The mascara you referred to as Canmake is actually by the brand Heroine Make! It's a wonderful mascara, practically bulletproof, I'm always so glad when you review it because I really love it too!

Bulletproof is right with Isehan Heroine. The only product I’ve found that removes it is the Nivea double effect remover, the one you have to shake.

The reason we’re going to disagree on mascaras is because our lashes, like our hair, differ so much. I have long lashes-but not thick lashes. So, I buy volumizing mascaras. Also, depending on eye size/shape-the wands make a difference in application. Big, teddy bear wands can be problematic for some, ideal for others. We just have to experiment
I love tubing mascaras, less flaking and no panda eyes
It's the same with eyelash curlers. Some people need a curvier curler, others need a flatter curler.

Most are dangerous bc they contained a substance that made the eyepatch dissolve. It's a waste of money. Buy castor oil, it's most of their main ingredient anyway.
Put in an old mascara tube after washing it out.
Apply on roots only & from above instead of from underneath. This will avoid it from ending up in your eyes.
Castor oil is thick, you need half a drop max.
Totally agree about the Rituel de Fille mascara! It is SO GOOD! One of the best mascaras I've tried in a long time, "clean beauty" or not.
i LOVE heroine make’s mascara. i have been using it for years and… ugh… it’s the only thing that holds a curl. my lashes grown straight out, and it takes a lot for them to stay curled. i love it
My all time favorite mascara is the Lancome Idole. It has a pretty similar wand to the Tower28 one. I wish I could find a cheaper option because I don’t like paying so much for a mascara but I just haven’t found one. I have hooded oily eyelids so it’s tricky to find a mascara that doesn’t smudge. I also have fairly long and kinda curly eyelashes so I don’t need eyelash curlers, but most mascaras don’t hold the curl by the end of the day. The Idole one doesn’t smudge on me and keeps my lashes long and curled all day regardless of the weather. Love it!

The Tower 28 mascara WAND is my favorite ever - I wish they’d make a version with a tubing formula! That would be my holy grail.
The lash without limits from Essence is the best mascara for me, better than any highend. It does not smudge and the lashes are long and nicely separated.

Thank you for reviewing the Heroine Make mascaras! I love them and have put it through showers and hours long crying spells with nothing coming off. 😂
One thing to note that the Heroine Make mascara does comes off if you rub gently with a dab of petroleum jelly on a cotton pad. However, the downside is that the formula stings pretty bad if it gets into your eyes. They also have a line of affordable liners which are also very budge proof. I have oily lids and use it without primer and it’s *chef’s kiss*

Nivea Double Effect is my favourite remover for it. It’s pretty resilient vs many of my oil cleansers.
You didn't buy the Heroine Make speedy mascara remover? I use it all the time and doesn't sting.

100% agree. Covergirl lash blast, Tarte tartlette tubing mascara, and Tower 28 are my go to mascaras. I also like the Thrive tubing mascara and the rare beauty mascara but they're second tier. Old favs that no longer suit me due to aging/sagging eye skin causing transfer: Too Faced better than sex, Loreal lash paradise, Marc Jacobs noir.
Would love to see a declutter for eyeliners as well! As I have hooded eyes, most eyeliners get smudgy throughout the day, and would love to get your recommendations!
My holy grail is Maybelline Lash Sensational (brown) mascara, literally perfect for my lashes and it looks so natural when I wear it!! That's the only mascara I've been buying for years

I found a mascara, genuine ginger, sold by Redhead revolution. Good for people with colorless lashes who use mascara for color mostly.
L'Oreal Double Extend for the win. It's a tubing mascara with primer. Stays on. Really stays on. All day. Yet removes easily.
The only mascara I've used for over a year now - which is saying something because I've tried so many over the decades.
The revlon so fierce is one of my absolute favorites. SO GOOD.
I wish it wasn’t so but the mascara I am IN LOVE WITH is the Surrat Noir Lash Tint. I am one of those with sensitive eyes and like natural looking lengthening mascara and ADORE the wand. Tried the Tower 28 but after a week had so much fall out and clumping & smearing for me. If there is anything else like it I haven’t found it.

