there are soo many 'tips for studying' videos out here that are, in my opinion, really not something new or that helpful, but this one... yes, thank you! a lotttt of your tips have already helped me, so i hope a lot of people stumble across this video of yours!
the channels Feardog and ambition have great playlists some even with a lil kpop!! they mainly have soft and sweet music though nothing too loud or distracting.. I would recommend you study away from your bedroom because we associate that place with relaxing and sleeping. so maybe study in a library or at a place you associate with being productive it worked for me !! great vid

This was pretty helpful. I think what messes with me is the fact I don't have a desk to study on so I just use my bed which doesnt help me accomplish nothing and my table downstairs is a little to tall for me... I'm kinda short. I feel like if I had a desk or a stationary or something I'd be more motivated idk

Maybe buy one of those cheap foldable desks and sit on the floor? Back when I didn't have a table to use I used to do that all the time, it worked out pretty well for me :D

How I motivate myself to study:
1. Buy Pringles
2. Force myself to study(if I didnt finished studying in time, i'll forced myself not to eat anything as punishment😂😂)

I made a chill Korean playlist just for studying because I found that it really helped I find that I get my work done so much faster when I listen to it
U need to be memorizing and relaying information for almost anything u do for school / work . the foundation for a conducive studying environment and this can be really blamed on the parent if their children don't turn out well is to give them a private quiet space with (either concrete or better yet sound proof walls) so they can vocalise what they are memorising so to retain the information. Sure u can memorise without vocalising (so u can share a room with others) BUT having a private space all to urself studying helps a lot.. Vocalising helps retain the info easier listening to the words ur memorising to make it more clear and less jumbled in ur brain that can be a consequence of trying to memorise without vocalization. Without vocalization u can also get very distracted and tired so although parents may think the library is good enough it's really not.. Cos it's also important that u study close to region of sleep /eating to maximise time and ur more comfortable to memorize too ..
I cannot stress enough how important this can be especially for children in Singapore where its a lot harder to find quiet spaces with the over population.. Yes there's a no noise pollution after 10 pm. But I strongly feel that each parent should make sure their child has a room to themself (added bonus sound proof walls) for maximum privacy to effectively memorise information..
And then from. There u can also introduce tutors to help..

Ugh I listen to kpop too, but I end up learning the general lyrics, and then I'm always singing along rather than doing my work.
The tea break wouldn’t work for me, I’d focus too much on stretching out my tea so I could get to a good stopping point. Not judging!
