"All I want is the Kitty camera..." So who wants a Hello Kitty limited edition Lumix S9? Drop a comment below! If we get enough response, I'll forward this to Lumix! 😁😺 The first half of the video (Hard Off, 2nd base) were mostly shot on the Panasonic Lumix S9 and some additional shots from my Insta360 Go3. The second half of the video (Yodobashi) were mostly shot on Insta360 Go3 with some video clips from Piotr’s Insta360 x4.
Very nice Hello Kitty limited edition Lumix S9~ But I want is an S9 with a hot shoe and a metal top cover without a chin. And a silver 18-40 35 1.4 biscuit~ (Or 30 1.7 same M43 15 1.7)
@@TheRealRichardWong The conversion is 30 3.4, but referring to the Leica 35 1.4 first generation, the Voigtlander 35 1.4 L mount is very easy to make. The specific parameters don't matter, just need the appearance of 15 1.7 and a smaller size Maybe the 30 F2 is good. It has a similar appearance to the 15 1.7. It would be best if there is a silver version. At least they are both metal L-mount.
@@ROOOMC yes I would love to see something like the 35 1.4 we talked about in this exact video. The problem is if you want to make it autofocus then the size would have to be a bit bigger, and it's also not a sharp lens. However I don't really mind if it's not that sharp. I just love compact fast prime lens even if image quality isn't quite perfect.
Happy memories Richard, thanks for sharing! I'm just making a video about that Nikkor 50mm f1.4 I bought as we speak! PS - LOVE the S9 Hello Kitty edition!
Thanks Gordon! It was super fun camera shopping with you and Piotr! Hope you enjoyed your 100 yen LaserDisc and looking forward to your old school Nikkor reviews!
thanks Ben! I did shoot a lot of footage, but didn't really too many interesting things for rest of the trip. After that evening we went out and shot some of the GH7 product launch video and then were mostly stuck in hotel working on the S9 review :/
You want to see me chasing sheeps? LOL I will be visiting Japan later this year with the family. Maybe can shoot some more vlog with the S9. That's the camera i'm planning to bring. Either that or the A7CR.
Haha so you saw that hello kitty thumbnail and another one? RUclips has a new feature for creators to upload up to 3 thumbnails and see which one works the best. This is the first time I try this feature. So I am really curious to see which thumbnail you guys like the most.
@@boredcat7 Just checking my result, it seems the thumbnail with Gordon & Piotr's face won the comparison. This thumbnail brings more watch time than the other two thumbnails. (one is my face, one is hello kitty)
I have just sold my last Nikon cameras, F3, FM and FE, the Nikon F3 is not as good as the Canon New F-1 ! Nikon F2 is very good, but the best is Canon New F-1 ! Nikon/Nikkor Lenses from the 1970´s and the 1980´s is too much up and down in quality, some are really good, but some are bad, Canon FN and FDn Lenses are much better overall.
Yes, older people like me know that the optical image quality of old Lenses is not as good as new Lenses, also we do not want to use film with polluting chemicals.
It is a tool to be sure, but if you don't like how it looks or feels, you won't have the same emotional attachment to it, and for me, I'd only then use it to do a job, rather than using it for pleasure too. I have several cameras that fall into one or the other category. Some are great at a job but I don't particularly enjoy using them. For many people, a camera is as much an accessory as a tool, even more so in some cases. I'm inspired to use some simply from their looks rather than their actual results. I realise you don't fall into that camp from your comment, but be aware that others do.
@@cameralabs I have had many different Cameras through 45 years, for me it is all about how the Cameras handle and work, I am not a "Gucci" guy, I do not care about how the Camera looks as long as it works and handles as good as possible, but sometimes good handling and good look of a Camera comes together, like when Victor Hasselblad made Cameras ! For him the handling and operations of the Camera had highest priority !

@@ROOOMC For the size of the len to small, it probably can't be 30 1.7.. maybe 30 2.8mm or 3.4?

Can’t wait to see the review! 🎥🔥
By far the most fun video from the vloggers-lumix-trip 😊
haha thank you!! Glad you enjoy this video :)
Nice Vlog Richard!! Loved the FPV perspective too! More vlogs to come??

@@TheRealRichardWong I get you! But perhaps more vlogs in NZ (or next travel adventure)

@@TheRealRichardWong Hahah Yes! Man vs Sheep... I feel I may buy an S9 when Im in Japan! (hello Kitty version obvs)
I’ve never seen Gordon so excited!! Like being in a sweet shop 😊
haha you describing it perfectly!
I found my reaction interesting too - it's part nostalgia for sure, but I do love how these things look and feel.
First 🇯🇵🍣📸 I need that limited edition S9!! 🤣
hahaha yeah @lumix please make it happen!
Fun video, Richard! Nice stuff.
Thanks Shane!! Let's go shopping or shoot photos when we have a chance next time! Maybe when I visit Aussie next time :D
all those classic cameras - so good! agree with Gordon on X-T line, Fuji really nailed it. so tempted to switch back as well haha
haha the XT5 looks especially nice when Gordon holds it. Makes me starting to regret I bought the XH2 instead!!
Yeah, the X-T5 is such a nice camera to look at - and use of course!
A love of photography and cameras unites people!
Edit: ESPECIALLY a Hello Kitty camera!!
Thanks for the NZD currency conversions
haha yeah thought it's easier for my kiwi friends who watch this :)
Camera heaven!
Yes!!
Lot of things are sold out 😭
Oh do you mean at 2nd base?
nippon kogaku nikkor-t 10.5cm f/4 could be a good deal if is less than US $200
that nikoon 45mm got my attantion🧐
yeah it's a tiny lens! Gordon will be doing a review of that lens on his main channel so remember to subscribe to his channel if you haven't already!
@@TheRealRichardWong ok gonna sub!
@@TheRealRichardWong I am gonna grab the lens on eBay before he do it lol
LOL clever man!
FYI it is the Nikon GN Auto NIKKOR 45mm f/2.8.
What makes it unique is that it focusses in the standard direction (opposite to usual Nikon).
The thumbnail with the hello kitty was better 😅

Don't shop with Gordon, you will burn a hole in your wallet 😂
haha well here is the wallet casualty after the evening:
Gordon: 43765 Yen
Piotr: 26600 Yen
Richard: 0 Yen
You are immune to impulsive buying sprees 😅
@@kmwong1786 haha I wish I'm. I just spent $100 USD buying some completely useless thing from eBay.
I think mine suffered the most damage that night!

Yes, older people like me know that the optical image quality of old Lenses is not as good as new Lenses, also we do not want to use film with polluting chemicals.
It is not about how the camera looks, it is about how the photo images look, a Camera is just a working tool.
