    I really like this device but it is out of my price range. Maybe u can test in the Future the Unitop u trainer. It’s under 1000$ and has most of the functions of the gym monster but I have concerns about durability

    Can you have it in your room? have much the equipment weight? just want to check if i should have in the 1st floor in my room.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  8 месяцев назад

      Both options should fit in your room. Just make sure you have at least 4 feet of space to lay down the platform if using the Speediance Gym Monster. The extra equipment is light and not hard to move around (might just be a little bulky, but accessories aren't very heavy). Gym Monster itself is heavy to pick up but can be wheeled around. The Gym Pal can be picked up, but slightly awkward to carry (but I have moved it by picking it up multiple times).

    I’d really like to know your thoughts on the oxefit xs1 compared to this. I took your recommendation about the renphro bike.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад

      I have the Oxefit as something to look into, but it is REALLY expensive and I think they have a membership as well which I hate. It does take up a lot more space as well. However, if you have the space, funds, and want something that appears to be really well constructed, I think it looks like a great option.

      Since getting it 6 months ago, I've only charged it 3 times. So IMO very good. It never fully ran out on me, I just got scared it might give out one day while I was using the device so I decided after a month or so to do the first one, then every couple months from there. Since I only workout 3 days a week for about 30 minutes it isn't a ton of time using it each week.

    Can you share membership between the devices if you have a lifetime membership? Or will you need individual membership for each device?

    • @GamerBody

      My wife also has an account and since it is connected to the device, she has the membership with it as well. I'm not 100% sure since mine was a review item, so make sure to confirm with support first how those lifetime memberships carry over.

    Thanks for the video! How do you feel about the max weight allowed on the gym monster? I can currently bench 185 and I'd like to go north of 200, I'm concerned that I'll max out the machine but I've heard that digital weights can feel slightly heavier?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +1

      I can bench about 225 (my max ever was 255 when I used to go to gyms a long time ago) and I am only able to get to about a max of 180 on the Speediance. It is a lot harder as you can't use momentum to aid you in the lift. All of my lifts are "less" on the Speediance, but it is a lot harder than free weights from my experience.

    Hi @GamerBody, thanks for all the great content.... Have you tried using the Iron Master bench (not sure you have one anymore) on the Speediance, or any other bench? I have been looking at buying a Speediance, but dont like the seeming lack of quality of their adjustable bench, and most other decent bench's look to be too long to fit on the Speediance platform. Thanks.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +1

      Not really, but I may looks into it. I only have the Flybird as a separate bench right now. I just use the flat bench the Speediance has as it works for what I need right now, and isn't sold separately for $300 (as of right now).

    Finally got my gym pal after preordering in June. It is a fantastic device, but I got it for 1070. It's a harder sell at the current price. I agree, if the gym pall is 2k, then it is well worth the extra money for the gym monster

    Hope you can try the INNODIGYM P1 PRO smart gym and review it's pro and cons vs SPEEDIANCE GYM PAL. Thank you

  • @87togabito
    @87togabito Год назад

    The biggest problem isn’t the price range imo, it’s the weight limitation. It’s only 1-2k tbh which isn’t a lot. Even the ventrivian at 3k is hardly enough to cover the cost of a new bicycle.
    Most decent bicycles come in easily at around 7-20k and they sell by the truckloads.
    Most ppl will easily max it when using it as to squat. As a new gym user looking to lift to build strength in the off season, I’m already hitting 80kg on my squat in the 3rd gym session of my entire life. This is a no go for that reason; it’s too light.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +2

      The resistance the machine provides is different than a standard free weight. The main reason is you can't use momentum to help move the weight through space. As someone who can max squat this machine, doing it for 10 reps is still very hard.
      No, the average person will not be able to max this machine. Maybe if you are genetically already very strong, but the average person will be far from maxing any of the major lifts (even the deadlift).
      As an example, I can bench press 185 for 10 reps pretty easily (my max is 250) with free weights. However, I did 165 today on the Gym Monster and struggled on reps 8-10. That alone tells me the fatigue generated by this resistance is quite a bit more, even with "less" resistance.
      Powerlifters and competitors may not find this helpful as they should be training with the equipment they are using for proper skill acquisition, but for the average person 220 is enough.
      With that said, I'd love to see a 300+ version release for those who can lift more than 220.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +1

      Completely agree. I am in my 30s so people might be closer to it, but I still don't think the vast majority of people need a Speediance unless they want a way to get a decent amount of resistance (compared to dumbbells and bands) while making things as easy to use as possible. You can still get awesome results without one and saving a ton of money.

    the problem with this channel is that many equipment he has, is sent for free, like speediance and other stuff which is very expensive for the regular joe, especially considering this is a channel for apartment training, so these product don't go in line with the the reason people follow you, like bruh $2700 for this and is not heavy resistance, that's not good enough to maximize gains for men, maybe it works for women, for half the price you could've just bought a 200lb stack cable tower (bells of steel comes to mind) or something and it will probably occupy less space

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +1

      No, the speediance will take up a lot less space. I would have to put a tower in my garage which I will not do as it will be freezing in the winter.
      Also, the 220lbs is a lot harder than using standard free weights as you can't rely on momentum to move the weight through space. It is expensive as mentioned in the video (every review) and someone may also enjoy this as many have reached out to me who are interested and follow this channel. As I built my body mostly on bodyweight, resistance bands, and dumbbells for years (mostly just 50lbs dumbbells), this is more than enough for the average Joe to get stronger and have a great, strong, and healthy body. You just need to learn how to properly recruit and fatigue the target muscle.
      If you are looking to be a powerlifter, then there would be an issue as you need to practice the movements with the weights you will compete with. I think the Speediance is excellent for those on my channel, but I agree the cost is the #1 thing that will push someone in another direction, which is perfectly fine.

      My biggest issue is the ridiculous "membership fee" nonsense. No way!!! I'm tired of subscription based products. I'm trying to cut that garbage out of my life so adding yet another fee just for the privilege of using a product that I already paid a ridiculous amount of money on is,.....well....just stupid. Of course other opinions will vary.

      @@GamerBody is not really an equivalent 220lbs plates though which explains why you have maxed out almost all the lifts with the monster lol the point is the PRICE not the space. Now the monster is even more expensive than before $3049 as we speak, that's a lot for someone who is just training in an apartment which what this channel is about otherwise we'd have a rack. People follow this channel cause they dont have the space or money for a rack and other expensive equipment as in an actual garage home gym. You think someone living in an apartment is going to spend $3050 on a that machine that eventually may require a membership? at that point just go to a public gym, yeah you can build some muscle with basic stuff but your channel has become an advertisement for speediance at this point, the last 6 or 7 videos have been about speediance monster, pal, buddy, etc etc lol

    • @MegaCosmoVision
      @MegaCosmoVision Год назад

      @@GamerBody also if you're already maxing out all the lifts just like that, it means many men could also max them out, which at point you will face a wall, then your $3050 goes down the drain, is no longer a challenge, how long can you do more and more reps? eventually it will no longer be a challenge or stimulation, as apparently the 220lbs resistance is not equivalent to a 220lb plates. Also, there is no option to add more weight in the future, you're stuck with that resistance. Maybe if the resistance was 500lbs, but for most guys you will quickly max out just like you did, so is it really worth $3050? if you have money to throw away and use the machine as complementary work, warm ups, etc eventually it won't be enough to cause hypertrophy.
