Hi, I have the microrig pedalboard, which is a copy. They are very similar. I have a Samsung J4 Plus phone that is compatible with OTG. I connected my phone and it doesn't recognize it. I saw in other videos that the light that indicates that it is charging comes on. But when I connected it, the light didn't turn on and it didn't record. It only recorded with the phone's microphone. Could you give me a solution please? Thanks.
Tried this trick with my newly bought Cube Baby AC and Huawei Smartphone via OTG/micro-usb and it worked naman! Mas maganda nga ang quality ng sound/recording! Thanks! Ang problema ko na lang is how to load new IR's kasi 'di ma-recognize 'yung Cube Baby ng PC namin...no device connected ang lumabas! 🤔
Nag gaganyan din sakin Sir. Di narerecognize ng cubesuite, pero when you check sa sound settings, line USB (Cube Baby) naman yung input/output. Meaning, nareread naman sya as sound card or interface. Ang ginagawa ko, meron akong usb hub. Pag naka saksak dun, nareread na sya ng cube suite.

Walang 0% distance. 1 to 100% lang. 1 is max volume, 100% is no volume. May separate video ako for that. Check nyo na lang po. Mas in-depth explanation don.

been searching and asking around but no one seems to know how to update the firmware of cubebaby. I was able to get the files, but cannot find the software used to update the pedal. The sites mentioned in videos have changed.
Sir anong pang counter mo sa volume spike ni Cuvave? IR distance ba? medyo mahina kase clean tone lalo na pag may chorus effect.Okay pa naman ako sa clean, yung sa volume spike lang talaga. thanks idol in advance
Yes Sir. IR Distance lang sya. Yung fix sa chorus naman, icopy mo lang yung clean tone mo na walang chorus. Then if isesave mo na yung with chorus, raise mo lang yung gain. Hanggang mag pantay sila ng volume.
OR, since saveable naman na yung patch volume sa mga new release na cube baby. Set mo lang ng higher volume yung chorus preset mo compare sa dry clean. Pede yun Sir.

Yes Sir. Nung binili ko kasi sakin noong march, triny ko na din to. Kaso di sya gumana.. Then nung nag update ako to V1.75. Sinubukan ko ulit.. Aun, gumana na.. hahha. V1.75 pa lang ang version nung sakin. Di pa ulit ako nakakapag update sa V2.2. pero for sure naman gagana na din ito sa V2.2 kasi ss V1.75 ay gumana na.. Pero try nyo na lang din po kahit di nyo pa nauupdate. Thanks..

Its just the default camera of the poco X3 that I used in filming this video. I have other videos for the multitrack recording on Phone. I used Ntrack or Band Lab. Hope this helps..

Ginwa ko nmn po yung asa video , nacoconnect namn po yung sound/music from android to cuvave , pero pag record , wlang sound, surround sound lng naririnig ,pati yung output ng gitara hndi nahahagip sa record😅😅.

1. Cube Baby is a multi efx / IR Loader pedal / Soundcard/Audio interface. We can use it as a guitar effects and we can record directly to PC or Android phones.. Cube Baby is not a midi controller, and it cannot be used to switch presets on computer.. (But, we can edit the preset parameters on PC using cube suite app) 2. I havent tried that. Good point. But I need a mono cable for microphone, since the Input of Cube Baby is Mono and not Stereo.. 3. The Chocolate is a midi controller, it doesnt generate sound. Only the Cube Baby can generate and record sounds. What you need is an audio interface, usually it has a mic and instrument input. Hope this helps! 😍😀😁
You need and Iphone OTG Cable. One end is an Iphone Charging Type Plug then the other end is a 3.5mm TRRS Cable. This cable is used if you want to connect a regular headset to and iphone.. Im not sure if there a USB Type A OTG for Iphone. Thanks
If yung android phone nyo po ay supported yung reverse charging, mag chacharge po yung cube baby. Naka poco X3 ako sa video ka to sir, chinacharge nya yung cube baby while connected sa kanyan

Yes Sir. Be mindful pala pag nagupdate ka ng firmware. Basahin nyo po maigi yung file name. Yung nasa cuvave website kasi ay H8 firmware yung nandon. Walang for cube baby. Ibang product yung H8. Madami kasing nag install ng H8 firmware sa cube baby nila. Ayun nag freeze. Ang issue eh may problema faw pag nag update ka. Which is hindi naman, mali lang talaga yung firmware na ininstall nila. May copy ako ng latest firmware 1.11.22 bago mawala sa cuvave website. May video ako for that, na may link ng gdrive ko. Check nyo ka lang din po .

