It’s now or never. Assuming the second gen will run for another 7 years or so, I think this will be the last generation of affordable, fun, internal combustion powered, and lightweight sports car with stick shift in mankind history.

Why are you advertising this as a track car and then deny warranty when the engine blows up on track? No one should be buying this car if you care about losing money or filing a lawsuit!

People asking for a turbo for this car do not understand the spirit of the car that inspired it.

also 90% of them that want more power never plan on buying or even test driving this car. not only that the car MSRP would be well above 30k. and to everyone who says i cant buy one cause dealer markups well i have purchased 2 so far this year alone with 0 markup. you just need to take your time and maybe look at a few states near. mainly states that get alot of snow are having harder times selling a RWD sports car.

I have a beautiful dark red base model 1991 Toyota corolla with 450 thousand miles on it! it has the 5 speed manual. I also own a 97 corolla 5 speed manual that has 300k miles. I also have a 2002 Tacoma with 270k miles on it. NONE of my Toyotas have ever given me an issue. Toyota is my vehicle of choice forever.

They are fabricating those graphs, real world dyno shows torque drop is still there in the 3k range.

Im super fortunate Own 2015 scion FRS AKA Toyota GT86 which I prefer saying. Toyota GT86 is superb car even if it has it past flaws , I still enjoy that car everyday, Yes it manual, no dumb auto on this . I plan to also buy this Gr86 next. People should be lucky Toyota continues this car with Genuine RWD Naturally aspirated High compression Dynamite of Boxer engine sport car ! This IS A GEM! BUY IT WHILE IT LAST! PLEASE get Toyota/Subaru to release a Corrective Action on the RTV silicone clogging up the oil pickup tube strainer. There is way too much RTV silicone being applied from the factory and pieces are breaking off and clogging up the oil pickup tube strainer enough to damage engines. PLEASE get Toyota/Subaru corporate to fix this issue and use simple gaskets!!

This is a Subaru BRZ w Toyota d4s fuel injection. Why toyota uses BMW and Subaru platforms is stupid. The GR86 is all Subaru BRZ... Toyota take the 2.5 i4 w 8 spd Trans and bring back a RWD Celica... w 240 NA engine. The BRZ is one of the fastest track cars you can buy due to its balance and weight. It's almost as fast as a 911 Carrera it's like 5 seconds slower. The 911 stock is 427hp
Should have used Yamaha engineering vs just slapping in a Subaru engine. We Toyota owners care about powertrains alot.

I test drive automatic. It looks great in person. Engine is too loud. Power should be at least 275 horses. its not a Porsche as some said.
I am Glad toyota Made the GR corolla and Yaris. I still think you need to bring the GR Yaris here, there is massive demand for that car too. It is too bad the 86 and Supra were not built by Toyota strictly. Toyota should be building their owns sports car with their own transmission and their own Engines, not these Collaborations that give your heritage away. The Mustang is top selling Sports car worldwide and Ford has made it work. See the Corvette c8 is selling like hot cakes, toyota should have built the supra alone to fight the Nissan GTR. Toyota you had 20 year to stay innovative in building your own sport cars. I think you should stop with the collaborations and build your owns sports cars from now on. !!! Subaru has the WRX and sti, they didnt need the BRZ!! You need to build a plant like Acura, strictly for sports cars so you dont need to outsource for this. YOu need to take pride and keep your heritage and advance your engineers by Building your owns cars in your own factory!!. Chevy did an amazing job with the Corvette, it is supercar. The supra should have been this.
