  • Time for a green woodworking project in the woods! In this episode I make a white oak spatula from scratch using a pair of woodland vices: the shave horse and the spoon mule. Might need to sharpen the drawknife after this one...

Love your RUclips video! I’m fairly new to woodworking and want to make handled spoons and bowls. How much would you charge to make a spoon mule and shave horse like the one you use on the video? I would be very interested if you’re willing to make these for me. Thank you. Gary

Check out kharkiv forge on etsy. Best tools hands down I've ever bought. Built to last my future grandkids lives. I've purchased 7 tools so far all for carving and saving for more. Hope you read this thanks for your service from a vet in his shop to a vet in the woods.

Drawknife is Timber Tuff TMB-08DS "Straight Draw Shave Tool". Put a good edge on it and it gets the job done.