Many you mentioned have not been able to hold a curl for me I have to curl my lashes and basically have not found a non-waterproof that can hold…..and even a lot of waterproof ones don’t work. I guess I have super fair lashes
When i was younger and new to makeup, hated mascaras because i hated how they feel on my eyes and also they smudged and the volume ones make my eyes look weird and it felt like they were pointless. I also hated having to curl my lashes because i would accidentally pinch my lids which are really painful. Im now in love with my Heroine Make mascaras they have fun colors that are actually wearable and i want to get all of them because its really the only mascara that stays, doesnt smudge and doesnt feel heavy after multiple apllication. I also have tower 28 mascara and i really like it for days that i want to wear black for darker makeup looks. Also i got over my fear of the eyelash curler snd just try to be more careful with it, not ny favorite part but the reward for having lifted lashes is nice. In short Heroine Make mascara is my holy grail mascara and i want all of their different colors and play with colored eyelashes
this was very informative. My favorite mascara is Loreal False Fiber mascara in the gold tube. I have sensitive eyes and this one doesn't;t bother me. It gives a ton of volume and length. I get the washable version.
My favorite mascaras are L’Oréal telescopic (OG) benefit roller lash and they’re real magnetic, and rare beauty. I have tower 28 waiting while I use up some of my current mascaras :) I also have some backups of benefit roller lash it’s such a good everyday mascara for me.
One of my favorite last-layer mascaras is Clio Kill Lash. This stuff doesn't budge. I use the Skinfood Milkshake Point remover and it makes removal way easier!
Love, love YSL lash clash is stunning. In second place is directly sweed lashes mascara so good
I'm not a mascara girl but I Clio's Kill Lash Superproof mascara works amazing for my stubborn, straight lashes! They hold up so well on Asian lashes!
Why so many? I buy one every 3 months and throw the old one away.
could you consider running normalizer on sound? It is much lower than than most videos and computer sounds to the point of jump scare and hearing damage.

I always like to layer mascaras. I’m currently using Ilia limitless lash, which I was told at my local Sephora is the #1 top selling mascara overall at Sephora. It does similar to what Amanda said the tower 28 does, but it stings my eyes and it smells gross after being open a little while. I think it goes bad fast. I buy minis and replace often. Over top of that, I use the Caliray mascara, which is the lightest tubing formula on the market IMO. It helps to keep that lifted look *and* somehow seals in the ilia so it doesn’t sting me.
i experience stinging w lilia máscara too.. i wonder what ingredient is bothering our eyes
The L’Oréal tubing mascara is my current favorite. It stays put and washes off so easily with water.
Me recognizing how many mascaras there are out there. I also have the Fenty and a Tarte tubing mascara waiting in the wings.
I love heroine make mascara and eyeliner. I like the green essence one too.
I think I am the only person who doesn’t love the Tower 28. I find the wand to be super pokey and the formula to be just ok. The only plastic wands I can use are the ones by Benefit (Roller Lash and Bad Gal Bang, specifically). That Rituel de Filles mascara looks amazing!!!
I feel the same way. The Tower 28 was just meh, didn’t hold a curl for me.
I tried really hard to love it also. It smudged terribly no matter what preventive measure I used and it did not hold a curl at all. I did like the formula though, it looked pretty before my lashes fully fell. I use Clio Kill Lash’s tubing formula (i think it’s vegan and version #4?) now.
The Tower 28 tended to flake and get into my eyes. Not a fan.
Would you consider reviewing Rose inc? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the concealer, skin tint, and foundation.
I love the Caliray Come Hell or High Water mascara. It’s tubing but gives lots of volume which I need more than length (which is what my other tubing mascaras tend to do).
the biggest struggle I have with mascaras is that the product doesn't stick to my lashes. I'm not sure why. Perhaps because I have sparse and straight lashes, or there's grease on them. By far I find maybelline lash sensational and bobbi brown smokey eye mascara work best for me.
I recently bought the Max Factor 2 in 1 due to the TikTok hype, and it's super thick and absolutely awful!! So thank you for the recommendations - my personal favourite is the Glossier Lash Slick, it's quite light and buildable - so I'd like to find another like it :))
I struggle so much with mascara, my lashes are freaking straight that even when it says curling within a couple minutes it falls right down and it makes me so sad😅
I have super straight lashes too. Tower 28 works super well for me, but only one coat though. More than that they weigh my lashes down.
I use the Shiseido eyelash curler and the Isehan kiss me heroine make long & curl mascara but it’s the best combo ever, my lashes stay curled all day!
Try Clio's Kill Lash Superproof mascara! I have the same problem too, but it works so well on me. The formula really helps hold my short, straight lashes hold a curl for most of the day. It's really affordable too!

