I grew up in San Diego and worked in Temecula for several years before leaving the state in 2021, and your video reminded me of all of the good things in Southern California.
We are a Disney World family. We had only been to Disneyland once before December 2023. My oldest daughter(who is a new Disney travel agent) and I spent a long weekend at Disneyland at the beginning of December and fell in love with it! Don't get me wrong..... we still love DW, but DL is much more compact and easier to get around- especially if you are only there for a few days. We love how both of the parks and the Downtown Disney area are all right together. I also absolutely LOVE the nostalgia of DL. I can't wait to see your DL vlogs!!
I’m so excited for you guys to get to spend a good amount of time at Disneyland! I’m a Cali girl born and raised and Disneyland is my happy place I love it so much… so magical!
We live in Temecula so it's always so trippy to me when you guys are in town 😂 I also audibly yelled "What!? You've never had Del Taco!!!!!?" 😮 Their French fries are actually one of my favorites 😝 glad you guys had a fun trip! Can't wait for the Disney run videos! we signed up for our very first one this September, wish us luck! 😅🎉❤
I'm only 45 minutes from Temecula and less than an hour from Disneyland! Glad you enjoyed Temecula! It's beautiful and one of my favorite places to go! Highly recommend going to Temecula Olive Oil Company the next time you're here and do their farm tour. You won't be disappointed! Temecula is ideal for olive farming & the olive oil is out of this world! I would add palm springs to your list too! Such a beautiful place and only like an hour and a half from Temecula. A drive up the coast from San Diego or Oceanside into Laguna Beach is amazing too! You can use that route to have a more scenic drive to Disneyland and it does not disappoint! Born and raised here so I know all the good spots! 🙃 happy to have you guys in my neck of the woods! 🫶🏽 PS Del Taco shreds their cheese fresh & dices their own veggies, so yes, you're right about it being more fresh! Gotta get a quesadilla next time!!🤌🏽 😝
You were in my neck of the woods! Fun! We are in menifee which is about 15 minutes north of Temecula. We have Julien pies at our grocery stores here which is nice so we don’t have to drive an hour to get them so next time you come out if you want a pie just drive to stater brothers in menifee to get one 👍🏻
Hey former neighbor! My husband, the California native, moved me and my daughter to Wildomar when we got married, and we lived there for 11 years before moving back to Kentucky. My mother-in-law lives in Temecula. We used to go camping on Palomar Mountain, and would stop in Julien on our way home. All this stuff in Old Town must have sprung up after we left, because I remember when it was Domino’s, the donut place, the Swing Inn Cafe, a couple stores, and the Stampede…and not much else.
I used to work at the summer camp near there. Mom’s is the place to go!!! In addition, my friends/coworkers LOVED going to Miner’s Diner for the milkshakes!
I grew up going to DisneyLAND every year or two and it's still my Happy Place. Was just there a few weeks ago with my mom and LOVE LOVE LOVE Disneyland! Can't wait for these upcoming VLOGS. :)
The excitement I got when Tyler mentioned madewest in Ventura! If you ever see it on the menu, try Topa Topa Brewing Company’s chief peak IPA, another Ventura brew. We have quite a few breweries here! Very excited for the Disney vlogs, especially Jessica’s food recs for the Disney parks! ❤
My grandmother used to live in Julian! She had a little shop there, that I worked in from time to time. I grew up in Southern California, then moved to the Midwest a LONG time ago but still visit my mom in So CA. I'm bi-coastal. From the West Coast and I'm also from the West Coast of the Mississippi River (Iowa). lol!
So glad you got to experience Safari Park. I photograph the animals at the SD Zoo and Safari Park and share them on Instagram and FB. Love spending time at both. Sorry I didn't run into you!
Temecula is an amazing place to visit (and live). Thank you for sharing. Looks like you guys had a blast 🤗. God bless P.s. if you order a "California burrito" at a restaurant, it will come with fries inside
I love Del Taco. You get a good amount of food for the price, decent portions sizes, and fresher than a lot of other fast food. Their crinkle fries are so good.
My sister lives in Thousand Oaks & we’ve been to Tarantula Hill Brewery. Totally your vibe & I think you guys would love it. Add it to the adventure next time you’re in SoCal 😊 Side note: same sister just got home from a Disney cruise that your agency helped her book & plan. They had a great time!
What a great way to wake up. A notification from the Brauns! You have traveled more in the last 5 years than I have in all of my 74! 😳 What a fun trip to Temecula and around. So how was the pie?
Love this vlog. Three things that absoluelty no one needs my opinion on but I will be sharing anyways. 1. that shot of Mr. Lion that you have is truly amazing!! 2. Jessica and her brother are almost identical. Down to the facial movements. 3. I had my first lavendar latte and it was absolutely disgusting! Yours looked much better then mine. Do I need to order it a certain way then the basic Starbucks recipe?!
If a restaurants offers Brussels as an app that’s an automatic yes for me. As a side it gets sketchy sometimes (aka steamed😂) but always so so good when it’s an app.
Oh my gosh Jessica and her brother are TWINS
Came here to say that! They have the same laugh and mannerisms!
Came to say this too!! Even their voices are similar 😊
Yes!! I never noticed that before
Sitting here, folding laundry with my daughter who was born 3 days after Gigi watching a Braun video. I'm feelin Jessie vibes right now
I am folding laundry too! I love catching up with the Brauns, just like catching up with my friends!
The camera turns to Jessica’s brother and we all think, “Woah! It’s a boy version of her!” 😮😊😅
The lion sticking it’s tongue out like it knew it was being filmed made me 😂😂😂
I can't afford Disney trips, but I do love living vicariously through your disney vlogs! Can't wait for the Disneyland vlogs!
Same ❤
The Julian apple pie!!!! I approve. Love old town Temecula- such a cool spot.
Omg DelTaco!! A must!
I love how at the zoo, full of beautiful exotic animals, we get footage of the random duckie! I would have done the same thing! ❤😂 love you guys!!
Ms. Rachel is the soundtrack to my life right now too 😂
San Diego native here! My cousin lives in Julian. So fun watching this!

That close up of that HUGE LION, though! OMG that was spectacular! I had to pause and stare at it's gorgeous face!

It was fun to have seen you both drive by my hometown and the 57 fwy.
Love the burgundy eyeliner Jess is wearing! It brings out the green in her eyes . 💚
Thank you Tyler for sharing your trip 🚙 Loved seeing those beautiful giraffes, elephants, horses and the goats were adorable 🥰
Fries at Del Taco are quintessential Californian!
Next time you go to old town Temecula, you all need to try the Goat and Vine. Amazing food 🤤
I grew up in Orange County & we used to go to Julian regularly for day trips. Such an awesome, underrated place to visit in CA!
Omg! I used to love Del Taco yummy

There is a Del Taco in Florida near Universal. We always love stopping there when we’re in Orlando.

Next time y’all have del taco, make sure you mix ketchup with del scorcho. Just TRUST ME
Wow! That Temecula town is sooo beautiful and cute! How do you get there? What else is to do there? Is it a good city to vacation?
