I'm after first night with clear skies after buing Seestar S50 and I managed to capture couple of objects from this selection :-) Results are less spectacular and I limited my exposures to 5 minutes to cover more objects, but I am pleasently surprised that much cheaper device and only with built in stacking returned something half-comparable. Clear skies and all the best!
Hi how s going with vespera? I would like to buy it but I do not know if wait for the pro version but it cost 1000€ more than standard version. Did u user some filter? Thanks
Hi , I love the Vespera, it really is an excellent scope and achieves everything they say in their promotions. I'll probably buty the pro next year purely for the higher resolution although I am tempted to buy a Stellina......No filters were used in the majority of the images. In recent weeks Ive started to use a light pollution filter.
@@johnrshort I just bought a vespera second hand. Bout the hydrogrometer and both dual and city pollution filters. You notice a difference in using the light pollution filter?
Can you characterize the typical sky for these pictures - countryside or suburban, and so forth? How much are these images enhanced by post-processing, do any images come straight out of the Vespera?
Hi, I live in whitburn between the city of Sunderland and South Shields. Officially my sky if Bortle 6/7 but o would say nearer 5/6. Yes I post process using Pixinsight and Photoshop. Most of the images are exposures gathered over a long period and stacked.
I’m patiently waiting for the arrival of my vespira!! So excited. Are you transferring these to your computer and editing them yourself? If so what program are you using?
I use the Vespera the most, it’s the quickest and easiest to set up. About 70% of the time I have them both imaging at the same time. For large targets the Vespera is unbeatable but for single galaxies the EVscope gives larger images images .
Wow, great images. And such a wide variety. What software do you use to process? I’m a beginner looking to have a fun way to experience astronomy with my family. Did you ever find yourself limited on targets?
amazing images! im gonna be getting a vespera II soon and i would love to know how you process your images
So gorgeous - thanks so much! You just sold my wife and I on the Vespera! You are quite talented.
Thank you, that’s very kind of you to say. Hope you enjoy your Vespera as much as I do.
Very nice!
Very nice images, welll done 😃
Thank you Appreciated
are you excited about the Vespera Pro?
It’s an exciting prospect but I’ve three smart scopes so won’t be investing immediately.

Thank you, that’s very kind of you. I use Pixinsight, APP and Photoshop Gavin
Extraordinario trabajo. ¿Qué programa usas para procesar las imágenes?

These look awesome, did you see any concerns with the amount of storage offered as I believe it’s 25GB?
I e never had any problems with storage
How many hours did you get of the rosette nebula? And did you use any filters?
2 hrs exposure and I don't use filters other than the CLS filter ( light pollution )

Yes I process the images myself using Pixinsight and Photoshop.

Hi, I use Pixinsight and Photoshop but these are both expensive. Start with something like SIRIL which is free
Oh and been using smart scope for two years certainly not found any limits so far 🙂
I always say it but my god your images are amazing. I have never asked you john, but what software do you use to edit?. Cheers Gavin.
I have just noticed another video that says pixinsight. Is this still what you use?.
