend has now subscribed he has now bought an African Twin and loves it. We do enjoy a good viewing 😊 .Kevin & Claire
Hi guys, thanks so much. RUclips has turned into what we do for work it seems! Its all got a bit out of hand, but we love it so much. We are both self employed so we do our work when not working on the youtube channel
great series loved it thank you both
Our pleasure! We can’t thank you all enough for being with us
Thoroughly enjoyed this series, sad it is over now but roll on the next one! Many thanks for sharing 🤩
All good things must come to an end.... Check out the playlists on the channel and im sure youll find another trip you havent yet seen
Look forward to the next adventure👍. That posh restaurant isn’t all that posh, our last trip to Santander there was a big punch up in the posh restaurant, flying chairs and all sorts. One of our group who wasn’t involved ended up getting a punch anyway.
Food worth fighting for!
Great trip and great footage . You 2 are great to watch , honest biking and good crack , ive watched the lot
French ,swiss , and austrian alps next . see ya there in august
We did the alps just before we started youtube, We will be going back for sure to make some videos theres, AMazing place, we did the usual stelvio and other passes but we have not seen the dolomites yet
Enjoyed following your travels! Glad to have you back safely.
Cheers bud, as soon as we are back we can’t stop thinking about where to go next and how to make it happen!
You must visit tge south on England... Cornwall and yes there are Castles where you can stay
We have one or two videos in Cornwall but we will go back and do more soon for sure
you must do more Adventures , This was a fantastic series, fully entertaining with all your mishaps, bad jokes and experiences. ❤💯
Cant Waite for the next Adventure.
Thanks bud, we will be on the next one as soon as possible 💪
Well done both, a brilliant series of videos. The problem is, what am I going to do for entertainment of an evening now it's all over - may have to talk to the wife instead 😮😮😮. Not sure what your plans are for future videos but it would be really interesting to hear you sum up what you learnt from your experience on the road. The good, the bad and the ugly. Once again, well done both a brilliant series of videos.
Thanks so much Andy, yes go talk to the wife for a bit and we will be back on your screen sooner than you think...
Loved your trip guys thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic trip. Thank you for taking me with you.
I love your videos so much. You are a great couple and I enjoy all you do. Would love to meet you both. But not sure what area or county you live in. I'm Hertfordshire.
Thanks again. Look fwd to your next road trip. 😊
We are down in Devon bud, I’m sure we will meet at a show or event one day. Until then stick with us on the screen 👍👍
Loved it , Gonna meet up one day with me Africa Twin, im in Saltash, Brilliant traveling with you xx,
Only a matter of time, it’s bridge bike night tomorrow in Exeter if you want to come and say hello
Great episode! Booked a night in wales this weekend. Squeezing in a night with my pop up tent! Looking forward to your next trip guys 👍👍👍👍
Do those pop up tents work? which have you got?
@@ontheroadadventure works really well. Mines a Reactive Outdoor but loads of brands on Amazon. It’s not compact though, have to attach it length ways on the back seat because the poles are fixed in place, but it fits on well on top of the travel bag I have.
Cool, alwayys been a fan of the work smart not hard approach
Belting series there folks, I enjoyed every episode, already looking forward to your next trip
Thanks mat, See you Soon! Check out the playlists for previous tours to keep you busy
❤thanks for letting us share your fabulous holiday guys always a pleasure seeing u both really enjoyed all yr videos glad yr both back safe 🤗🤗x x thanks again Les 👍
Our pleasure! We are proud to have you with us
Thanks for bringing us on this journey with you, it’s been epic, and I’m as disappointed as you guys for it being over, have thoroughly enjoyed this series, so please hurry up and get back out there, the connection between the pair of you is a joy, bouncing off each other, and don’t change a thing…except maybe with your sleeping bag the right way out😂,.
Thanks so much, glad you have enjoyed the series.
You’ll be pleased to know we have been busy and will be back on your screen tonight at 6pm 👍👍
Great Series, thanks guys.
A day late in watching as I've just returned from a little camping trip myself.
Your question about boil in the bag foods. I've used the Army rations before (may have mentioned that) but on this trip I used Wayfarer.
Just as good, but the downside is taking enough to cover your trip
If you guys are going on longer trips like this, the weight of all the food will be too much.
You've done it right in buying food as you go.
Looking forward to your next trip.
Thx
G
Thanks bud, we are thinking to try some rations and just carry a few for nights when we are stuck to find food
Rich, it's awesome that you managed to stay toasty! Honestly, I had no idea there were two sides to a sleeping bag - one to keep the warmth in and one not. Goes to show, you learn something new every day from others’ adventures!
