Good Morning. I got that problem but I'm using a carburator on my Mk3 jetta
One thing our guy forgot to mention is vales, your intake valves can be the issue if youe valve is not closing proply or at all
I tried changing the head gasket and overhauled the engine but still having the same problem.. I'm running on a carburetor tazz 1.3 with 2E engine
While replacing gasket, is it necessary to put rings in the engine

Actually I am having the same issues my second and third spark plugs are wet with gasoline, I told the Machanic is a blown gasket and he’s saying that he believe is a rings…I am pretty sure now it’s my gasket because cylinders two and three has park on the plug and wires but the plugs are wet….
How about piston rings not allowing compression thus no combustion resulting in the wet plugs and fuel diluted engine oil?

I have 4 out of 8 plugs keep turning black with a shine to them after I replace those 4 ..Happens about 2 miles after driving my car ..It's a 496 stroker in. a 1964 Impala with a Edlebrock 800 ..The motor maybe has 100 miles on it..My friends says if the car runs good keep driving it to break in the rings ..The rest of the plugs are perfect
Hello my name is Leo my truck sort of overheated and turned off completely it cranks and all but it won't start I took some of the spark plugs off and they where moist we took the valve covers and it looked good no water not even on the dipstick

I have fuel behind the spark plug between the plug and the coil! I think its due to a failed coilpack. Do I need to drain out the cylinder after removing the spark plug before replacing the plug and the coilpack?
Once there is spark it usually will burn off.

@@HVAC_Mechanic it worked. Just put paper down to suck up all the petrol and then dropped the new coil pack in and it started ticking straight away. New plugs going in with an oil change this evening :)
What is a coil pack and how much $
