When you run downstairs at night for some snacks
I dont know when this is from, but knowing FloTrack it is 3 years to late
Patrick Tiernan DESERVES TO HAVE HIS NAME ON THE VIDEO
flotrack is all about advertising. "olympian" will get more views than saying Patrick Tiernan. They're just disrespectful like that.
That guy runs like a cat burglar
😂
This is hilarious haha
c'est la vie
i'm not sure what that means or which one you're talking about but it's hilarious
The chief in the white shirts looking like he's trying to not wake up his father in law
I’m most impressed by his super consistent pacing
Very good distance runners are very good at pacing. Like scarily good when they want to be. In Hicham El Guerrouj’s mile record, his half mile splits are: 1:51.58, 1:51.55
@@benfried7100 holly crap. I started running about a year ago and started doing 400 and 1k repeats about 3 months ago. One the things I find most difficult is to maintain a contact pace for the repeats, very hard to do
Kevin if they’re drastically slowing down, it means they’re probably too fast. Ideally you want to be able to replicate it each rep
I could not imagine getting my finger pricked in the middle of a workout
u dont really notice. dosent hurt that much. I do it all the time even sometimes in the ear
My guy runnin like he ain't tryna wake anybody up
Not even lockdown can stop the mighty workout Wednesday.
Anyone else notice Tiernan was on Kipchoge's pacing team for the sub-2 marathon? Among good company!
Why the dude in the white run like that? 💀
😂
my question is how is he so fast running like that lol
@@psycheagle9 ppl find what works for them. It's like Michael Johnsons style, it works for him but not necessarily everyone else
Psycheagle it doesn’t seem like he does the full 600m maybe 400m at the most so must be an easy workout for him
It’s not that odd except his elbows aren’t really bending. They stay stiff and he swings at the shoulder.
What the hell is that guy in the white shirt up to? Looks like he’s running barefoot over hot coals. Weirdest style I’ve ever seen!
Just shows that this workout is too hard for him.
He's toe running. Some claim it's good but actually it's much worse than midfoot striking.
the guy in white's form really upsets me XD
Same
Came here to look for this exact comment before making it myself XD
Harry Fisher me too! They should call him Sneaky Simon or Twinkletoes.
As a former 400m sprinter title of this workout gives me PTSD
Gotta keep putting in the reps🔥
What was the lactate level measured in was it like mmol per litre or summat
I was curious about that also, this is what Dr Google said: Normal results range from 4.5 to 19.8 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) (0.5 to 2.2 millimoles per liter [mmol/L]). Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories.
Ok you guys keep running, I am gonna enjoy my homemade cookie dough
That Villanova runner has some goofy form
دراسة جد مفيدة بارك الله فيكم 🌹🌹❤️
2:12I see that he has quite a bit of experience, and has done it quite a few times😂
Normally these workouts seem stupid fast but these times don't seem impossible.
Maybe for one but 10 is ridiculously hard.
With a 2 minute rest and being an Olympian it seems doable
Yeah these are supposed to give the athletes some neuromuscular training, practicing with *somewhat* faster paces (64 second 400m is very relaxed for an Olympian) while keeping his lactic acid low. The low end of the normal range is 4.5. High end is over 15. After three repeats, this guy's at 6.7. His breathing is barely elevated.
This guy makes 4:00 1500m pace looks like jogging
How much recovery between repeating?
What shoes????
when fuckin Bambi is chasing u round the track
How tall is he?
The Aussie can run
I swear my blood lactate would be like 25 after I did a workout like this.
Go Aussies!!!!! 🇦🇺👍
Marcus O Sullivan (coach) ran over
100 sub 4 miles.
Honestly this workout seems pretty easy for a 13:13 guy... right?
I thought the guy was Andrew Schulz. I will see myself out.
I used to train with pat before he went to america
Sorry I had to flex that
My body not work proper not increase my speed
Plz solve this problem
Run more
he has to create dinner for himselves..
Fix that other runner form, painful to watch
, I never use Nike anymore they're no good I would rather use another brand I used to be under another brand and the soon as I changed to Nike I had nothing but injuries up the injuries after injuries so I've discontinued all use of their products never had injury before in my life before I started using Nike I stretch very carefully I workout very carefully and I go to the gym a lot
Flosuck
Connor Bell don’t watch then
@@willokeefe2567 I like the content just not the way they present it
calculating lactating level is stupid. i would never do that during my training
I guess you know more about high level performance than Tiernan and his coach. So please explain why this is stupid. I´ll wait your masterclass
Lol stupid comment. its a great tool.
maybe the best way to analyse training (for all sports) it gives you the exact answear of how hard your pushing. my guess is when most runners do lactate thereshold workouts they are well above 4.0mmol in lactate and therefore are working to hard
Well that also means you're getting less information. Depends who and what the person is training for and who needs this info to help them improve
@@scottchui9858 you dont need lactate levels to help it improve. its bogus information. nice to have but bogus.
There’s no reason to check vo2 levels during a workout when his race pace and work out are tailored to a certain pace. Weirdest thing I’ve seen in my life. You know you could just use a chest heart rate Monitor and use heart rate data.
