    thanks for your informative video. Am really curious to know how you manage to wash you hair every week. Reading thru the comments I see a lot of ladies do this. during these weekly wash do you go thru the full process of detangling/pre-pooing, washing and then moisturizing? from here I know you deep condition only when you sham wash. For now I have a-after 3week sham wash and two week co-wash. I deep condition in both cases. I try to co-wash my daughter's hair every two weeks and then sham wash after 3 co-washes. for now I might not consider the weekly wash cause i find wash days hectic. am just curious to know how it works for you. don't mind my long ranting.

    • @DiscoveringNatural
      @DiscoveringNatural  7 лет назад

      +Tolu E When I wash my hair weekly, this is what I do:
      - Detangle
      -Shampoo
      - Deep condition
      - Moisturize
      - Style in twists or braids for stretching and so styling the next day
      It takes me about an hour and a half to 2 hours.
      End of the month is longer, when I do other things. The state of my hair and my hair needs determines how much I do to my hair.

      When it comes to products, understanding what the ingredients do is what is important. Shampoo is great for cleansing the scalp. Knowing the type of shampoo is necessary. Here are the types: bit.ly/DN_Best_Shampoo_For_Hair
      Deep conditioning is great for your hair because it helps with the moisture and the softness. Here is a transitioning regimen you can use: bit.ly/DN_Transitioning_To_Natursl_Hair_Regimen

      +Pam Bih It depends on the hair needs. If you feel the hair needs extra help with moisture, deep conditioning can be helpful. If you can find deep conditioner with not too much chemicals, give it a try. Sheamoisture is one that I used on my kids hair

    Can you deep condition without shampooing?

      I have never done it or known of anyone who did it. To me, doing it is like not taking a bath and putting on body lotion. You could cowash if you are looking for the moisturizing properties that deep conditioner give. Here are some cowash recommendations amzn.to/2MwxeEp

      @@reek2hate939 I actually made my own conditioner from rice +banana+onion +honey +olive oil. Results was so amazing and I think I'm going to be using that from now on wards.....last month I had protective styles on my hair and I was washing it 2twice aweek and using Normal conditioner but it messed up my hair however after using my own home made conditioner I'm admiring my hair Haha. Very soft and manageable.
