- This is my folding spoon mule. I have never made one before, so here is my result based on looking at quite a few online. Really looking forward to using this as part of my spoon making process.
I used pine for this, but if ever I make another I might use more durable wood, not that durability should be an issue as I can store it easily taking just a few minutes!

Very nice! One of the best I've seen. I don't have a spoon mule so my advice may be suspect but, some small pieces of suede leather on the clamping surfaces would give better grip with the same pressure.

@@spoonguy6936 I was making a joke. Some people refer to eating hallucinogenic mushrooms as "doing mushrooms," which is the phrase you used.
Looks like it might fold when you sit on it.
The legs are outward when set up.. If you observe closely there are stopper blocks on front and rear leags (5.25)
@@spoonguy6936 The stopper blocks will act as fulcrums for the force exerted by the legs acting as levers -- leading to a tendency to split the leg along the grain at the top where the bolt goes through. (But I hope it doesn´t).
