@@jacobmems123 I wasn't really "upset" by any of the DLC characters, just disappointed that my number one pick (though I knew from the start that they were a long-shot to begin with) didn't make it in. My number one pick would have been KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga trilogy (which honestly deserves a modern remake/remaster, as the trilogy is fantastic, even if it's long and heavy on the cutscenes). But I was still more than satisfied that we got the likes of Joker, Sephiroth, & Pyra/Mythra (the others I was indifferent towards at worst). The only character I was a bit confused/annoyed by was Pirahna Plant, but even that was something I just shrugged off since I had already pre-ordered the game by the time Pirahna Plant had been announced, so I would have gotten it for free anyway. Terry & Kazuya I didn't really care about as I wasn't particularly familiar with them (I knew _of_ Kazuya very vaguely, but that was it), and Steve I simply didn't care about one way or the other as I don't play Minecraft (I played it years ago on XBOX 360, but even then that was only for a few months or so before I lost interest and never went back).

I literally had the same thought like Faye on Pythra, saw them and instantly wanted to main them. Now they're one of the best overall and I just feel bad for picking them..

I really can’t believe people weren’t expecting the last dlc to be sora, ESPECIALLY after that direct days earlier that was all square enix and random Disney games. It was kinda disappointing getting spoiled by a direct like that.

Bittersweet is exactly the feeling. It's mildly heartbreaking to think that Sakurai is done with the games and it's the end of an era. I no longer have faith in nintendo's greed to bring me the games I want, so I'm just sad with the end of smash.
