I can totally see the Right Bank Bdx guesses for Carmenere but not Nebbiolo. Living in Chile, I always tell people Carmenere is like an herbaceous Merlot, and Cabernet Franc is very similar to Carmenere with the pyrazines, so a right bank Bdx with Merlot and Cabernet Franc completely makes sense, especially from a cooler spot like the Maule Valley.
Thanks Winealign and great thanks for all the wine experts who are incredibly humble funny and enlightening giving a lot for wine...I have been watching from the first episode and going on. Very Good Job Guys!!! A well made delicate finesse wine assessments 😊🥂 a little recommendation from Türkiye; Emir, Narince, Kalecikkarasi, Patkara, Acikara, Papaskarasi, Calkarasi, Öküzgözü, Bogazkere grapes and many more!!! Ops I wrote too much sorry 😄🥂
Love the show, their analysis are fascinating, and I do learn a lot from the way they deduct to the conclusion. And agree that it would be better if they are write their conclusion first, it would be fair for everyone, so that they won't be influenced by others. But anyway, it is a great great professional program. And can't wait the see the other Szabo
Bordeaux and Merlot are closer to Carmenère than Nebbiolo... the Nebbiolo answer is really surprising! About the price, it's not surprising since San Pedro creates wine that could be 20-30$ more expensive.
Halleluiah. It is back. New format, makes sense, Im digging it. New Hostess... already a fan. I suspect there will be no host complaints this season. *For the record, I had love for all of them. Is there a schedule of future events? So stoked to see this up and running again. Get em Szabo!
People from WineAlign, this is a truly great show but it would be a MASSIVE improvement if you didn't reveal the names of the wines till the end. That way we could all play from home.
I love this channel, but I feel they follow the first person all too often. Sometimes they all get it right, others all wrong, and I think the first responder all too often dictates the pattern. IMO, they should be made to write their answers down. Commit BEFORE hearing the others, then discuss one at a time sticking to your original thoughts. That is how you keep it pure. Just my 2 cents....
Szabo, the boss. Great to see the GOAT of the wine game return.
I love this format. So happy to see new episodes👍
It is great to see you back, guys! The new host is a nice surprise, too!
You guys are back! Can't wait for more.
Finally!!!!! Three years in the making but worth it ... Szabo up to his usual standard but everyone looking great ❤️👍

Hey hey! Some familiar faces! Carmenere is a tough one to taste blind, as seen by all the judges.

I love this show! Looking forward to more episodes.
This show is so good even during COVID!
These are so fun to watch, keep it up! I'll for sure buy a bottle to drink along with next time.
Yayyy the show came back last year

It was cool to see their own wine glasses as they’re at home. Lots of different styles and types. Interesting.
Next, interesting episode and good to see them again. But why they follow the impression of John?
Just on colour and clarity in the glass, I’m not sure how Michael arrived at his guess for wine #2...
Great you're back!!
Finally, you are back :)!!
Welcome back!

You are back!!!! 🤩
Feel like they should write their guesses down and then have to read them back so there’s no influencing?

If this would be a serious competition then yes, but it's more entertaining this way.
YAAAAAAAA LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Been waiting for this for so long. Please do more. And yes, the new host is nice and cute. But Szabo is cuter. In a manly way.
Aren't these guys supposed to be experts? Missing an Amarone and making a Bordeaux out of a Chilean Camenere....
I mean, Carmenere is a bordeaux grape...
great to see this continuing, but new host is annoying. personally, niazi and chatto were the best.
