Also if they added the other plankton who was a female and had a turquoise-cyan color who shot lazers.
As cool as that would be that’d mean they’d have to get a completely new voice actor to record lines for not just normal gameplay but also all the alternate dialogue in the campaign mode which while doable probably wasn’t really in the budget.

Really wierd that rocko doesn't have it as I think that was his alt in the first game, could've had it alongside the big hat or just instead of the big hat

I can’t tell if they couldn’t think of many costumes or just really thought it would be funny to have incredibly odd deep cuts
or it was some weird limitations from Nick/Viacom like in the first game

Fun fact: Danny Phantom's Default Costume is a reference itself. It's a refence to Season 2 Episode 1 Memory Blank since back in season 1 he never had the logo. When Sam wished she never met Danny, Desiree granted her wish and Danny lost his powers since it was Sam's idea to make him go in the faulty Fenton portal in the first place. She then think of a way to regain Danny's power by reenacting the moment again. This time slapping the New logo she made for him and thus the Default Costume was born.

I always imagined all four turtles being in the sequel with four alternate costumes representing each animated series iteration. The default one being the 87 turtles, a second one for the 2003 turtles, 2012 for the third, and Rise for the fourth. If you wanted to go further with eight like in Smash, you can add the original black and white comic, 2007, Mutant Mayhem, and whatever eighth one you want.
It’d be hard to squish each variation of the turtles into fitting the mold of the original/cartoon ones (just compare the various Raphs for size and design alone) but them being able to switch out series depictions would also be rather interesting too!

Honestly wished Ember got some original costumes instead of recolors because the reference to Pirate Radio was so cool!! Also wished Super Danny from Identity Crisis and Danny in the Fenton jumpsuit also from Pirate Radio where costumes for Danny but I do like the ones picked for him!!

How cool would it be to give the characters alternates based on their older art styles? Characters like SpongeBob, Reptar, etc have fairly drastic differences when you look at their first episode appearances and their most recent appearances.

I'm pretty sure spongebob and Patrick dress up as mermaid man and barnacle boy on multiple occasions
yeah as the vid said they first did in the 1st and 3rd mermaid man & barnacle boy eps (+ comics) but their costumes didn't look like that. same goes for the ep "shuffleboarding"; "mermaid pants" is where those particular costume designs come from, and they kept them in other eps like "man ray returns"

A Black tuxedo: From the Season 9 episode, Married to Money.
A blue sweatshirt: His coach outfit from the Season 2 Episode, The Fry Cook Games. (The same origin as the Bun Wrestling Arena stage.)
Captain Tightwad: Like the outfits for Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy for SpongeBob & Patrick, this also comes from the Mermaid Pants episode from Season 10.
I think we missed a huge opportunity for some Rise of TMNT. The new powers and amazing animation would have made it so hype for the game. Hopefully they come in later.

Aangs costume 2 is based on his Season 3 appearance and his costume 4 is based on the Comics. You can tell from the pants and boots, where in Costume 2 and 3 he is using the pants he stole while in the FireNation after his regular Airbender robes were greatly damaged during the Season 2 finale. While in the comics he gets new pants that are closer to his old Airbender pants, and keeps wearing the half poncho thing. You can tell because the colors are different on the robes in Season 3 of the show and the Comics.
Rugrats in Paris is my favorite Rugrats movie.

I dress up Garfield for this year Halloween
it would’ve been so cool if they gave SpongeBob his red shorts as a costume from his beach outfit, most notably from the ripped my pants episode.
Gerald needs a strawberry costume as DLC
For El Tigre, more specifically his second costume comes from the bad ending of The Good The Bad and The Tigre, which is not the ending that actually happens in the episode. Back when the episode was announced, there was a poll taken on Nickelodeon's website that had the audience decide if the episode should have the Good ending or Bad ending. Only the Bad ending has El Tigre steal the items of power from his dad and grandpapi. The costume could also just generally reference the amount of times he's stolen the items during the course of the show, although not both at once.

Hello, I'm back to talk about Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
His default costume is his main outfit and hairstyle from Book 3: Fire.
His first alternate costume is his original outfit and hairstyle from Book 1: Water, back when he was a bad guy trying to regain the Fire Nation's honor from the Fire Lord, and his father, Ozai.
His second alternate costume is based on his Blue Spirit persona.
And his last alternate costume makes him look a ninja. This outfit is from the Book 3: Fire episode, The Southern Raiders.

Near the end of the episode, Patrick-Man suspects an innocent old lady of being a criminal and shockingly rips her head off. What’s even more shocking is that he was right, as The Dirty Bubble emerges from what truly WAS a disguise.

More than just that, Paramount owns Nickelodeon lol. Come to think of it, I'm now waiting for the Ninja Turtles to somehow appear in Star Trek: Lower Decks.
Course I'm also waiting for Nick to greenlight the next season of Glitch Techs and Star Trek Prodigy was put on an unofficial indefinite hiatus after the first season ended December last year (it was split into two parts too, with the first part being in December 2021) and removed from P+ even though the second season is apparently still in the works and the future of Lower Decks is apparently even less clear with Season 5 having been ordered but the production crew habing no clue what will come after.

The Spongebob Speedster costume isnt a pre-order bonus, you can get it as a bonus in the season pass.
Didn’t the Mermaidman, and Barnacleboy costumes debuted in the first episode that introduced Mermaidman & Barnacleboy?
Yes and no. Spongebob didn't have the hair and Patrick didn't have the nose.
They definitely dress as them in that first episode, but the designs for the NASB2 costumes are closer to the later episode and comic.

I tgink its really cool that El Tigre got in the game. I dont remember it being a very popular show, so its cool to see him here.
Damn already it feels like it’s only been 3 months since the first one. I don’t even own the game but damn this was quick.
the fourth Raphael costume is probably his color scheme from the comics (not the Mirage ones, talking about the ones that tied in closer to the TV show of the time) - different sources of turtles media even back in the 80s and 90s had differing designs and each turtle had different skin coloration in some of them, if you ever play the SNES version of Turtles In Time you can actually see a special option to change to those colorations for the turtles.
Plus the lab coat makes zim look like dib

It made sense not to include the aura and clone costumes for each character. They don’t have a reference inside them. They just serve as a rewards for beating each character’s clone and themselves.
