Right after I finished watching the spotlight loool I suspect part of why Alpharad specifically is showcasing Ember is because he has a tweet asking people to hear him out about Ember in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2. Maybe the forward air thing too, though he's largely ditched that joke for a while now so probably not that primarily. For a Green parrot it's a tough choice deciding which alt to use for her lol. Leaning pirate but Green's also my favourite colour so like, tough choice tough choice
Yeah, Alpharad's a fan of hers, it's so sweet she got in and he got to voice the spotlight! The forward air actually seems directly from a Danny Phantom game, Urban Jungle on the DS! You can see in KinglyNerd's video on the references in Ember's reveal, the sprites match up to the animation real well! And aw, that does sound tough! But hey, no rule against switching between the two every once in a while, play both!

Plus, hey, if people aren't allowed to use the same alt then that means that in 1v1s there'll always be an Ember alt that I really like! ...And if you CAN use the same alt then they probably would have alternate colours which would imply the existence of a green pirate alt, which would be a great time!@@SonsaKay

We haven't seen them yet, so I can only guess "probably not" but maybe they'll appear in the game as a profile picture or something cute like that, and with enough fan demand or time and resources, they could come back as fighters in a future update! Just guessing, but yeah!
