Yo anthony bro don’t make a mountain out of a molehill, just put a small piece of red vinyl over the S and use an exacto knife to cut out the S shape and ship it! The badge looks dope but does look kinda orange!
I’m glad to see more rsx content back in December 2022 I bought my first rsx but was sadly totaled in an accident but just today as a matter of fact I picked up a single owner vivid blue type s and can’t wait to get back into a type s thanks for inspiring me to pursue one of the best chassis I could ever drive 😁
1000% stay "RSX-S" looks so much cleaner. I would also get rid of the Honda Badges and go back to Acura badges. My argument there when I had my Type S was everyone always does the "red H" badges... it's almost over played at that point.... but, in that same line lol my 06 TSX is fully Honda Accord badged. Lol soooooo lol

Quick tip for installing the tabs for the window visor, put them in the weather strip first and line them up with the holes, that why you can still move them if they are off a bit. Then you mount the visor and the clips.

My opinion is with going JDM, as you have with the spoiler and Honda badges.. it’s only proper to use the OEM JDM badging.. it’s how Honda wanted it in the first place.. or just take your usdm RSX badge off.. better debadged than mismatched

I would love to see the Acura and RSX badges stay. If you do convert to Honda Integra badges, it should match all the way around with the key and fob, airbag cover, etc.
I have a set for my RSX for maybe $100. They’re in OK condition. I hoarded so many parts for my RSX prior to COVID, but wish I got everything I wanted, wish I got better condition parts. Great pick up!
When it comes down to the rear badge, It really is a hard choice. If i'd want purity, i'd go with the JDM badge. If i'd want neatness, i'd go with the RSX badge. I kinda want both, but my inner purist is kinda leaning towards the JDM badge for the sake of keeping things as lined up as possible in stead of it being a mix of 2 things. If that makes any sense... I really suck at explaining things.
If it were me. I’d take a little dremel and modify it by cutting the badges so that way you can keep the color but have kind of a custom one off emblem.
i actually like the weathertech rain guards more. THey don't overlap onto the b pililar. Has a cleaner look. And they slip into the window gap and stay in place. No tape or clips needed.

I think the jdm type s badge looks good on certain colors. But since you do have the black and red theme…the stock rsx type s in red looks good. I did both the front and rear jdm type s badges and left the Acura on the left for a homage to the “new” Acura type s line, but iykyk type of thing.
the type S badge they made for the front grill would fit better than changing rsx badge . on my dc5 the rsx logo was removed so i put the type S and i love it .

I've went through a ton of RSX-type S's and I've finally found one that is stock. It has a pretty perfect interior and exterior with 147k miles and has had recent work done on it such as a new clutch and valve cover gaskets. In the video where you talk about buying and going through the process of obtaining the car, you said that you asked the seller a list of questions. If possible, would you be able to tell me all the questions that you asked her? I would really appreciate it as it would be very helpful for me, thank you. Also I hope you continue to feel better and your recovery is quick and painless!
I’ve never seen a HFB(Honda Fan Boy) this much into Honda’s. I almost wonder if you weren’t alive during then 90’s-Early 2000’s, when JDM was cool. You probably always looked up to JDM Honda and never got one until now.
I know it is unpopular opinion as people would bash about up-badging, but the actual Type R badge would also be an option... Thought process is, -there is no Honda RSX, so Integra badge is needed -Just Type S badge is not the best option since its orange -The appearance of your DC5 is pretty close to a Type R anyway Or, like many others said, make the S red. At the end of the day, it's your car, and its not finish yet, so there's always time to refine and exceed what a Type R would be.
oem vs type s badge. i have a suggestion, why not find someone whos good with airbrush, paint the Type S logo with the desired red hue and colour. I saw some people do that on a different car and it looks sick as hell. do both for the Acura and the Type S badging.
I agree that the S on the back badge is a little orangey, but if it were me, I would get some enamel paint that matches and paint the S. Practice on something similar first and get used to how the paint lays on.
Acura Rsx > Honda Integra, hate honda badges on acuras personally. A chrome " A" looks so much better than the "H", regardless of Jdmness😂. Those window visors are mint🤟.

I grew up loving the RSX’s, not the Integra. That’s why when I put the red Honda Badges on mine, I didn’t take off the RSX badge.
I saw for the rear badge get red vinyl wrap & cut it out over the “S” logo.

Keep the OEM badges. Make sure you ceramic coat those visors. They fade easily in the sun.

Antony, I know the theme you’re going for but is best just to leave the acura type S and put back all the Acura emblems. It’s a USDM real Type S

If your doing it as a honda I'd do the type s badge and swap to the honda tail lights
Take the badge out and confirm if lighting shows it as orange. If it shows orange, i would not use it.
Unless you switch the Honda badges to the regular silver I wouldn’t install the orange ones.
