Kaido also has future sight. He used it one time against luffy where he told him “you don’t think you’re the only one who can see the future”.
A bunch of them has advanced observation haki which is the future sight. Usopp has an advanced one in Film Red used with his Dad so he might also have it now or a glimpse of what he's gonna have in the future. Katakuri can see 5 seconds into the future. Luffy can see into longer than that. Shanks as we know can see 10 seconds easy. His crew too I'm sure since their specialty is mastering haki.
On Shanks vs Kaido:
Kaido himself said that "Haki is everything"
So far we know Shanks has better observation haki, being able to see at least 10 seconds into the future if not more.
Shanks also has better conqueror's haki, being able to stunlock Greenbull from miles away and seemingly speak to him as well, and also is stated to have "Observation Killing" conqueror's Haki, that allows him to use conqueror's to stop other people from using future sight. None of which Kaido ever demonstrates.
Kaido is also lacking in armament haki, as he isn't able to make his club permanently infused with haki like Mihawk can with Yoru, and he isn't able to use advanced armament and conqueror's simultaneously like Luffy can in G5.

I feel like Kaido and Big Mom are Tank Builds, hard to even scratch and are able to take stupid amounts of damage even after that, while Shanks is a Hard hitting Evasion Build, never getting hit at all.
Shanks probably can only take a few hits before he goes down, but it is near impossible to hit him.

About Shanks scar, when he gave the hat to luffy he already had his scars. Personnally, I don't think we can judge his power level by fights he had back then because he lost an arm to a fish at that time man xD It's not a serious argument but you see my point here ^^
Shanks had a 1 billion bounty at the time of giving luffy the hat, I think it was pretty clear that him giving up his arm was symbolic and meant to encourage luffy, especially since luffy one shot that same sea beast fresh off the island

I don't watch One piece, but I can understand why Shank can potentially beat Kaido. The reason why I think that is: Kaido's attacks already landed on them but they still managed to tank some of them. Here Shanks only did ONE attack that ended them and we don't even know how much of his real strength he put in that attack. Against Kaido they litteraly did a "English or Spanish.. The first to move is g4y" 😂 Compared to Shanks, I don't think someone would play to see if he can tank Shanks attack

1. Kaido has future sight, he used it against luff during their fight. He is proficient in it as well.
2. Shanks is stronger than Kaido. A weaker character beat Kaido (luffy) so idk how ya'll think kaido would win that fight knowing this.
3. Shanks would one shot everyone Kaido fought if he was there. Bro literally made greenbull reconsider fighting with just a Haki burst from miles away, there's no way ya'll think shanks wouldn't do them dirty. he also stopped kaido going to the marine ford war as well.
4. G5th luffy is losing to shanks. He'd run out of stamina before the fight would end, but even if we gave luffy infinite stamina, his haki still isn't strong enough to compete with shanks. luffy had trouble with an admiral, let's cut it out.

He can nullify Observation haki + he is way too fast + have super advanced observation haki. His 3 types of haki is far better than Kaido bruh

I think if shanks was on that rooftop he would have killed all of them, I don’t see any of them having shanks haki lvl, that entire fight kaido wasn’t going all out at first. I think shanks would start off like Kidd being serious and he would have violated everyone on that rooftop, even with luffy it took a long time for him to catch up to kaido lvl.
Killer and Kidd have survived multiple Kaido's attacks. While shanks one shot them both. Two divine departures and the whole rooftop would be over. One for Kidd killer. Another for Luffy Zoro

At the very least yeah, he showcased a longer Future Sight than Katakuri, Luffy and Kaido. It reminded me of Katakuri "bragging" about his in Film Red and then Shanks was like "Yeah yeah that's good lil guy but you're not the only one who knows their way about Observation Haki".
In the booklet 4 billion distributed into cinemas during the movie's release, Oda wrote that he's known as the "Killer of Observation Haki". It's stated that he can cuts one's breath and doesn't let his opponent see the future. It must be tied to his Conqueror because to use Observation you need to be calm, like his presence is so overwhelming that you can't remain stable at all in front of him

5:50 Kaido is stronger than Shanks. It has often been said that he is the strongest creature. Moreover, he fought against an entire army on his own, and they had a hard time defeating him. Only Gear 5 Luffy was able to defeat him. And Gear 5 Luffy is the strongest character in One Piece. He has all types of Haki at a very high level, and on top of that, he can do anything he imagines. Meanwhile, Kid can't even use basic Haki well. Even though Luffy has very good armament Haki, future sight, and good Conqueror's Haki, he was one-shotted by Kaido. And that is much more impressive than one-shotting Kid. The only thing Kid can do is use his devil fruit. That's it.

Lmao she tanked it though. Kid hit her and she ate it. It took another hit alongside Law quieting her so she couldn’t call her homies for Big Mom to fall and even then she wasn’t even unconscious. She was even shit talking them saying the attack wasn’t enough for her to die.
Its strong but its not that strong i comparison if a weakened Big Mom could take on two and still be fine.
Also Shanks could be stronger than Kaido in terms of AP. Shanks isn’t an ogre like Kaido nor a weird human like Big Mom. I think every Yonko has one or more stats higher than another Yonkou. Shanks probably has the best attack power due to being the best Haki user out of all of them but he definitely doesn’t have the same level of durability or variety of abilities since Kaido is a DF eater.
