imagine paying 40k+ for a 800lb bike that puts out a little over 100HP..
Every video I see of this bike always has somebody complaining about the price of the bike. The thing is sick. Do you want to go 200mph on a touring bike? I don’t get the logic of you people. It’s a 2 wheeled Cadillac. It’s basically a luxury motorcycle. Anyone that wants lightweight and horsepower is going to buy a a sport bike.
If you want a faster bike look for a naked, you’re at the wrong adress son
Now this is a CVO I can really get behind. It’s definitely leaps and bounds more of an upgrade to the standard model and earns the badge and price tag. Out of my price range but I can appreciate everything Harley has put into this. They’ve been criticized in the past for “same bikes just different colours” but this is actually them progressing the model and making advancements

Nice bike except the short front fender. When it rains all that water will run up on the motor and will be a mess to clean up.

@@ehiggins7476 Exactly, it doesn’t make sense at all. I like the bike don’t take me wrong but 43k is too much. Even a Yamaha scooter nowadays has TFT display. Just look the Xmax scooter, and it cost 6k.

If you wanna have that discussion then yes I do agree it should come with heated grips but you have to understand the price point would be higher and then you would be complaining that the bike is too expensive. I don’t have anything bad to say about the motorcycle. They did a fantastic job.
I have a 2011 RG, highly modified, with built 124R, Baker trans, carbon fiber wheels, brakes, race tech suspension, etc. It’s nice to see Harley finally build a bagger from the factory to compete with my bike.
ST is nice, but that sticker is crazy. They threw CVO on it just to charge more. FOH

43 k way to much !! You can get a lot more bike all the way around for 30k !!!

I traded in my pristine 2018 CVO Ltd on a 2024 CVO ST. The factory demo ride sold itself! It's so nimble and responsive. The horn looks like it was just bolted on with no engineering. Brembo calibers could have had the lettering powder coated. Had a heal shifter installed prior to delivery. Other than that, no complaints. I ordered a TAB performance black chrome exhaust and an extended Bad Boyz two up seat with a back rest. Wait time on both 7 to 10 weeks. If you're on the fence, go ahead and purchase it. You won't be disappointed!!

Another home run John! Two questions for you my brother. On the CVO ST are the factory grips heated? Also with that unique crash bar how would one put highway pegs on that bike? Are you supposed to put your feet directly on the crash bar or would you need some type of extender?

At that high level and price point, I think the heated grips should be included. I thought I heard you say they weren't, which is disappointing. I hope they come out with the same concept in a 2 up TRUE touring bike that still has the high output 121.

Not necessarily, getting a lot of bang for your buck
100 % black one.. it like the ‘bat mobile’ with the black and red.. gorgeous bike all over.. above my personal budget limit but if it works for somebody else, go for it. It’s a hot rod bike and it’s not for everybody, imo.. it just seems if you want go for short rides or the track (how often is that) and blip the throttle over and over 33:17 then it’s for you. IMO. Its not me unless I could afford 2 bikes.

This bike looks nice, John, but it's too heavy and pricey for me. What intrigued me in the reveal, was the Nightster Special. 465 lbs with that Rev.975 liquid cooled 91HP motor, wow. Nice power to weight ratio, and closer to affordable for me. Add some forward controls, new bars, and a windscreen and that puppy will be a nice cruiser.🥰 Now if it only had DCT😜. Love your channel, Ride safe.👍🏾

Great video. Love all your videos anyway. I am trading in my 2023 CVO Street Glide for the ST. At first, I was a bit hesitant going to a Road Glide. I test rode the CVO Road Glide to see what it was like which I found those bars are way too high. I was happy to hear you say the bars are perfect on the ST. I'd like to know your opinion on the exhaust sound. I prefer to keep the pipes stock because of the looks and originality. Also, there is not much power difference between the VVT and ST on paper anyway. So I find it amazing that there seems an incredible difference in performance. Cheers, George