Seeing that truck parked on the ferry was a real "whoa" moment! I couldn't help but think, "Just how massive is this ferry that it can fit a whole truck and container?" It must've felt like you were traveling on the Titanic. Next time, you should definitely take Ewa to the front of the ferry and recreate that iconic "I'm flying" moment from the movie. I tried it once on a much smaller boat trip, and the feeling is unbeatable - a must-do for sure!
After all the adventures, a good rest back home must've been well-deserved. I can’t imagine sleeping on a ferry with it rocking back and forth. Not that I would know firsthand - never been on one myself, but I can only imagine how it must feel.
As this chapter of your life wraps up, leaving Spain and its cinematic charm, there’s a tinge of sadness. I bet you two were exhausted, but for us viewers, it’s bittersweet. There's that sense of an end, but also excitement for the new adventures and stories you’ll share next. It’s funny how we get attached to your journey, experiencing each moment through your lens.
Keep doing what you’re doing - your videos are a blend of personal touch and genuine interaction with us, your followers. I’ve still got a lot of your content to catch up on, but each one is a treat. Your replies and likes show just how much you value our comments, and it means a lot. Here's to more adventures and more great content! Cheers! 🌟🚐💫
Thank you so much! Yes this ferry is massive!! It’s a wonder it floats with so much on board.
We love chatting with you all in the comments and feel like our RUclips circle of friends is growing by the day, we feel lucky to share this with you all
Its been great series to follow on your travel, can't wait for your next adventure.
Thanks so much, see you soon!
I've been a self- employed General Contractor here in Florida since 2004 ( Residential Building Contractor ) I retired the company in 2018 ( into the inactive state ) Up to a few months ago I worked, as a federal inspector for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency)
Self employed is defo the way to go if you can.
Unfortunately, a lot of people are afraid to take that step. Starting my construction business for me was like trying to jump out of an airplane without a parachute. That’s how frightened I was.
Yeah it’s always a roll of the dice, I think that if you don’t build your own dreams someone else will get you building theirs
Terrific guys….very entertaining and looking forward to the next one.
My recommendation for the future expedition would be Greek 🇬🇷 island hopping. Probably need to hire there ?
That sounds like a winter fly and hire trip
On the upside you are coming back to the UK at the right time, weather is on the turn for the better :)
Yes looks like summer is finally happening!!
Enjoyable series, looking forward to the next escapade!
Thanks max, Who knows what will be next...
Brilliant series. Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for joining us 👍
This series was fantastic I enjoyed every minute thanks for taking us along you both did a great filming job and it was full of laughs, thanks again and please keep on going
Glad you enjoyed it, see you in the next one 👍👍
Thoroughly enjoyed watching your whole adventure kept it honest kept it true that’s what it’s about. Can’t wait for the next adventure what’s next .
Thank you Ray, much appreciated
Many thanks both.enjoyed the months hols was great footage.back in blighty.look forward to the nxt stay safe.👍🏍
Glad you enjoyed it, see you soon
Thanks for a fantastic video series. Great daily life experiences whilst on tour, a laid back atitidue and both of you have fantastic amenable natures. Real stars in the making. Looking forward to your next adventure
Thanks so much bud, we love to make the videos for everyone to enjoy and hopefully inspire people to get out and ride too
Next trip....Nordkapp.....you use to be able to free camp in Sweden and Norway.... and the campsites usually have little sheds with camp beds in (if you cant be arsed to put up a tent). Go for the Midnight Sun next year but take an eyemask as the lack of darkness sent me a little weird. Now I use emojis to excess☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️🤪
It feels like everyone is going to the nordkapp at the moment, perhaps we are missing some thing and should go
Thanks for a brilliant series both. Now for planning the next trip; if you’re going south take account of the temperatures as I sure you appreciate. Maybe consider an Eastern European tour, mostly reasonably priced and a bit ‘different’.
In the meantime I guess you have to get back to work for a bit…what is it that you do?
Eastern Europe could be on the cards, as you say, warm and cheap is what we need
I've enjoyed our holiday thank you,
It does feel like we have all been in it together... We loved doing this and chatting to everyone here
Tour came to an end. Really enjoyed the Spain Portugal series. Hopefully another one before too long. Well done on the vlogs. Very entertaining
Thanks chalky, we seem to have started something now so we better keep going and keep you all entertained 👍
This has been a great series - thanks for sharing guys - given me something to look forward to enjoying during a coffee break from work. Looking forward to the next adventure!
Our pleasure! Thanks so much for joining us and interacting, see you in the next one bud
Glad you are home safe. Excellent series and full of laughs. Looking forward to the next adventure. Ride safe always.
Thanks so much, we will be back on the road very soon!
Great trip, thanks for taking us along. It's true what you were saying about meeting and chatting with other people on campsites. In Scotland a couple of years ago, I was joined by a small group of 'lads' in their 60's who had all been riding together for donkey's years... they had some tales. And just a couple of weeks ago in Wales a guy rolled into the campsite where I was staying on a Suzuki very similar to mine, he came straight over to say hello and later we had a right old natter. It is a great aspect of moto camping.
