- Well, not the day I was hoping for in Roth... but that's how it goes. Here's my thoughts post race.

The genuine concern for the age group athlete is just one more reason why this man is my favorite triathlete.

My back wheel slipped away just a bit going over a drain, but somehow I managed to stay on the bike. It's just a millisecond that's deciding between a finish or a DNF. Sorry for your crash, and sorry for the age grouper. You will come back next year I'm sure, and you will have a good race! ✌
Mitch has been drinking that radioactive energy drinks. First thing I asked Magnus when I crossed the finish line was how the pros did and I asked about you right away. Was so bummed to hear about this... glad you were not hurt

Glad there was no long term damage. I also crashed at Roth in 2019 when an AG just stopped on a corner but left his bike hanging out the rear. Over the TT bars i went and straight to hospital. See you in London T100.

For the maybe the 1st time, I'm watching a Daniel vid and saying... what a damn good guy! Was a follower but now, actually, I think I'm a pretty big fan.
Such an inspiration for me Daniel. You get up and keep going one setback after the other. Just like me you has the dream of becoming a professional triathlete but one injury and setback after the other, you just feeling like giving up.
Love that you are not just focused on yourself and have genuine concern and thoughts for those around you. Could of been so much worse Daniel, onwards and upwards mate.
