Great video! I’m a firefighter getting ready to relocate to Az. Have been fly fishing most of my life and was thinking there wouldn’t be that much opportunity for it there. Hope to see ya on the water out there soon.
Great video. I’ve been fly fishing in AZ for 20 years now. I can recommend a beetle with red flashing for summer dry fly fishing. Thanks for not giving up the other gems in the state.
Thanks for the information and renewing my interest in pursuing fly fishing in AZ!
Really informative! Arizona is a beautiful state to visit and fish !
It really is!
Great video with lots of information.
I grew up with river property on the lower end of the oak creek, beautiful video man. Would love to hit the creek with you sometime
Thanks, will try those areas.
Really informative! Definitely gonna check out your other content, probably gonna camp near the areas and have fresh fish!
Have fun!
Excellent information!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice fishing uncle❤❤❤❤❤
Any recommendations on dries (other than adams vatiants) and nymphs for tonto and/or sedona in mid june? Waltz and hare ears have worked well but no luck on dries or anything else as of late
Cool video! Thanks. I checked-out the Salt river last week and the water level was pretty low. I've seen it much higher. Perhaps there deeper pools?
Thanks for the info!
Loved your video! Is there a marina on one of your lakes where I could park a pontoon for months at a time? TIA
cant park a boat on any lakes for a month. you cant really part it more than a day
Great guide ! Is Sedona still good in summer ?
Yes it is…..
Great video, but I am really glad you didn't get into the really great spots in Arizona. Keep exploring the entire state, you'll find em.
On the bigger lakes but they are warm water. I don’t think there is a place to moor a boat on any of our trout lakes….. maybe big lake
This is a joke, right? lol You must have never fished a real trout stream. Guys dont let this guy trick you into wasting your time with Arizona. I live here and I go out of state to fish.
As someone who's fished the high Sierras and the Rockies, I do agree that these streams here are meh for size and fight. However, AZ is a great place to fly fish if you're looking for something simple and fun. You'll pull 8-10in browns in the Salt River easy enough in the fall. I'd venture to say he missed a great spot called Lee's Ferry right on the Colorado River. Go get em 🎣
