100% noob here . Currently building my first rig about a decade and a half late . I`m looking to scale up over time like most of you did . I`m not looking to be rich , just cover the bills and allow me to put my effort towards other things to generate more income .
Hi, pps vs solo? the pps seems so low! by calculator i should hit 1.2 solutions per day (now i have 2 days in, 2 solutions) but when i tried with pps, i had like 0.2 solutions per day (20 shares)...Did you do any comparison pps vs solo?
No I have not done a direct comparison, I think both have there merits though. For example I have 2 x 3070 rigs. So far this epoch one has hit 4 Sol's and the other zero, so if zi was just using that 1 single rig on pps, it would have earned more so far.
I looked into them. They have a slightly lower $/pkwh rate but their solar feed in rate works out to about half. I'd have to do the maths and work out what works out cheaper.
I tried qbminer with my GPUs, but it doesn't show the hashrate. I updated hiveos, nvidia driver to the latest version but it still didn't show the hashrate. Did you get any issue like this in your setup?
Nah its pretty dog shit mining in general. Then we have most youtubers crying about profit is bad but still buying gear in large scale like RPM 😂and so on since the ETH days nothing has going great
My farm has been profitable the whole time, obviously nothing compared to eth days but there's money to be made. It is a lot of effort though so I get your sentiment.
I just couldn't stand the epoch changes every week. The rigs would go down and require annoying changes to the flight sheet, not to mention the random arbitrary amounts i would get paid out. I dont trust it very much
@@BearMarketMiner I switched to verus about 2 months ago. Qubic had just been going down and down (approx epoch 105 era). I'm glad I did because verus doubled recently, but now rewards are shit, so I may hop back on qubic. I've got 40 gpus and 23 ryzen 9 cpus... I wonder how that would go now?
Sounds like a good-sized farm. If you saw in the video, I went through my setup and what I'm using, plus the pepfitability, so that should give you an idea of what to expect in returns.

I would assume so, there is no reason that I know of that you couldn't keep mining qubic into the future

No I don't think so,
My GPU Mining rigs have cheap and slow ram in them and it makes no difference, possible it will be affected for CPU mining

You need to also use hiveOS Beta, I had issues until I did this.

The idol period is simply when its not mining. It mines for 1 hour, then idles for one hour
Do u know that web show u profit is delay, Aleo real profit is 2.5x more.
Yeah there is generally a delay. Even at 2.5x more profit, still not as profitable as Qubic :)

That is fair enough. There are no random changes to the flight sheets these days. It's been smooth sailing for me since I got back to mining.
