Thanks for the tour and update on the trees. Everything is looking good. I live in zone 10a and I have to say that your trees are way ahead of mine which I've kept outdoors year round. I have lots of smaller figlets, but nothing as mature/large as what's on your trees. I do have a few large breba, but all main crop figs are small for now. From the looks of things, you're going to have a very nice crop of figs this season. Thanks again!
In the beginning of the shade tunnel, there is a dark greek and a preto. I see possible sun scalded leaves, which one are they on? Such a beautiful sight to see all those productive healthy trees with fruit!
Yes, I added that Dark Greek later, and got sun scalded, shade cloth didn't cover completely the entrance. It takes short time for them to get burned, especially if not watered well, I think that adds to the damage.
Hello, What percentage shade cloth are you using in your shade house and do you intend on leaving them under shade all year or will you move them to full sun for full benefit?
I had to check to make sure, this is a 40% shade cloth ( I think that in one of the prior videos I wrongly stated 60%). However, I have a huge silver maple tree and a neighbor house that create shade in the afternoon. Make sure that your shade % is enough, every location is different. I will keep them under shade for maybe two more weeks, then relocate on the open orange ground cover area.
Best of luck: I sunburned two of my trees badly by moving them into sunlight too quickly. They are only just now regrowing new leaves although I was lucky and they didn't drop their figs.
Such a beautiful video! 👍❤️👏
Thank you much!
So beautiful ❤ this year could be my last one. I’ve been getting to stressed out over them. God bless your babies!
Reducing the number of trees could reduce stress.
@@backyardfigs I only have 3 . Lol

Thanks, wishing you a great season!
Your figs are way ahead of mine in France in zone 8 B. It's always fun to watch your videos.

In redible stock of figs you have there. I'm wondering in what country or state you have those amazing fruits?
Thank you. I live in Michigan, Detroit suburb. Zone 6b.

I learned my lesson last few seasons not to rush with transition.
