    I think it's worth wild. The price for entry for beginners and people who don't have a lot of cash is incredible in 2022. I came up in the 70s, and I simply could not afford quality gear. Today you can get this for $50.00, a $200 squire, and sound like a pro. Back then there were mostly high-end guitars, and the ones I could afford were simply unplayable. Pedals were within price range, but you had to buy one for each function. No pedal boards, going broke buying 9 volt batteries. To have just a decent amp was a luxury. Pleasing to the ear, the cost of 5 shots of vodka. I say run, do not walk and get this.

    This kinda thing is perfect for people like me. I’m a truck driver and you just cant plug an amp into a truck power outlet. You get all kinds of noise. I can do this (what this pedal does) with a string of pedals on a pedalboard and the last can be a Two Notes CabZeus or a Neunaber Iconoclast for speaker emulation with headphone out, and I do, but power is an issue. I use a few pedals that don’t take batteries. The LPD Sixty8 Deluxe and Source Audio Collider for instance. So I need to connect a rechargeable pedalboard power brick. This pedal you’re giving away runs on one battery. That’s great! So simple and compact and sounds... not bad. Not as good as an LPD pedal but usable, quick and easy.

    I have this, mainly the red "Muslady" version of it, and yeah, it does what it says, although I don't really call it "multi-effect" and more so just an Amp and Cab sim with Modulations and Delay so a portable amp, and yeah althought I think the most underrated feature of this is the ability to record to phones, which is pretty neat since my practice space is far away from my computer which means if i ever wanna record some tracks and whatnot, it's fairly easy to do on the phone.
    this is perfect if you have one of them cheap shitty 15 watt practice amps just to make it sound more decent, and I think it's best if you treat it like an amp and have pedals run in front of it as well.

    That's a pretty good rig. Improve the output tones by running it into a Joyo American Sound pedal and then into amp/pc/PA/etc and it will greatly improve. Half a decade back there were a few projects using a Raspberry Pi ($35 pc) with add-ons to make a multi-effects box similar to this. Could be a similar system in there, or not.

    I'd get this as a headphone rig. I'd really like to to know how you feel about the headphone sound as a main practice rig. I bought a few other headphone things and they just sucked. I'll be plugging in a dapper indie jam stick thing (has a terrible cab sim). I basically want/need an affordable headphone amp with IR not a full rig.

    • @BryanTheBand
      @BryanTheBand 3 года назад +5

      I got this a couple days ago. I have a few amps at home with headphone options, as well as one without a headphone option plugged into a mixer via the fx send with a headphone out.
      For headphone practice, this is going to be my preferred one. It takes pedals pretty well, and with the option to turn off the amp/tone you can stick Preamp pedals in front of you have a fly rig built.
      I love this thing lol

    I got one of these a few weeks ago. The USB interface on this is terrible. The latency drifts so as soon as you get used to it, the latency changes. There's also some restrictions on the types of IRs it can use that I can't seem to figure out. I think it's related to length since the ones that don't work either have no sound at all or cut out every few seconds. When the IRs work, it actually ends up being a pretty good IR loader. A lot of the digitalness seems to come from the default IRs.

    Yep can't go wrong at the price. Yep you can record into your DAW with it you can play backing tracks through it record into your phone if you want to. Also people have been using them at live gigs obviously small places, but it is very usable , Oh yes they do make a headphone amp that is very similar also a little cheaper. Do shop around for these if you want one I got mine for £29 if i had bought the week before it was 21 on Temu They are now 47 uk on Temu but several othe places have them and they come under a few different names but all the same box

      Fala Natália, tudo bem? Rapaz então, depende do seu setup. No meu caso é pedaleira ZOOM G3 + Sweet chili da FIRE + esse cuvave em linha. Para ruídos o segredo está nos preamp, eu tenho q ou usar um amp do Cuvave ou usar da Zoom, quando usa os dois juntos aí q vem só ruídos. Mesma coisa se vc tocar só com o cuvave no amp, vc teria q desligar o IR dele e usar somente modulações etc. O grande destaque dele é o IR loader, do atualizar para uns amps melhores e importa um IR de sua preferência para dentro dele pelo computador, aí sim ele vai ficar com a qualidade conforme o seu arquivo IR. Espero q ajudei em vez de confundir mais haha

    What an amazing wee box! I liked some of those sounds, but I don't think it could replace the versatility of the equivalent separate pedals. But as a musician who has always lived with a minimal budget I could use that on an album, and with a bit of careful mixing and processing I could make it work.

    For the cab models they had no problem using brand names.
    For the amps, you get things like Power Zone Clean, US Gold, Day Tripper OD and my personal fave Shittcow Dist.
    Most of the names mean nothing to me.
    I haven't subscribed to a guitar mag in over a decade maybe Mr. Smith, Stone Coral and Shittcow are the hot, coming brands in guitar amps.
    I kind of hope it is true for Shittcow.
