Thank you so much for simplifying this for me! I’ve been wanting to make a junk journal for each of my kids, from birth to now. I have Early Onset Alzheimer’s and now is the time to do it before I lose those memories too! I really, really appreciate how you simplified it and had the emphasis on not thinking to much about each signature! Thanks again from a grateful Mom!

Alzheimer's can be caused by many things including diet, what you drink. Sugar. Sweetners, no social life. When you sleep late? , stressing out n not managing STRESS.
      This can be REVERSED by
Going for walks, reading out loud, writing and reading each day, managing STRESS, hobby, swimming/ crafting/ fishing/, learning something new like a language, new recipe, Word search, puzzles, sudoku, exercise, gardening, reduce sugar, No fizzy drinks, drinking water. STOP alcohol as this dehydrated the body which cause strokes.
      * walking backwards.
      * sleep is important- try to sleep early like 9- 9:30pm.
      * how old are you please? - youngsters are getting memory problems aswell so not to worry.
      *******
Memory problems can happen durring grieving/ pre menopausal years as ma have 2 periods in 1 month- so eating iron ferritin rich foods as important.
      * do you live with or without an understanding partner?
      *

Too be honest with myself here lol. I really don’t like all the bought and pre made items they make everyone’s look way too much a like. I much prefer finding a new way of looking at something that you see every day and it just so hit that person to include it. It really makes their journal their own.I’m new as far as actually binding my own book (working out which processes I’m really finding feasibility for at the moment. Fixed income and all.

I love this journal. I think that sewing around your cover is absolutely the way to go. I've been sewing since I was young. My mom started me by teaching me to make my dolls clothes. I was in the 4th grade. 😊😊
When I started making journals I had no idea what to do. That was when I discovered RUclips. Wow ! I fell in love with it. it's been a ride ever since. RUclips has become my life. I've learned so much. I've come so far now that I don't care ifsome of my pages stick out beyond the cover. That's why God made lace and ruffles lol

You also speak clearly which is great, some speak so fast like they are in a race. You have a great idea of putting in an envelope in the middle of the signatures so that you can hide the threads after you tie them. Genius. 😊

AMAZING! I must admit that it was a little bittersweet watching you piece together your signatures & ephemera with both Tim Holtz Ideology goodies as well as so many $ Tree items from crafters square because I live in Louisiana and lost nearly 8 years of Junk Journal supplies to Hurricane Ida. I can tell that you too have been collecting for quite some time and the way you brought together $ Tree items that I no longer see in my stores here and Tim Holtz’s paper pack, paper dolls & other ephemera all is stunning! It just makes me miss my own stash. I keep telling myself that I didn’t have a room filled with so much awesomeness overnight and it won’t be that way now, but at some point I’ll slowing start to re-buy my favorite items and I now can look forward to finding new treasures! Anyway, I LOVED your creativity and I’ve saved your video to my “JJ Inspiration” playlist!! Thanks for sharing!

I feel you & I'm sorry to hear all u lost in the hurricane. I lost a lot of my precious memories from my daughter when she was a baby & crafting to a massive basement flood at my father's house during a storm. But we have our lives & new memories to build from💕 best wishes & fun collecting new items.

Then you know the heartbreak. This was my 2nd go around after having 8ft of water for Katrina, but I wasn’t a crafter then. I did lose a lot of sentimental items though, namely pictures and handwritten journals I had kept from when I was kid. It really, really stinks! I don’t even want to live on the Gulf Coast anymore, but truth be told no place in the US is safe from natural disasters. Everywhere has the potential for some threat. So I’ll just rebuild. That’s what us New Orleanians are good at as long as we have a cocktail in our hands! 😉❤

Oh Ashly, that is devastating, I'm so sorry you went through that and lost your treasures 💔😢 I send you positive energy and virtual hugs from the west coast and hope things get better for you and can build an even better collection than before. 🦋

Thank you so much for taking the time and care to explain things so thoroughly. I have watched SEVERAL tutorials but it wasn’t until watching THIS one that I finally got a complete understanding of what Junk Journaling is and can be.

Wow! That was mesmerizing and so informative. I actually think I might be able to do that. 😝. My daughter will be a senior next year and I would
Love to make a theme one for that journey. Thanks.

Hi Wendy!! I'm so happy you put this video out!! Back in the day I used to craft a lot, I made & sell the puffy photo albums, decorate sweatshirts & t-shirts with fabric & fabric paint. It was the in thing in the early 90s😳 last time I did major crafting was for my daughter's sweet 15. She's now 33 married with my 1st granddaughter 💕 I'm an early retiree🥰 I'm looking forward getting back into crafting again. U R 1 of my favorite utubers & I started with u due to a DT haul little I knew you crafted as well!! Talk about a win win 🏆 I really want to make my granddaughter keepsake journals like I did for both my kids. I've been gathering supplies & have all I need to start🤗🤗🤗🤗 THANK YOU! LUV ALL UR CONTENT💕💕