This has been a real highlight for me, we love to speak to other travellers, They are all so interesting and we all like to do it in different ways
Thanks Eva and Rich.Ive got the holiday blues and I haven't even left GB, fantastic videos.
We know the feeling... The best solution is to go ride some more...
Great series guys, great effort, great entertainment,I’m currently on the banks of the river seven in my caddy.all the best to the both of you.👏🏴✊KTF.
Amazing, Theres something about the simplicity and calmness of camping its like it just provides you with time
Absolutely loved this adventure will miss you both. Can’t wait for your next adventure 😊
It won’t be long we promise!
Really enjoyed your videos thank you 😀😀😀
To answer your question about camping food - I regularly take Wayfarer food pouches camping. I often take one on tour staying in hotels too. Means I have a meal if restaurants are closed or I just don’t feel like going out to eat. I’m vegetarian and the Wayfarer veg curry is delicious. Very filling and I do like my food 😀
They do seem to be a good solution but often these meals are just as expensive as going out!
@@ontheroadadventure yes they aren’t cheap. I try and get them when they are on offer.
Is there a good place to buy them then?
@@ontheroadadventure I generally get mine in GoOutdoors
Our Local Go outdoors seems to have a constant sale on at the min so we will go drop in there and see
8:13 peppers dehydrated food ration packs arn't bad apart from the coffee ,maybe have a look at them ,there army rations 👋🤠👍
The British army rations look ideal for travel… we may have to try some
Enjoyed ever minute of it ,not been to well for the last 6 weeks so your travels have kept me going ,off to Wales next Friday looking forward to it , its long over due.
Sorry to hear you have not been well, glad we can give you a chuckle to cheer you up. Wales is one of our favourite places to ride when the weather is good, have a great time bud, sounds like its just what you need.
Thanks so much guys. It was great from start to finish. I am 99.9% certain you will be out on your next escapade within the next few months.
Im not sure we can wait that long! See you soon....
superb videos thankyou look forward to your next road trip
Glad you enjoyed it
Watched all your latest videos, the good the bad and the ugly, but you both made it interesting and down to earth, thanks again for some excellent adventures, and hope to see you two back soon.
Cheers John, see you soon...
Transylvania, Romania could be very interesting !
We have our eye on Romania…
Hi Rich and Eva.
Thanks so much for sharing your holiday with us, it's been a blast to follow your highs and lows. Definitely more highs though thankfully. As I've said before, it's not sad it's at an end as you're both closer to your next adventure.
Thanks for sharing and see you both soon.
Maybe north Africa could be your next destination!?! It'd definitely be cool just to get there 😀 😉
Sounds like an excuse to do portugal again! we loved it there
Great trip that loved it start to finish thanks Rich and Ewa 🍻🫡Ride Safe👍👍
You very welcome, Thanks for being with us on the road
I’ve absolutely loved these daily updates. First time I’ve caught such a thing ‘live’. We have been inspired to buy an old Versys 1000 with full touring set up. 9 day tour of Scotland as our debut trip - if it goes well, Italy next year
Cheers guys
Thats amazing, you bought a fantastic machine for it! Are you going to do the NC500? its an amazing journey
@@ontheroadadventure As we are based in Bristol, the NC500 is a bit far. Dales, Lakes, Inverness, Isle of Ismore, and back to Brizzle
@@jonmulholland4336 ahhh go on, you can do it!
I can't recall if you said you've been there before but Sicily is a truly incredible island, plus of course the ride there and back. Alternatively the Arctic Circle, or maybe a detailed tour of France as most people bypass the place....
And of course Cassington this coming Monday....

Yep, its over what am I (or we all) going to watch now? We; three on bikes did a similar trip during Covid times but only to the Pyrenees out via Calais and back on the same ferry from Santander. Congratulations by the way and looking forward to your next adventure.
We will have to go back for the Pyrenees in better weather, it was still snow on the ground when we were planning to go there
See you on the next one 👍 been brilliant Rich & Ewa 👍
Cheers bud, see you soon
All done and dusted you two. Enjoyed that thankyou. Glad your both ok after the tree incident. Chuff me that could av been disastrous. They should never let trees grow that tall by campsites. Hope they cut them down on what happened there. Till next time. 👍👍👍
I guess the trees falling down is something no one can predict, we just happy to have dodged that one and can ride another day. Thanks for enjoying the videos, see you in the next one
Thanks
Wow thank you so much Michael, your support to us and the channel is amazing! we literally cannot do this without our channel supporters and members, you guys keep the wheels turning and videos coming. Thank you!