I can't believe Harley Davidson missed an opportunity to use a telescoping windshield on the Cvo models.. I would love to hear this bike with 2 to 1 exhaust with a Basanni or Tab performance setup.. And the intake getting in the way. Needs to go away.. The narrow shaped intake on Street glide Cvo St seems like a better fit for leg clearance and highway pegs
The air intake does not get in the way, it’s a new design
@CYCLEFANATIX I have the mushroom shaped aftermarket cold air intake. When I use my highway pegs. The only way I can actually avoid resting on the intake completely. Is keeping my foot on the edge of my floor boards. Thankfully being shorter. I can share my foot on the floor boards and foot pegs. I noticed the Street glide Cvo ST has something similar to Kyle Wyman intake on the 2024 HD release post. Before I watched this video

Hi John, thx for this great video. It confirmed my decision to order a Roadglide CVO ST here in germany,what i did one day after the presentation of the new Models. Actually i Ride a Street Glide ST with Mapping, Jakyll and Hide and Öhlin shocks. Hoping my new baby is even more sporty and snappy ! There will only be 50 CVO STˋs in Europe, so im glad to get one of these from my HD dealer. It´s a great fun to Watch your Videos … couse u ride Harleys like me…FAST!!!…so keep going…best greets from northern Germany

Bike is nice considering its stock but it’s missing a lot for a cvo model. No passenger seat or foot rest, foot rest is smaller than the standard foot rest, front fender is too short in the rear and going to be an issue with that oil cooler and road debris, no speakers in the bags, the sound system isn’t as good, they put the reservoirs where the mounting brackets should be and showa makes garbage products should’ve been ohlins
They can’t give you everything and still keep the price point at 43,000
Did you ask them why they didn’t go with the 135 motor?
They will never put a 135 on a bike from the factory I dunno why people keep asking this. They're never gonna put the 131 on a bike from the factory, whether it says CVO or ST or any other nomenclature. Those two displacements are crate motors specifically for racing and would need to be cut back in order to pass EPA standards and then people would bitch piss and moan about it not being top gear from factory.
@@BlinkingKillswitch They aren’t race only. Maybe in Cali only. Harley seems to be uncertain what they’re trying to do with motors. The 135 doesn’t have any of the new heads, throttle bodies or manifolds. Harley is all over the place right now.
@@ejdtm Regardless, they are still crate motors. HD will never put them in a bike, CVO or CVO ST doesn't matter from the factory. Anyone thinking HD will ever put them in a factory bike hasn't been paying attention to how HD operates. Regardless, those motors are literally only dick measuring accessories. You're gonna pay $8k for a stock motor and STILL have to buy a cam, larger throttle body, adjustable push rods etc. etc. Because even IF the 135 and 131 come with SE internals, they are still EPA compliant, which is why you don't get the same performance from SE parts as you do from S&S and Woods and such. So you end up with 13k to 15k invested in a motor that isn't all that reliable compared to their other motorss and STILL GET GAPPED BY A 650cc LITER BIKE.
I kind like the black but I haven’t seen one in person so who knows my dealership has one coming in this week in white so I’ll be able to judge it better when I see it but great video always look forward to viewing them
I watched your behind the scenes video first lol.. I think I’m changing my mind on the color.. that white looks sharp! I think the eagle should’ve been in red not grey.. the grey makes it look like an afterthought 🤙🏼

The performance/handling stuff, I'm all in! I love grabbing a fist full of throttle on the twisties and I get frustrated that even with 13' Legends, stage 2 with cam, high flow intake and tuner, I can't corner like I want or I am grinding the living hell out of floorboards/exhaust. I love every bit of the performance stuff with the CVO RG ST. Looks are another matter though. I just don't dig the barfy skirts hanging down from the fairing, or the ginormous Ford F-250 tail lights... like at all. I'm torn, I want one for the handling/performance but seriously don't dig a couple of the styling ques.

So, I watched this review and thought, I should go look at that bike, even though I have a beautiful 2020 Road Glide with a lot of work done. The local HD Dealer had a black one so I was able to check it out. Sat on it, and I couldn’t believe how light it was to pick up. MY new white one is scheduled to arrive in early March. Damn you John, lol.
The perfect motorcycle. I reluctantly traded in my 2016 Road Glide Ultra , my Daily Driver, and replaced it with this monster. Oh man, what a machine!!!
