How much water do my seeds need? Yes, seeds normally needs to be watered at least once per day to keep the soil moist, not permitting it to dry out. In especially warm climates( or depending on your soil or garden set up ), you may need to water more than once per day!.. How much water do sunflower plants need? Don't allow the soil to day out completely in the 20 days before and after.. Flowering, if you are growing sunflower for seed.. Water concerns.🌻🌻😯😕😧😆

Noth of Houston Texas first time sunflower farmer. My seeds are planted in one-gallon containers for now and have sprouted and doing well. They have full sun. The container are in a big wagon so I can move them for shelter under a carport if we have severe weather. Also, I am older and do not get on my hands and knees. So I invent my rolling garden. We have planted several kinds of sunflowers including the Mammoth size. I have used several different containers for starting the plants ( Tide detergent pod container put holes in the bottom and large Folger coffee cans and put a cord for a handle. also gallon size bleach bottles and gallon size milk jugs. And few flower pots. For a while, some of these will hang on the fence some sit on the ground and on outside tables and in the wagon. and hang on the outsideof wagon and other large tubs. We will not have a whole field of sunflowers although we do have enough room for field. I am limited in how much work I can do. We will be doing good to have 10 to 15 sunflowers growing. Wish me luck I enjoyed and leared a lot from you video. Ann Bench

Bonjour from Montreal, Quebec (Canada). Thanks a bunch for your helpful tips on sunflower growing. First time planting sunflowers... always loved looking at a field of them! Have a group of 8 Sunspot variety started from seeds... so far they're all doing good. Will be transplanted to balcony planter boxes... 2 per box in a few weeks. Can't wait to see them fill up with the bright yellow flowers. Thanks for sharing your videos!
You're very welcome ! I'm glad you enjoyed the "How to grow sunflowers | Sunflower growing tips" video 👍 I'm wishing you all the best with your sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻
Greetings from Pensacola Florida- I started growing Sunflower circles and it’s a lot of fun especially with the Mongolians , Skyscrapers, and Mammoth that average around 10-12 Ft high. Thing about it is the circle seems to have magical things happen like at least 8 flowers grew perfect heart shapes in the center of the flower and it’s so beautiful. I have been posting them on Next Door app and everyone is just freaking out over the sunflowers with a heart. I’ve never seen anything like it - I’d send you photos if you would like to see them. But I love your sunflower field and your channel as well. I just discovered it . 🌻🐝🌞🥰
Oh my goodness . This sounds incredible! Pleaseeee post the pictures of them in our Kelly Lehmans flower tribe Facebook group . I need to see these 👏👏 Here is a link . ▶️ facebook.com/groups/173080477731043/
@@KellyLehman Kelly- is there any other way I can send them? I don’t have Facebook and I don’t have a computer. All I use is my iPhone to take the photos and have them in my photo albums on my phone . Would it be possible that I maybe send them to my friend Susan and let her send it to your Facebook? She has come to my house to see these sunflowers with a heart with her own 2 eyes and has seen my sunflower circles this summer and fall. I grew one circle in spring and then when it died back I planted another one to see the sunflowers for the fall and I had 2 really nice sunflowers with hearts. 🥰🌻🌞🐝 or I could get a guy named Don that has been following my sunflower hearts from the very beginning and he is fascinated with it and said he’s never ever seen anything like it and he’s a photographer and said he’s photographed endless flowers and sunflowers and never saw this occurrence.
Hi I cut the bottoms out of my flower pots and set them on the ground, that way the taproot can just keep growing into the dirt where all the good microbes are. The size of your beautiful pot really doesn't matter because the bottoms will be out. I also do this with tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and dill, just about anything. I plant them around my porch where my bird feeders hang and my nectar for the Hummers. The sunflowers are just a bonus. I LOVE sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻❣️ 0h... Zennias tooooo, Actually my favorite❣️❣️❣️!!! God bless all here Jude, from Kentucky ✝️🐴 🇺🇸⚒️🇺🇸
Hello. I planted mammoth sunflower seeds last year (my first time to garden) and they grew really tall, 8'-10'. Never added any fertilizer nor plant foods. I mixed garden soil from Lowes with native soil (clayish) in the garden. I remember watering them almost daily and every other day when they were 3-4' high. As I said initially, they tower over our property wall which is 6' high but now, the same mammoth seed are barely making it to 4' high. I planted this year's seeds at the same spot as last year's! Same is true with my zinnias. They were at least 4' high last year but barely making it to 2' high. Last year I sowed the sunflower seeds last week of February and Zinnia ist week of March. This year, I sowed sunflower and zinnia seeds on the last week of March. I watered them daily until 2-4" high and watered every other day. What have I done wrong this year? Was last year's a beginner's luck? I would greatly appreciate it if you can find time to give me some insights and advice. I thank you so much ! I tremendously enjoy your very informative and inspiring videos!

Kelly- is there any other way I can send them?
I’m so glad I found you! I love sunflowers 🌻! I tuned in from Maryland.
Hi Mary 👋👋 I'm so glad you found my garden channel 🌸🌸🌸

Hi
I cut the bottoms out of my flower pots and set them on the ground, that way the taproot can just keep growing into the dirt where all the good microbes are.
I LOVE sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻❣️
0h... Zennias tooooo, Actually my favorite❣️❣️❣️!!!
God bless all here

Your comment just made my day . Thank you flower friend 👍🌻😊
