    There is another beach town about 1 and 1/2 hr frm kl, Sepang, this is where bagan lalang Beach is situated, nearby there is morib beach and Kelanang beach... But most of us prefer PD as its seabed is sandy, while the other are more muddy...
    Ps. FYI there's a small village by the beach not far from PD called Kuala Linggi, the beach is less hectic.
    There are a few mow places I'd like to suggest... Pulau Ketam (small Chinese fishing village), Pulau Carey (visit the MahMeri (an indigenous tribe) Cultural Village).... The Jeram-Kuala Selangor- Tanjung Karang-Sekinchan-Sg Besar stretch for historical sites, seafood, blue tears, fireflies and sky mirror also for their paddy fields..
    You can also go to Pangkor Island

    omg....omg... pd is not more than 2hrs trip from kl, even if u use public transport. heres my pro tip. you can take a bus from the PUDU BUS TERMINAL. TO seremban terminal 1 bus station. the pudu bus terminal is righ opposite the menara maybank building. the building is also called as UTC PUDU. its very close from chinatown and ancasa hotel. once u reached seremban terminal 1 bus terminal, just go over to the platform that has buses going to pd. you can also get the tickets from the counters there. travel from kl to sban is about 1hr plus. the travel from sban to pd is about 40nin. so like i said its less than 2hrs away. if youre driving its more faster.

    Thanks Damian. Nice that you show other places in Malaysia and now the local beaches. I guess not many people swim in the ocean there. But there is a swimming dress that Muslim women can wear where the hair, arms and legs are covered it is called Burkini. When I was in India and then South Kerala, they are Hindus mosly down there, so you could wear a bikini or swimsuit for women. But when you were at a local beach further up, you could wear a T-shirt and long pants. Indian women bathed in their Saris or in Punjabi (that is like a knee long frock and trousers.)
    And in Tunisia we had swimsuits on the beach. They are Sunni Muslims. This was in the 90s do not know how it is today.

    • @TheMonkeys
      @TheMonkeys  2 года назад

      Yes that’s part of local culture, here and in many other countries. Outside Bali is the same actually

    • @ld-n1648
      @ld-n1648 2 года назад +2

      @Rita *BaliRita* Sund Malaysia is a multi racial/multi cultural & multi faith nation. It’s locals are actually very diverse, so you can see many different types of people in its society. As an example, Malaysian Borneo or East Malaysia’s people is a more non-muslim majority society.

    Good Morning, thanks for your videos. I’m going to come to KL next August.
    I’ve seen right now this video and I’m curios about the fact that they don’t wear any swimsuit as we are get used to seeing at the beach. Why? It’s forbidden? Thanks and I hope to meet you walking around KLCC.

      Malaysia is a Muslim majority country. You won't see a Muslim woman wearing half naked in public or even other faith such Hindus and Buddhism people also know how to dress appropriately in public and of course it is forbidden and it seem tourist also know how to respect the local culture and faith.
