I live in the Adirondacks wilderness of upstate NY, in 2014 I was looking for a cool project and a house. I came across a old barn in the middle of the woods on a narrow back road with no houses around it for at least 2 miles in all directions, it was just a shell of a barn with engines, metals, tools, ect… stacked upto the roof when I bought it. It took me 2 years to clean out and 5 to build, I noticed about half way through the project there was NO power lines outside. They said it’s 500 dollars a foot for power poles and lines which would cost me over $350,000 to do, which I don’t have lol. So I decided to go off the grid, solar, and a backup generator if I don’t get enough sun. It’s been a very cool journey, and I love watching other people do similar things!
It's so Wonderful and Cute to see you kids playing some wholesome activities like we did when we were kids back in the 80s. Love your outfits too.

My friends and I did this in the woods when we were 16 and threw parties throughout highschool back there. I even put a fire pit INSIDE 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We used just wood we found never bought anything.
