Can I do this to find out why my car will not start
Hi I have a question could you help me? I have a 2005 530d the dash says I have a puncture but there all fine and I also have the airbag/seat belt restriction warning on. Is this just a matter of it being switched off by a main dealer? I'd just like to have a idea of what I'm talking about. Regards Jason
There run flat Tyres by the way. Thanks
Check (and adjust if needed) pressure in every tire. Then, with engine ON and when stationary, use the left stalk to navigate through the board computer. Somewhere over there you'll find pressure monitoring reset. Most likely you can also do it with the through the iDrive navigation screen.
Will this reset my car ?
no.
Is there a list of what all the channels do? i know 7 displays engine coolant temp,
2. Is gauge and lighting self test
Dont know anymore than that though

What is the symbol in the middle with the car? Is that function available in the E60 model?
Adaptive cruise control. There's a radar installed at the front which controls distance to the next vehicle to adjust your speed and keep safe distance at all times.
mr-fix wow, thats awesome. Didnt know we had that function. Thx for the super quick reply!
There's a lot of options available for E60. Best if you download the users guide and look through it check for every button that is not installed in your car. That's what I do when buying used vehicle to avoid the "full option" scams :)
mr-fix where I can download the manual please
If i screw this process up first time around, will my engine/computer fail/misfire? Is there no risk or worth the risk? Thx
no risks to your engine.
At worst you will need to set your clock.
Wish I can own a Beemer...
Hello,do you maybe know how to delete warning light, particle filter?
That light comes up when your DPF is full or it reached its mileage limit.
Soon I'll be making video about DPF faults and regeneration, so please subscribe and not miss it.
Thx for reply, already subscribed, can't wait for next video :)))
Can someone please tell me what the lines are for that come into view where the redline is when ignition is on?
You red zone is dynamic. When engine is really cold those lines will extend your rev limit zone.
