Wow. LL2 were incredible. My stomach was in knots the entire show. The thing that killed me was that silent scene through the glass where Lucky told Elizabeth. What a powerful and emotional moment. JJ & Becky broke me down in tears right then. My heart was aching for them.
all55husbands it sure did I loved Liz and lucky and Jason here the acting was on point and when Jason came out to tell them that jake did not make was omg i cried no one should go through this at all
There is about two minutes where no one really talks, just music and those are probably the best scenes and the most heart breaking. Everyone's acting was spot on. In their silence so much was said that it brought tears to my eyes. Very powerful and emotional scenes.
I loved how from after jason says he's gone he & lucky don't speak just the tears running down their faces as each man bio dad & dad don't need to speak or scream just tears so powerful each just touch the other than perfectly don't Liz & lucky behind the glass no words again we know he's told her the hugging then collapsing to the floor. When gh gets a movement they completely slay & just kill it. The mid to late 90 were incredible than the 00s were rough times the biggest hi light was the metro court crisis. The best crisis done & them doing it backwards was great. I remember fans all being confused when they showed the ending & it was like did we miss something than the flash of 12 hrs before was great. The music was great too. That score they used deserved an Emmy. " one " was so great I'm convinced that's why they made him Jerry Jax who was never that evil just money laundering but they wanted to keep him cause he was so commanding. Very Hans gruber from die hard. Gh imo went up 1000% when they brought back the brilliant multi Emmy winning Jonathan Jackson. He raises everyone's game around him. I'd never seen sbu have full blown tears like that. Man gh had so many great characters at once & although I didn't love what they did w/ the short return of VM as Brenda giving her this ridiculous connection to of all people sonny's long lost adult son & then the whole Balkan thing & if they were gonna give Brenda a child why w/ some guy offscreen who died that we never cared about. I'd rather shed had some secret fling w/ sonny nobody knew about & had a kid if they had to give her a child. Then they wind up divorcing cause yet again sonny gets way too involved in carlys life & her custody fight w/ Jax. Like what is it w/ sonny having to take carlys only 2 kids by other men away from them as babies. He even went to his method of choice which was drugging Jax & having him arrested & ruined his reputation. All cause Carly even after Micheal was shot in the head being next to sonny she finally had clarity & realized sonny never should have been micheals adopted dad after they pulled the same garbage on aj w/ locking him up w/ vodka for days or the meat hook. Ugh. I guess lucky for Jax Carly actually did still love him as she was actually reasonable after getting yet again full custody cause of sonny but she still at least wanted to still give Jax joint custody. Anyway sorry I went to that but it bugged me a lot that even during lucky & Liz horror theirs Carly listening in & immediately thinking of Jocelyn. Yes I get she needed a kidney donor & what timing Jake dies ( him being alive I don't even know if i want to count that as gh went horribly wrong for years esp after 2011 I'll never get how jasam finally have a baby after like almost a decade of build up & not one scene where jason learns Danny is his before he " died" on a mission for sonny. Like why was jason still the enforcer & not the partner I thought they were. He was still out doing all the dirty work & danger while sonny was sitting in his office ) so anyway I don't know but it was so weird & just so awkward having Carly immediately asking for not even plug pulled on Jake's kidney. I mean I get it Jake was brain dead & Jocelyn needed a kidney but could the request waited a day ? Jocelyn's time from diagnosis to imminent death seemed really fast too. Also hated how everyone thanked jason for the kidney when lucky was Jake's father in everyday that counts. A kids father is who raises the child.
Now, when Lucky was being played by those other actors who made Lucky into drug-addicted adulterer, that was one thing. Elizabeth's actions are put into some context. But when Jonathan Jackson returned and made Lucky himself again, and he and Liz were starting their own famliy, the writers made a horrible mistake having Liz cheat on Lucky with Nikolas, his own brother. That was not only low on her part, it was illogical and made Liz look like a slut.
