Can you be more specific on what's wild? What's wild to me is that it kind of looks like the stick is on his finger tips. I really don't know how to explain it other than I know some people on Boston snare line in 2012 did that too. I've never seen a quad layer hold sticks like that if he is holding them on his finger tips
@@Portable47 so basically the entire idea (or the way I like to explain it) is that you approach the movement of the stick like that of a concert snare drum, so basically putting the weight of most of the stick on your middle finger, letting you disregard the index finger entirely (once you get used to it). This allows you to drop the stick further down into your hand and let it bounce more loosely, creating a minimal amount of pressure on the stick and letting it travel more, the Mandarins are also a good example of this, if you go and look at their 2019 drumline.
Awesome video! Great beats. Loved this line from the start and thought y’all should’ve gotten more love throughout the season. That 3rd place on Finals night had to feel good.
I've been trying to mind control a corp into Bjork since I first heard Selmasongs. I don't know how New World isn't in here but it's probably as close as I'll get. And also based asf.
Just go into it not stressing and play confidently. Make sure you do everything your supposed to like mark time and stuff and make sure ur grip and stick height looks good. Hope this helps a little and good luck
4:39 that has to be the craziest east coast vocal I’ve ever heard
Bro just yelled. His voice was, like, five octaves deeper than it was at the beginning! 🤣

Ayo i love this guy! thanks for watching our lot mid season ;)
Technique is wild it just looks like nothing but fulcrum
Most efficient method of beating the hell out of a drum, specifically useful for marching Carolina crown lol

@@yungtwizyes bro, its all about the middle finger in drumming. IMO the pointer finger fulcrum is outdated and dying!
Looks fine to me
Oh hell yeah
