My headcanon is this show is all the tribbles nightmare, and he will wake up safe on board the station after he hit Kirk on the head when he fell out of the grain bin.
Lorca, from the Mirror universe, was the only decent character in the entire series. He just wanted to go home. It shows how morally bad the other characters were.

I am guessing that the writers did not know what it was, so just left it there ??
My headcanon is lorcas tribble is actually a stealthy supergenius. He's been biding his time figuring out a way to bring lorca back.

You mean the short lived, exceptionally fast breeding species, hasn't filled the ship to the brim?
Let's not pretend anyone on the show knew what a Tribble was.
maybe they need at least 2 to breed?

Lorca and Pike
Lorca was a real no bs kinda captain 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
That tribble had more character development than any of the Disco cast. 😭

It's like this progressive suggesting Uhura is dumb. That's problematic right there.

good eye. destroyed the tribble with terrible writing. and too much smiling. why so much smiling on that show like they are making fan fiction.
Has that tribble been neutered? I ask because if they were feeding it at all then the ship would be infested with them.
The one decent captain Discovery had and they killed him off.
Why shouldn’t it still be there?

Man you brought back lots of good memories. Prehistoric Park was amazing.
How long is the natural lifespan of a Tribble in Star Trek?
Not very long. They reproduce as much as possible then die afaik.
its pretty short when you consider tribbles are BORN PREGNANT with a litter on average of about 10.

To know if any klingon spies get close to him. They totally missed that opportunity with Ash Tyler in season 1
