I'm glad i wasn't the only one to notice that Rika's first strike is basically her using a blue truth, if satoko's energy was red instead of green we would have an entire reference. Also, her blue truth turns into a golden truth once the sword is combined once more

@@simon2493 Eua being Featherine or not aside, different gameboards have different rules. Heck, Featherine doesn't even have any influence in "Umineko"'s creation. In terms of games, the original Higurashi was a game of Shogi (looking at the Syndrome)/Old Maid (official comparison). I certainly don't know how to call the "game" of Gou/Sotsu, but, mind you, you can't use the differences in rulesets to discard the identities of parties involved. Heck, you're comparing Higurashi Magic with *on-gameboard-Beatrice-Magic*. The rules applied inside Umineko's chessboard are not the same as the magic that happens in the library, which is devoid of any rules and is just pure power-creep spectacle. As far as the story has developed, both Bern and Lambdadelta have been born by the end of Sotsu. They're practically inmortal (as they say) so their souls will eventually wander off since they can travel between fragments, and finally end up in Umineko. Satoko/Lamdbadelta's logic error is yet to happen of course, but there is no indication whatsoever that they're not the same "witch". Although I do think Eua is Featherine (or will take up that name eventually), what is actually interesting here is that she *knows* Satoko, and recognizes her as THE 34, dropping names of both Takanofaces in Ciconia... In fact, one of those two Takanofaces (Vier in specific, since she seems to adress her as such first) called her Eua first. Which opens questions about the place of Ciconia in all of this.
This almost singlehandedly redeems the entire scene. Now imagine how good it could have gotten if the cards were played right and you had Miragecoordinator and The Executioner playing at strategic times in the background.

I watch umineko after watch all series of higurashi, i dont get the reference thougt + the umineko anime is very boring, not as intresting as higurashi
The anime is a disgrace to the Visual Novel and should be watched only after you've read the Umineko VN or even manga just to see how attrociously bad it is. Red Truth *Umineko Anime doesn't exist*

Nah I don't think it was intentional xD Higurashi seems to work on different principals than umineko

It's settled, Umineko OST can make any scene look cooler.
This is pretty much an AoT op level meme now.
now every time i look at rika and satoko i will remember bernkastel and lambdadelta
That is because both of them BECAME Bernkastel and Lambdadelta.
This scene with this song is so good. Honestly Makes the anime great lol, since I can't imagine this scene without this song.
I always keep returning to this video because of how hype it is, this is truly how this scene should have played out
I knew this was going to happen and I'm living for it.
DAME DA!!! ZEN ZEN DAME DA!!!
This is intense. 😃
It fits so well 😭😭😭😭
Nice try but I still don't believe in witches.
without love it cannot be seen😉

Then how do you explain the bridge breaking apart with a ground explosion? Only witches could do that. 😼