Last Blast is my absolute favorite, hands down. Everything you said about it is right. It works the same, if not better when it starts to dry up. Everything about it is 🤌
I’m currently using Marc Jacob At lashed, Fenty’s full frontal, MAC Stack and Lorreal. I don’t like any of them with the exception of the Loreal. I’m fully committed to using them up. But would not recommend or repurchase. I have a few in my collection I haven’t tried Gucci, Lawless, Caliray and a several minis in various brands. So I’m definitely on a no buy in this category 😂 I do have my eye on a one from the brand I AM Cole when I need to pull the trigger, I also wouldn’t mind revisiting Ilia’s limitless! I did enjoy a sample size of that! The wand is so interesting. I’m excited for Refy to release a mascara!

Loved the overview of each product! I’m such a mascara snob. Omg I hated the MAC stack mascara. One of the worse I’ve ever tried. I haven’t had much luck with the brands mascara in general. Love Marc Jacob’s velvet Noir and At lashed, Lancôme Monsuer, Dior Show, Hour Glass unblocked, L’Oréal Telescopic,and ABH lash brag. I also really enjoyed the Kosas but the stopper came out so I didn’t get to fully enjoy it.
I agree - the MAC stack mascara is terrible. I was so excited for it too 😟

I have straight lashes, and the ONLY mascara I’ve ever found that keeps my eyelashes straight up & curled is the “MAC extended play perm me up lash”, which unfortunately they just discontinued 😢. It is a drier formula and doesn’t weigh down my lashes. I’d love your help to find a replacement! What mascara(s) would you recommend that are a drier formula that keeps the lashes lifted up & curled?

My favorite mascara of all time is by Laura Mercier but they discontinued it. I don’t remember the name. I haven’t found my favorite mascara since. My eyelashes are very short and stubborn
I had a sample of the milk rise mascara and it worked nicely the first 2 times i used it. Then it got so dry and flaky that it was flaky while i was putting it on, like black flecks all over my cheeks and it was immediate.... that's a no from me, I'd rather wear too faced BTS, at least that one only flakes at the end of the day.
My main problem these days is with smudging on my brow bone, my lashes have been growing longer and they will give me black smudges in between my brows and eyeshadow, annoying and i hate it. Waterproof mascara is the obvious solution to this, but i hate having to fight to remove them at the end of the day.

I'm stoked I finally found a drugstore mascara, the Wet N' Wild Mega Length. I can't believe I haven't tried any from WnW before bc believe me I've been on the hunt ever since both of my tried and true were discontinued in the same year. I have minis from Ilia and Merit (haven't tried the Merit yet) and the Ilia was really promising but I was hoping to find a drugstore mascara I could rely on. If anyone else likes this WnW mascara I'm sorry if they suddenly discontinue it, this is my curse!

What is the best waterproof mascara? Nearly all transfer or flake.
heroine make is really good. i do recommend getting and oil based cleaner to remove it though. it doesn’t budge

Whoa whoa, *refillable* mascara? What now? Is that basically you just buy a new tube and swap your old brush cap over? Because I can’t think of another way to “refill” mascara hygeinicslly
i don’t get the hype around the essence… for me the formula is too wet and my lashes just clump together.

I did not have good luck with the Heroine Make Long and Curl in Brown. It literally looked like I had nothing on my lashes, nothing. The packaging is pretty, however.
I wanted to love the Roen mascara so much but experienced so much fall out and flakes everywhere. Can anyone relate?!

Mascaras kind of do suck, but how most people apply mascara really does suck. Wiping the brush first fixes a lot of problems.
I hate, which is a strong word, but I sincerely have intense dislike for CoverGirl Lash bast in every iteration.

@@kintyrI love that it gives fast, good results. I think good mascaras now don’t take long to give you wow lashes. Rare and Tower 28 are like this for me. Rare gives more volume and looks traditional (great volume and length) but Tower 28 gives a beautiful, long fan effect with decent volume. Love both and layering them works great.
