To the rice cooker question: 100% use a rice cooker at least once a week if not more. Hands down my most used single use kitchen gadget.
Also you can use regular rice cooker for stuff other than plain white rice 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I'm Asian and I can't imagine not having a rice cooker! It can also be used to make porridge or steam dumplings! Recently I've also been trying "rice cooker recipes" where you dump all the ingredients in (sauce, meat, veg) with the rice and they all cook together :)

I’m a rice lover and I was anti-rice cooker. As a Latina I was raised to cook it on the stove, doing it any other way felt like cheating to me. lol My husband got me a rice cooker last year and it changed my life!!!! Sorry to disappoint mom… I’ve been converted 🤣🤣🤣
Every household in Hawaii has a rice cooker! It’s the only way - wash the rice, press the button, and go. So easy, and one of the most used kitchen gadget for sure! Get a Tiger rice cooker if you’re gonna get one!

Strange side-note: Every time you talk about going on a family trip, I get flashbacks of the Little Einsteins theme song in my head ( fond memories from when my daughter was a baby-she's almost 19, now!). I always enjoy your Costco visits, too. My first day here in the US, I purchased a 5 lb bag of Gummy Bears at Costco. Followed up by a burger and fries at Applebees. I also own and use a rice cooker, regularly.
I have this Japanese rice cooker and it’s only for rice and it’s amazing. I only cook rice using that and not on the stove anymore

I’ve never in my life cooked rice on the stove. I always had a cheap rice cooker but two Christmases ago we got a super nice rice cooker and i use that bad boy at least three times a week 😝

I use my rice cooker EVERY week. Sometimes multiple times. I LOVE it. Could not live without it. Totally worth it.
Yup I had a rice cooker that was almost 22 years old when it died and I got a new one a couple of months later because I use it all the time. Multicookers are still only good for cooking 1 thing at a time so when I want curry and rice I use the multi cooker for the curry and the rice cooker for the rice.
That sprechers root beer is the best root beer ever!!!
Oh I love grocery hauls from other countries! I just moved to Japan and love strolling around the supermarket too and finding new stuff 😊 I think grocery shopping in different countries gives great insight into what the country’s culture is like!

The splash pad is amazing and so easy to use. I bought a bunch last year for people and bought a back up last year and another this year 😂. You can’t beat $20 and the kids have a blast. If you add a kids slide to it it’s even more fun!

I love my rice cooker. It’s tiny but mighty and makes the rice perfectly
I have a zojirushi rice cooker that only does rice. I only use it a handful of time per year but that’s because we only eat rice that many times. Cooks rice better than any other option. Easy to clean, I wouldn’t declutter mine because it’s so convenient. If you have room for it or eat rice regularly, it is a great item to have!
Hahaha yes I absolutely have a rice cooker. I grew up with a lot of Filipinos who had rice every day, and it inspired me to get my own rice cooker! Love it so much🫶🏼
We have a rice cooker! My husband is a huge cooking nerd and swears that it is different than a multi-use appliance. We use it all the time.

I LOVE MY RICE COOKER it doesn’t take up a lot of room and cooks it perfectly every time. i use it probably 2-3 times a week for a couple years now.
Get the hiking poles! You will use them on hikes, especially any downhill steps. Saves on the knees

I wish Costco in Australia had the same sorts of products you get in the US. Our range is a lot smaller. Mind you, we're lucky to checkout under $200!
Yes, I love my Zojirushi rice cooker. It has different settings for different types of rice. I will never go back to class cooking it on the stove.
That frozen veggie blend you guys picked up is our favorite! We keep a bag or two in the freezer at all times, and when we need a quick dinner we stir-fry it with shrimp, coconut aminos, and red pepper flakes. SO good!
We got that same splash pad last year at Costco and even my 10 year old loved it! Good choice! I now I have to add the shorts to my list for next week!

Loved those individual chicken packs just as protein snack. Lifesaver when I had gestational diabetes. I live in milwauke...home of sprecher!!! Love their cherry cola, my husband loves their root beer and cream soda.
Coming back to say the that’s it bars and bobo’s oat bites are way good! Our daughter just younger than felicity loves them both! Sprecher root beer is amazing! If you want to try it in a smaller quantity, Menards has tons of their flavors in a smaller package.
I picked up a microwave rice cooker (I think the brand is Joseph) and we love it. It’s small and all components are 100% dishwasher safe. It took a couple runs to get the right power level and times right since all microwaves wattage vary. We use it often. 🍚😊
And that root beer is pretty dang good. My husband loves it.
I’ve been stalking my Costco’s to bring back the nonna pias balsamic glaze and wanna grab it thru my phone! So good!
We used to use our Instant Pot to make rice but someone gifted us a rice cooker so we gave it a try and we love it! However, if someone hadn't gifted it to us I dont think we would have bought one because our IP was good enough.

Justification for trekking poles: purchase as winter emergency equipment to store in your car. My pair saved me during an ice event. And - you have them if you decide to hike.

I say this with the utmost love & respect for you guys! I noticed the Evenflo seat in the back was not in a locked position. Even if there's not a child in it, it needs to be either locked forward or rear facing. I myself didn't know this til about a week ago.❤
I 100% use my rice cooker multiple times per week! It still has a place in our home even though our InstantPot can cook rice or we can cook it on the stove, I prefer to have my rice cooker then I can steam vegetables at the same time. I also often use both the InstantPot and rice cooker at the same time.
The Reduce cups are the best. My kids are 6 and 3.5 and they work fantastic. I just wish they had replaceable straws!

Rice cookers are amazing you don’t have to think about it and can be cooking their things. Rice turns out perfect and fluffy and non stick pot and easy to clean

We got the ATK recommended rice cooker (pricy 🤑 even for the best buy) and I thought that it would be a total waste, but oh man we love it! We use all the time and cook rice waaaay more than we did before. It comes out perfect and fluffy every time 🤗

We have a Japanese rice cooker that is just for rice and it’s amazing! Use it multiple times a week. Rice comes out so perfect each time. We are a big rice household.
We have a rice cooker going every other day and we absolutely love it. We are actually on our second one. It's fantastic for meal prepping lunches. Also that's Costco is so empty!!!! Being in a empty Costco is my dream 😍
I love my rice cooker! It’s honestly my most prized kitchen appliance, seriously can never go back to cooking rice on the stove. (They also make for wonderful secret Santa gifts!)
I use a rice cooker almost everyday! And it’s just a basic $30 rice cooker from Walmart. It is my second most used appliance next to my air fryer. It came with a lil basket to steam veg while you cooked the rice too.

Had a rice cooker but got rid of it before our baby came a few years ago. Loved that it had vegetable steamer tray but stopped eating rice years ago. We just didn't have the space and hadn't used it in years.

My mom got me a rice cooker sophomore year of college…5 years later I still have it and use it at least twice a week! So easy and perfect rice every time. I hate having tons of kitchen appliances but the rice cooker lives on 😂

I’m Asian American and I have a rice cooker and it lives on my counter at all times and never gets put away! I can also make brown rice and quinoa in it which is great and I don’t have to monitor it on the stove
