Something snapped Loudly when I was using my GE Microwave Monogram Built-In Advantium Oven ZSC2201J1SS and now the door is so heavy to open and close but the unit and microwave works well. So do I need to replace the entire door? GE didn’t have the spring latches and Sears told me to simply buy a “latch”. Not sure if it fits my unit need your advice, Amer - What is the best way? Just buy a replacement door? Thanks again!!🙏🏻
Glad it helped! My research indicated that there is no other way to fix it than to replace the entire door. This is ridiculous but the only option. If you find another option, please do share as this door will break again, not if, but when.

You can get the door off by just pulling up on it without the tool