Yung OTG Cable as record out to android ay hindi ko pa natry sa Cube Baby Sir. Pero, sa V8 Sound card, natry na namin yon to IOS. Gumana naman. Most likely, gagana naman siguro un sa Cube Baby kasi same sila na sound card.. Yung sa sa headphones, pede po yan Sir.
Yes po. Yung sa huawei phone ko, hindi nagana. Pero may mga nakachat ako na sa phone daw nila na microusb, nagana naman. Depende na lang po siguro talaga sa specs nung android phone. Hope this helps.
Yes it works for recording. If your Cube Baby is model 2022 below, a firmware update is needed. But if youjust bought your Cube Baby recently, it will work already. Thanks

Hindi Sir. Yung Cube Suite na pang cellphone, hindi sya pede sa Cube Baby. Pang chocolate at ms-1 midi po sya.. So far, sa Cube Suite PC lang po pede yung Cube Baby. Pero siguro in the future, baka ienable na din nila sa mobile phones. Thanks po

Pede yan Sir. Yung headset out is para sa headset, earphone, headphone or sa mixer at sound system.. As long stereo yun or aux.. Ang nasa video kasi na to ay record out to phone.. yung sa sinasabi nyo is line out naman..

Mostly kasi, yung USB audio kasi ay supported on Type C android eh. So OTG Type C po ang pede.. Mas okay na din kung check nyo po sa cp nyo kung supported ba ang usb audio sa charging port nya.. usually, pag pede ka makinig ng audio sa or magsaksak ng headset sa charging slot nya. Okay po yun. Ang gami ko is otg type c by ugreen.

Wala kasi akong pc kaya di ako makapag recommend based on my own exp. Pero pede ang audacity, reaper, Ntrack for PC at any DAW.. Need lang ata mag install ng Asio4All driver.. Maraming may content nito sa YT. Nag try ako mag multi track recording sa Ntrack for android gamit itong Cube Baby via Charging port. Di sya pede sa multi track sa android. May audio loop sya . Yung backing track ko, nasa Track 1 (unarmed).. Tas yung guitar, nasa track 2, naka arm... Bale narerecord pa din yung track 1 kahit di sya naka arm. Gawa siguro na sound card ang pasok ng cube baby. Same issue ko ito sa V8 sound card din.

Para syang V8 Soundcard..Ganun kasi ginagawa ko sa V8. Yung charging port ang ginagamit ko pang record.. Tas kung sa android coconnect, need lang ng otg. Pero yung method na un, hindi sya compatible sa lahat ng android. Pansin ko, sa mga Type C lang sya nagana, kasi ss type c, supported na ang usb audio. Sa MicroUSB kasi hindi .. Sa pagloload naman ng IR, need mo magdownload ng Cube Suite App for PC sa website ng cuvave.. May Playlist ako Sir ng Cube Baby. Try nyo po panuorin, andun pa lahat about cube baby. Wala pa lang ako ng full demo talaga, pero marami na non sa YT. Hehe
Yung 1.11.22 pa din Sir. Yun ung latest firmware na may update sa function sa old model na Cube Baby. If bagong bili yung Cube Baby nyo, no need to update kasi updated na yan. Also, ung mga bagong labas na cube baby ay di na compatible sa mga uploaded na firmwares. Mag eerror sya if inupdate..
Pede din sya pang FB or RUclips Live. Kaso, if need nyo ng voice, di nya kaya kasi pang guitar lang talaga sya. Pede ang 1; If may audio mixer kayo, ia out nyo sa sa backing track in ng Cube Baby. Tas yung vocals nyo, sa mixer na naka connect. Hagip na yan sa stream. Or 2; If may V8 kayo, pede nyo ichain si V8 at Cube Baby. Hehe. Both setup po ginagawa ko..

been searching and asking around but no one seems to know how to update the firmware of cubebaby. I was able to get the files, but cannot find the software used to update the pedal. The sites mentioned in videos have changed.

Yes Sir. IR Distance lang sya.
Yung fix sa chorus naman, icopy mo lang yung clean tone mo na walang chorus.
Then if isesave mo na yung with chorus, raise mo lang yung gain. Hanggang mag pantay sila ng volume.
OR, since saveable naman na yung patch volume sa mga new release na cube baby. Set mo lang ng higher volume yung chorus preset mo compare sa dry clean. Pede yun Sir.