Behind the scenes they wanted to fire the actress but her fans wouldn't let them. So they made her completely out of character from 2010ish up til her pairing with Franco. They figured Franco would ruined any of her likability. But Friz ended up one of the most popular pairings. I stopped watching though because they ruined liason, ruined LL2 when JJ came back and killed Jake at the time and went so far to fire a pregnant Becky at the time.
I love LL2 in these scenes, and I have to say I really enjoyed the way Lucky and Jason respected each other throughout this storyline for instance when Lucky called Jason about the accident.
The acting here with tyler, liz, lucky, jason, lulu,Steve was on point all of them did a good job here and the emotions here where omg I cried that is how much is gh means to the fans stuff like this because this happens in real life to
That was done by other actors who were not playing the role of Lucky as originally envisioned. When Jonathan Jackson left the role, his replacements did not have the same chemistry with Rebecca Herbst and the writers did their usual soap opera character destruction, having Lucky descend into behavior that was most definitley out of character in order to take the new actors in a different direction. When Jackson returned, the old Lucky finally resurfaced, but Liz barely resembles her old self.
@77serendipity "Lightning in a bottle chemistry that only comes around once in a blue moom"-NICE. Their unique chemistry is what soaps used to be made of, their incredible, and I will NEVER understand why the writers have hacked up LL2 upon JJ's return. I never thought Jonathan was returning to GH. I love RH outside of any of her pairings, she's my favorite on GH, but LL2 have always been "it" for me as well, since 97'-98'.
@faeriesrock I love that we don't even need to hear the words. We can just feel it in their incredible performances. They are just stunning together. Lighting in a bottle chemistry that only comes around once in a blue moon. JJ & Becky are it for me.
Jason cried here was so omg he showed so much emotions -e love jake so much he did everything, anything for him even though it was so painful for him to do
I watched the scene when it first came out till this day I still cry they all did such an amazing job acting like that and crying feels like it was real like I really did happen amazing how they are they can act amazing gifts
I really like how they didn't play any background music when Jason came out and told them Jake had died, and all you can hear is Jason's shaky breathing and Lucky's weeping. Made that moment even more devestating.
Even though it's been years these scenes with jake it still gets to me every time i see it.the acting, emotions, face experiences from liz, lucky,Jason that was so heartbreaking to see the crying from Jason was omg so powerful his emotions for his son that was a father love, caring and so much more even now that jason does not interact with him
Liz and lucky the acting was so on point from both of them they have a lot in these scenes with jake and then he dies. They should have win emmys for this storyline and the acting liz, lucky give
The look on Jason face was so heartbreaking the emotions from him i felt it and from liz, lucky they cried i saw Jason like that only a few sometimes only with liz, jake, sam the most
@faeriesrock Me too. I agree. I saw the promo where you can actually hear Elizabeth saying "No no no!!" over and over again to Lucky when he tells her. It's so powerful as well but this felt like a more intimate moment between the two of them with the silent screams through the glass with just the music playing over. Almost as if we weren't suppose to be watching this private moment. It broke my heart completely.
Liz,lucky, jason and others were good actors the acting was so omg and more.i sew the chemistry between them and the emotions from both of them and others in this storylin. This was one of the few times Jason cry
@77serendipity I thought about that scene all day, its the one that stuck out most to me. At first I was almost disapointed we weren't in the room with them, but the silence made it so much more powerful. BH/JJ were unbelievable in these scenes. I've loved LL2 since their inception, and it was b/c of JJ/BH's amazing chemistry. The writers are FOOLS if they do not reunite these two.
Theses scenes kill me. It should have been Jason and Lucky telling her that the little boy that all three of them loved had died. TPTB screw up so many good story lines. All the good story lines for ladies have to be for Carly, Ava, Sam, or Alexis. There is so many good women on this show that they should have scenes for them all. I agree with so many of of the views saying that Becky should have won a Emmy for this .
