Millis Construction so I have the 3/8 version of that ratchet. Mine has an issue with the lock not staying locked when I use it like a screwdriver. Do you have that issue with the 1/4in ratchet as well?
thanks, man. i haven't heard anyone use the word deal like that since i left Texas over 50 years ago. i have been going nuts trying to loosen a faucet nut within a confined space where i can't even get a basin wrench to fit around it so i'll have to see how thick the walls are on this tool and i'll also check out the Wera Zyklop.
The ridged faucet tool is nice too. Just picked this basin buddy up for really tight places. If you haven't used it try it, I find myself using more to shut water off to toilets more than changing faucets.
I’ve split those nuts with drill bit and a flathead, hacksaw, and a nutcracker tool. 1/4 drive as well. In a pinch for those tough nuts. My ridged basins wrench can hook up to a ratchet as well. But I like that setup. I also have those ridged faucet insulation tools, but they flex to much for me.
That looks really useful! When those plastic nuts are large and in tight spots, they are a PAIN to get off! Sometimes I wind up using a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to tap them loose. I might check that out!
Thanks so much for this! Brilliant! The space I'm working in is very tight and i'm not even sure the basin buddy will fit in it. What is the diameter of the Basin Buddy? I'm working on a kitchen sink btw, not a bathroom sink.
Here is an affiliate link to the Wera Zyklop amzn.to/2MdyBdf

Tyler Felix I haven’t had that happen to me yet.
Using the correct tools for the job is worth every penny.

Now if I only had this 2 days ago. I think this is perfect. I do my own work and this is the perfect tool.
