I agree with you. Just one little comment: It's '50s and '60s music, NOT the way you wrote it. Apostrophes are NEVER used in plurals (except when pluralising certain units used in the sciences what would otherwise be confused with other units, for example, m for meters when pluralised would become ms, but ms is already taken and it means milliseconds, so to avoid confusion and apostrophe is inserted, thus making the plural for meters m's). The apostrophe is used only in two situations, normally: to signal that something has been omitted (as in '50s, where it replaces the missing 19), and to imply ownership (as in: my brother's car is blue).
One of my father's favourites, and then mine. My dad was born in 1923 and has never died. I dream of a better world every evening and every morning. With him. Al Martino!
Hello from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪. My father is 86 he sings this song every single Sunday since 1981. He plays his oldies and it’s going to be played till the day I die.
Great Song! My dad was a professional musician who played for Al Martino and it was a pleasure as a young man to accompany my father during rehearsals and live concerts. It was and will always be memorable.
Amazing he's got a full orchestra with a conductor backing him up and the main focus is on him and his talent, not a bunch of acrobats jumping around him with all kinds of light shows going on in the background. A singer's talent was the main focus of a performance in these days, not all the electronic gimmickry we see today.
He had a lot of competition. I mean, there were 4 or 5 Italians ahead of him -Sinatra, Dino, Bennett, Como. Not to mention a slew of non-Paisans. Tons of talent in the 40s, 50s, and 60s.

Those were the good old days when people dressed on sundays more formally. Now they go even in a theater in blue jeans.Somehow a loss. AS KIDS WE DIDN'T REALLY LIKE IT BECAUSE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO SPARE OUR GOOD CLOATHES FROM GETTING DIRTY.
This is the 2nd time I’ve listen to Al Martino by chance scanning the RUclips.... beautiful voice. .
My husband sang this to me on our wedding day ❤️
I heard this recently on Benidorm and it brought back memories of my youth in the 60's. Such a lovely song ❤
Nicely Done!!! Thanks for sharing,Very enjoyable!!! Dec. 17 , 2020.

Blue Spanish eyes
Teardrops are falling from your Spanish eyes
Please, please don't cry
This is just adios and not goodbye
Soon I'll return
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say, "Sí, sí"
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me
Blue Spanish eyes
Prettiest eyes in all of Mexico
True Spanish eyes
Please smile for me once more before I go
Soon I will return
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say, "Sí, sí"
Say you and your Spanish eyes will wait for me

I am sorry for all who are not on the old side they don’t know good voices and good music. I am 94 and have been blessed to listen to wonderful music and voices that sang not screamed for years. Thank Goodness for technology that I can still listen to good music not what they call music today. I must say Andrew Lloyd Weber has also given us nice music plus a few others so thanks to those.