This whole thing was just stupid!!! Jake had serious potential, but leave it to the Guzanator. It was all too rushed and I'm still mad there was no shown memorial service!! Brilliant performances by JJ, RH, and SB
I can understand why Carly did what she did and I can understand her going to Jason. Lucky and Elizabeth would have just killed her if she had gone to them. But their son had just died and Joss still had time. She should have backed off.
In 2004 Sam baby died and Kristina health got bad and she was a little girl, 2011 little Jake dies and Joss health got bad too why do the writers always make the little one's suffer. These two were the saddest episodes.
OK I was never a big Lucky and Liz fan especially w/ the Nik fiasco. But let me be on record -- this ... this moment...yeah... i think they got their mojo back.
Re-watching the scenes is still so heartbreaking... I had forgotten that Jason was the one that told lucky because he had been in the observation area watching with Robin shook her head to him
It really saddens me the writers made him a deadbeat dad. You cannot tell me that Lucky didn't love being a father to his boys. I understand it probably made for easier writing since JJ wasn't on GH but they could've at least acknowledged that Lucky would see the boys regularly and talk often.
it's pretty clear to me now that without his little brother and parents rollercoaster relationship plus his biological father he is going to be somewhat of a crimalis
@cashmerelover89 Nope, Ireland needed to go home a long time ago. I heard Tyler C was let go as Nikolas, I will never get why they keep trying to axe veterans and keep newbie characters. Lush may have a following, but if she left, no one would really care. grrr. Nothing against the actress, just the nature of soaps.
Jonathan is such an amazing actor
When they collapse together-I fall apart each and every time I watch. Jonathan and Becky are PHENOM together!
Wow. LL2 were incredible. My stomach was in knots the entire show. The thing that killed me was that silent scene through the glass where Lucky told Elizabeth. What a powerful and emotional moment. JJ & Becky broke me down in tears right then. My heart was aching for them.
Becky is always at her best with JJ by her side, their performances together are stunning.
ladygrace314 yes she was was I wished that gh kept lucky jj on gh now like nikoles and Emily .liz could have use her then
angela morales SAME. JJ is the ONE and ONLY lucky, he didn't win 5 emmy's for nothing! can't believe RH didn't win an Emmy for this SL!
Sara Kennedy-i know i wished Rebecca/liz would have won a emmy for this storylines
3 years later and this scene still can reduce me to tears...
all55husbands it sure did I loved Liz and lucky and Jason here the acting was on point and when Jason came out to tell them that jake did not make was omg i cried no one should go through this at all

I still can't believe Becky didn't win an Emmy!! She was robbed.
Me to she gave a lot into this storyline
Now, when Lucky was being played by those other actors who made Lucky into drug-addicted adulterer, that was one thing. Elizabeth's actions are put into some context. The thing was Liz cheated with Nikolas before Jonathan came back as Lucky

AMAZING acting by Becky & JJ when the glass where he told liz they was so amazing and so tearful ty for posting!
oh my god. jonathen jackson.... what amazing acting. his was the best performance today out of everyone
I love LL2 in these scenes, and I have to say I really enjoyed the way Lucky and Jason respected each other throughout this storyline for instance when Lucky called Jason about the accident.
Never saw Jason actually crying until now!
jason cried when he had to break up with elizabeth.
POWERFUL POWERFUL EPISODE. The acting was out of this world!!! Emmy's for becky and JJ NOW.
The acting here with tyler, liz, lucky, jason, lulu,Steve was on point all of them did a good job here and the emotions here where omg I cried that is how much is gh means to the fans stuff like this because this happens in real life to

Becky, JJ, and SB broke my heart today!! I am sitting here crying like a babay..
It's a leftover when scence Emily died
@77serendipity "Lightning in a bottle chemistry that only comes around once in a blue moom"-NICE. Everyone in these scenes, from JJ to Becky to SB , reminded me of those scenes with Bobby & Tony when BJ died.
