I am one of the new sellers that's going live Sunday, and I am so nervous, and excited, but I am thrilled that I get to do this. My fianace and I have a Vintage Thrift shop for almost three years. It was my dream, and am so glad I took the chance. Unfortunately, the rent on the brick and mortar is going up, and it's too much to make a profit. So, I'm having to go to a different direction. Some tips for better sleep, reduce or eliminate caffeine ( I know this is painful!) , Practice relaxation by deep breathing and self massage. Get your mind out of the gutter! I mean head and neck. If mark helps that is a plus. Have a night time routine. If Mark snores go to the guest room. I do visuals of closing doors on intrusive thoughts. I also write books in my head or I do imaginary trips to the beach or a garden. It helps.. Sometimes I get in a jag of insomnia when things upset me. I am human and make mistakes. My family loves me and that is the greatest thing we can have in our life. Hugs I hope you can get some snoozes tonight.

So I'm not the only one with ichthyophobia (fear of fish) and deep water! I think I was a sailor in a past life whose ship went down and I was eaten by a shark. LOL I love water but don't like deep water or fish (except to eat them).
I do like watching vintage sellers go "picking" because I am housebound and can't go thrifting, antiquing, or fleamarketing anymore (which I LOVED to do) so I kind of live through you guys. But I enjoy your videos even when you don't go shopping. Glad to hear that Collin is on the mend and his ankle isn't broken. Praying for his speedy recovery!

My life is kind of isolated at the moment. I am being a carer to my 3 teenage daughters with various medical conditions. I don't get to see my friends much. Your videos give me respite in my days and I feel part of a happy little community here even though I'm on the other side of the world in Australia. I learn about recognising different things like makers marks, condition and see things I wouldn't see here. I get inspired to change the way I display my special things and generally enjoy watching your videos. I wish you some good restful sleep. It's hard to keep up when sleep is in short supply. ❤

Hi Misty. I'm going to share your video with a young client of mine who was experiencing the feelings you shared, but he thinks he's alone because he's a teen. I think the "boring" stuff you are doing is profound because you are what we in psychology refer to as "co-regulating" and "holding space" for people. I'm a busy person with too much to do, but something about your personality, warmth, and outlook are comforting, so being there is really all you need to do and I'm guessing people will keep showing up.