Yes Sir. Nung binili ko kasi sakin noong march, triny ko na din to. Kaso di sya gumana.. Then nung nag update ako to V1.75. Sinubukan ko ulit.. Aun, gumana na.. hahha. V1.75 pa lang ang version nung sakin. Di pa ulit ako nakakapag update sa V2.2. pero for sure naman gagana na din ito sa V2.2 kasi ss V1.75 ay gumana na.. 1. Cube Baby is a multi efx / IR Loader pedal / Soundcard/Audio interface. We can use it as a guitar effects and we can record directly to PC or Android phones.. Cube Baby is not a midi controller, and it cannot be used to switch presets on computer.. (But, we can edit the preset parameters on PC using cube suite app)
2. I havent tried that. Good point. But I need a mono cable for microphone, since the Input of Cube Baby is Mono and not Stereo..
3. The Chocolate is a midi controller, it doesnt generate sound. Only the Cube Baby can generate and record sounds.
What you need is an audio interface, usually it has a mic and instrument input. Hope this helps! 😍😀😁

You need and Iphone OTG Cable. One end is an Iphone Charging Type Plug then the other end is a 3.5mm TRRS Cable. This cable is used if you want to connect a regular headset to and iphone..

Madami kasing nag install ng H8 firmware sa cube baby nila. Ayun nag freeze. Ang issue eh may problema faw pag nag update ka. Which is hindi naman, mali lang talaga yung firmware na ininstall nila.

Try nyo na lang din Sir.. Ang bibilin nyo na lang naman if ever is otg type c cable na lang.. Asa php140 lang un sa lazada. Ugreen na ang bilin nyo na brand, magandang klase na.. If ever na di gumana ang usb otg, yung 3.5mm gagamitin nyo.. But if gumana sya, mismong mismo yan. Its worth the try, php 140 lang naman ang gagastusin nyo. Hahah. Pero tingin ko talaga, gagana sya kasi, upgrade ang type c from microusb eh.. Isang way para matry nyong supported ang usb audio sa type is pag may headset kayong sinaksak sa type C, tas nagana headset.. Kasi may mga type c na adopter na pangheadset din..

Default camera lang ng Poco X3 po. Usually, this method works with Android phones with Type C port. Dun kasi kadalasan na supported na ang usb audio.

Yes Sir. From the start naman talaga, yan yung connection if sa PC or Laptop.. Yung charging port as record out to android phone ang recent lang.. Triny ko na kasi yon date, kado di gumana. Tas recently nung nag update ako firmware, out of curiosity sinubukan ko ulit. Haha. Aun! Gumana na. Then, gumawa agad ako content para makatulong sa iba.
Wala kasi akong pc kaya di ako makapag recommend based on my own exp. Pero pede ang audacity, reaper, Ntrack for PC at any DAW.. Need lang ata mag install ng Asio4All driver.. Maraming may content nito sa YT.
Nag try ako mag multi track recording sa Ntrack for android gamit itong Cube Baby via Charging port. Di sya pede sa multi track sa android. May audio loop sya . Yung backing track ko, nasa Track 1 (unarmed).. Tas yung guitar, nasa track 2, naka arm...
Bale narerecord pa din yung track 1 kahit di sya naka arm. Gawa siguro na sound card ang pasok ng cube baby. Same issue ko ito sa V8 sound card din.

Para syang V8 Soundcard..Ganun kasi ginagawa ko sa V8. Yung charging port ang ginagamit ko pang record.. Tas kung sa android coconnect, need lang ng otg. Pero yung method na un, hindi sya compatible sa lahat ng android. Pansin ko, sa mga Type C lang sya nagana, kasi ss type c, supported na ang usb audio. Sa MicroUSB kasi hindi ..
Sa pagloload naman ng IR, need mo magdownload ng Cube Suite App for PC sa website ng cuvave.. May Playlist ako Sir ng Cube Baby. Try nyo po panuorin, andun pa lahat about cube baby. Wala pa lang ako ng full demo talaga, pero marami na non sa YT. Hehe

Yung 1.11.22 pa din Sir. Yun ung latest firmware na may update sa function sa old model na Cube Baby.
If bagong bili yung Cube Baby nyo, no need to update kasi updated na yan.
Also, ung mga bagong labas na cube baby ay di na compatible sa mga uploaded na firmwares. Mag eerror sya if inupdate..