Well at least I don't have to buy you gas or coffee for a while:) I've said where you should go if you like the sun and twisty roads.CALIFORNIA
We would love to go to California or anywhere in America or Canada Etc but the costs involved are massive and once you go all that way you want to make it worth while and stay a month or two. We sure hope to be able to do it in the future though. We looked at the costs of shipping our bikes and motorcycle hire and its eye watering and thats just the beginning
@@ontheroadadventure I think if you do it you gotta think of renting bikes.Shipping i think would be cost prohibitive.Anyway I'm looking forward to buying you more coffee :)
Thanks so much for your support, If you would like to you can become a channel member and get Early access to videos and other benefits here : ruclips.net/channel/UCMbs_SNzCb4gogCKvxBE6mQjoin
Enjoyed every minute big shout out to you both excellent 👌do you mind if I ask you both what you do for a living if you don't want to answer it's not a problem
Thanks so much Alan, We are both self employed so holiday cover isnt a problem, but of course when we not at work we make no pennies either. We try to work every hour available through winter so as to afford to do trips like this but if we are honest the reason we went to camping is just because it makes travelling so much more viable. We could ever have done a tour like this in hotels, its gotten so costly now
Cool would love to do this but they ride on the other side lol 😂
Yes can get confusing some days lol We get it wrong all the time!
Good videos, I'll never understand why passengers on an aircraft get up as soon as the plane stops after 50 years travelling. You can't go anywhere if the door is closed 😅
Always amuses me too
Love being taken with you on your adventures! What’s next?
Who knows... Any suggestions
Black forest Germany Belgium France middle of July that's going to be a blast......!! That's your next trip ?
Hi We did almost exactly this 2 years ago in July we did the alps, stelvio etc too. This was before we started the Channel, perhaps we will go back and do this sometime for the channel
If you're looking for a great month of touring, look no further than Austria and Germany. I lived in Germany for 6 years, and the South and Bavaria into Austria is sublime.
Bavaria is on our list to do, we did the black forest area which was great on our way to the alps, we havent done dolomites yet though
@ontheroadadventure take a look at the castle route in southern Germany, its awesome.
Ok cheers we will look it up
same route next year but with a few of us let's do it😂🎉🎉🎉
That would be great, except we would stay in portugal, just come back up the coast road. We will defo be going back to Portugal
Well I for one would be up for that.
Like I said I did France, Spain & Portugal last year over 21days . I'm hoping to do the N2 this September
N2 is really good as you saw, take your time and have lots of stops, soak it all in from a nice coffee shop 3 times daily!
All good things finish eventually. Just fuels the fires to do more.
Great trip to follow, laughed my socks off.
Next trip? Greece with a bit of island hopping.. Fly ride.
If that appeals just say yes in the comments and I'll email you a few details.
It's a great destination.
Trust me...
Ride safe 👍
We will save fly and hire for the uk winter time trips
@@ontheroadadventure excellent plan 👏
You guys need to load Google translate on your phones. There's a camera function that allows you to hold your phone up to any label or food name and translate it to English.
Yeah we use it to talk but didn’t know about this feature
Android now has a live translate on phone calls, too. It's really cool
Wow thats cool. We use apple at the moment but im sure they will follow soon
You certainly don't want to bring freeze dried food on a motorcycle trip. It's better to make your own meals at home, dry them and vacuum pack them. Just bring a few packs for "emergencies". You get the best food making it just like you did on this trip: Buy some good stuff locally and make fresh food.
We think we will try taking some rations on the next tour and see how they work out, Its just so time consuming sourcing and making food, then cleaning etc, some days a boil in the bag will be great
Here in the USA, getting somewhere takes a lot of time, Like the state I live in. From Key West Florida to the Alabama Boarder. is 907 miles, the Mexican Boarder is 1800 miles, Canadian Boarder, is 1800 miles to the north, it will take 2.5 days just to cross Texas, at 65 mph. (it's 855 miles across), So, yes, I would love to tour on your side of the pond. ( it will take 8 days to cross the entire USA from coast to coast)@ 65 mph. also here, most people only get 1 weeks vacation a year, if your with a company more then 6 years you get 2 weeks, (But not back to back)
So I believe, in the UK , as standard, we get 28 days a year, the company I work for also gives you a day off for yr birthday, extra, also some companies give a extra day for every year you work for them, to a max of 6 I think, which is nice. Its hard to imagine having only 2 weeks a year, Kinda sucks a little.
Wow, mate that is madness.... One week a year for yourself... This is why we are self employed, the work life balance is so important, we are here for a good time not a long time...
Suddenly the uk feels just a tiny bit better of a place to live eh!
I knew about the sleeping bag thing from the start and was wondering how long it would take for you to work it out.😊😊
You having me on!! 🤣🤣
@@ontheroadadventurewell when the weather is warmer you can just turn it over again.😊😊