They all deserved Emmys.
@faeriesrock I love that we don't even need to hear the words. We can just feel it in their incredible performances. They are just stunning together. Lighting in a bottle chemistry that only comes around once in a blue moon. JJ & Becky are it for me.
I LOVE Becky Herbst!!! Jonathan and Becky are INCREDIBLE together even more so than when they were first LL2 together in 97'.
Jason cried here was so omg he showed so much emotions -e love jake so much he did everything, anything for him even though it was so painful for him to do
LL2 just broke my heart today... great job JJ and RH
I watched the scene when it first came out till this day I still cry they all did such an amazing job acting like that and crying feels like it was real like I really did happen amazing how they are they can act amazing gifts

Awww Patrick was crying
Even though it's been years these scenes with jake it still gets to me every time i see it.the acting, emotions, face experiences from liz, lucky,Jason that was so heartbreaking to see the crying from Jason was omg so powerful his emotions for his son that was a father love, caring and so much more even now that jason does not interact with him

For some reason I loved the moment when Jason and Lucky touched eachother.
That scene broke me down! Jason and Lucky! 😭😭😭😭😭
@faeriesrock Me too. I agree. I saw the promo where you can actually hear Elizabeth saying "No no no!!" over and over again to Lucky when he tells her. I had wanted liz to break down and fall out on the floor but then BOTH OF THEM FELL...i was just speechless like #whoa.....
Jake was born in 2007 and I lucky was hurt when Jason told him and later Emily died and now jake died
Liz,lucky, jason and others were good actors the acting was so omg and more.i sew the chemistry between them and the emotions from both of them and others in this storylin. This was one of the few times Jason cry
yes, jason is jake's biological father. lucky adopted both cameron and jake
Lucky never adopted Cam and he was Jake's "legal father", but he never adopted him either
The way they both fall down to the ground it broke my heart 🥺
@77serendipity I thought about that scene all day, its the one that stuck out most to me. Why isnt Jason with Elizabeth instead of whats his name when Lucky goes to see his son?
This whole thing was just stupid!!! Jake had serious potential, but leave it to the Guzanator. It was all too rushed and I'm still mad there was no shown memorial service!! Brilliant performances by JJ, RH, and SB
I can understand why Carly did what she did and I can understand her going to Jason. Lucky and Elizabeth would have just killed her if she had gone to them. But their son had just died and Joss still had time. She should have backed off.
ashli674 Liz would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed
I hated Carly in this moment.
Am so sorry about your loss
Good news, he never died.
how has becky not won a emmy?
I've been there, I lost a three month old to crib death. There is no greater pain in this world!
In 2004 Sam baby died and Kristina health got bad and she was a little girl, 2011 little Jake dies and Joss health got bad too why do the writers always make the little one's suffer. These two were the saddest episodes.
This is sad but it doesn't pack the same punch that BJ's death did.
OK I was never a big Lucky and Liz fan especially w/ the Nik fiasco. But let me be on record -- this ... this moment...yeah... i think they got their mojo back.
I just broke down with Liz, Jason, and Lucky.
I'M SO HAPPY he turned out to be alive because this BROKE ME and was so unnecessary!
Re-watching the scenes is still so heartbreaking... I had forgotten that Jason was the one that told lucky because he had been in the observation area watching with Robin shook her head to him
Lucky was such a good dad back then

reference to Cameron
it's pretty clear to me now that without his little brother and parents rollercoaster relationship plus his biological father he is going to be somewhat of a crimalis
I agree 100%.
When jake was born Emily was alive and Emily died the end and now jake died
I swear those cassadines are something else I'm surprised lucky and elizabeth can't stand nikolas
Jonathon jackson is good at crying
@cashmerelover89 Nope, Ireland needed to go home a long time ago. I heard Tyler C was let go as Nikolas, I will never get why they keep trying to axe veterans and keep newbie characters.
