One of the most original looking track layouts i've ever seen. awesome.
Let me tell you something about this ride- this is one of the most violent rollercoasters I have been on. Every bit is rough and shakes you up.
Beat memories from my childhood that
Thanks for the insight because I thought it would be a fun coaster if it wasn't bumpy
I miss Bullet so much! Was a great coaster to have in the UK (When it wasn't broken) :)
Not a very exciting coaster from the looks of it, but the simple design here is genius. It's kind of awesome really.
Childhood memories loved it
It was very exciting! Loved the coaster and still miss it a lot.
It was a great coaster much more intense than it looks on video. The twisted track in the station is crazy
I rode this with my Dad at Circus World when it was called "Weiner Looping"... It was incredibly uncomfotable. When we rode it the seats had BOTH a click down over the knee restraint (like the Scorpion at Busch Gardens) plus shoulder belts like out of a race car. The ride attendants said only the knee restraint was necessary, but me being a scared kid I insisted on wearing the shoulder belts too (MISTAKE) they tore into me. So I got off the ride with both back and chest pain.
Just stumbled across this video. This used to be my favourite ride at flamingo land! I'd forgotten how large and formidable this coaster is. It was pretty insane! I also worked as a chef at flamingo land a couple of years ago and they really haven't got anything that good these days.
Dont worry, they will get an intamin 10 inversion coaster
I know this comment is 9 years old but it used to be my favourite as well.
This was such a fun ride! I loved the feeling when you went over the loop backwards, with the natural instinct to duck your head thinking it was going to hit something which you didn't have when you went forwards, haha. Is there anything similar to this ride these days? I'd love it if this was still around - it did have a tendency to break down when it got to the end, though - you'd always see the people in the back two rows stuck there for ages at that awkward angle.
Wow it's not there anymore I could tell u this cause I go there every weekend dam I wish it was still there
Stephen Horton this ride is in Mexico now so atleast it still lives on
My dad used to love this ride. I was too young when it was operating but have so many memories watching my dad on this ride before he passed away 💔
I've always thought this thing looked amazing.
This was in my recommended section and I have forgotten about this cool little roller coaster. What’s in its place now in 2024.
This brings back memories man!!
If I recall correctly, when this was at circus world, it was not there very long, and it was very violent on your back. The seating was very uncomfortable, and the ride extremely intense. It goes up the forward and revers hill much higher than shown here...at least at circus world it did. Got off it and was in royal back pain, but it was so fun.
It's so cool how it goes under the station and how the station goes through the loop, I did that all the time in roller coaster tycoon as a kid
So, it's basically a launched Boomerang?
VestedUTuber no, its really not
+Louis Evans
Well, the layout's similar, and I've heard it's rough as hell.
VestedUTuber have you been on a vekoma boomerang? The only thing these have in common is the reverse launch/incline and the towers
+Louis Evans
I HAVE been on a Boomerang - there's one at my home park.
The only thing The Bullet lacks is a cobra roll. It's the same overall concept and they're both rough.
VestedUTuber theyre the same concept to an extent, but not a launched boomerang
What fab memories, our 3 lads were too young to go on so my hubby looked after them while I had a few ride, it was so much fun 🤩
This ride was my favourite growing up, Such a great rollercoaster.
Shame Flamingo Land have never replaced it with something as good.
Robert Long the Kumali is up there with it imho
You travel around the world to ride roller coasters?
BEST...JOB...EVER!
this is one of the craziest and weardest rollercoasters I ever saw. Who had ever thought about an idea like this. Fantastic!
@magebrin That one is actually very, VERY different... Yes, it goes forwards and backwards, but it's NOTHING like The Bullet!
I rode one of these when I was like 12 at Circus World in Florida. It is one of the craziest rides... It comfortably slings you around pretty violently.
im glad i had the oppurtunity to ride this great coaster. it was alot of fun. I belive i was 12 at the time and my mom took me to circus world in florida and they had it there at the time along with the zoomerang and the florida hurricane
This was originally installed in a theme park in Orlando, Florida, known as Circus World. This ride debuted in the 1980's I believe at Circus World. It was not there very long, because it was extremely violent on the back. First time I rode it, I got off shaking. It was totally unique for the time, and if you sit in the back seat, you literally go almost straight up, and it used to go even higher up the reverse vertical lift at the very beginning, higher than what you see here. That was the best part. It was originally called The a Weiner Looping. It doesn't look it, but it is killer and travels very fast!
Weiner Looping?? Sounds like a sex move LOLOLOL XD
pocodfe Once was enough when I rode it at Circus World ......spent the rest of the time riding CW's wooden coaster........Weiner Looper was 1 bad ass coaster
Mike Wachowiak It sure was bad ass! I think it was the first "extreme" coaster in Florida, and perhaps in the country. It was so rough, but just gave you a rush.
I think it was in Vienna before Circus World. It didn't last long.
I can't believe I found this! I live in Orlando, and the info at the beginning is correct. It was installed at circus world (a park closed for many years now), and my sisters and I went in this. It was weird because when you get in, a lot of the seats are titling with the track, so you sit there forced to lean heavily one way. When it first starts, it went much hug here than what you see here,
I used to adore this ride (and Magnum Force too, before it got old and shaky). They were the pride of Flamingoland, and I was sorry to see them go :(
I would rather ride this again than Kumali.
This and Magnum Force were 2 great rides. The park wanted to lose it's fairground image, so a lot of changes were made, and unfortunatley they had to go. At least Magnum is enjoying a new lease of life in Mexico.
Can’t wait until you come back to the UK Robb. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
It's an early Boomerang layout; modern incarnations have a double raven turn then a teardrop loop and then repeated in reverse. Weiner Looping has to be the worst name for a ride ever devised; however I would love to ride a coaster named The Dominatrix with studded leather restraints.
"wiener looping" made me think of bad thoughts
Are you amarican this is a British ride that's why
rachel brogden, Well actually it was a German built ride that was made for Wiener Prater in Vienna Austria where it was under the name "Wiener Looping"( which means "Vienna Looping"), then it moved to Boardwalk & Baseball in Haines City, Florida still under the Wiener Looping name... it operated there until Boardwalk and Baseball closed in 1990. A year later, Flamingo Land purchased the coaster and renamed it the Bullet, it operated there from 1991 to 2006 and it remained in storage until 2012 when Selva Màgica in Mexico City, México bought the ride and still operates there today.
Tom L holy he just gon one thing wrong no need to write a hole paragraph
Tony Lopez
that is an amazing shuttle loop coaster.
I never got chance to go on this. I was too young back then and when I finally was able to it had been removed from the park ):
Cant believe I live less than an hour away from Flamingo Land and I didn't ride this, looks amazing!
My first rollercoaster! That vertical loop pulled some INSANE Gs!
They actually need to bring this back to Flamingo Land! I'd definitely go on it! It looks awesome!
i remember seeing this in 1992, i was 12 then, and at that age this coaster looked much bigger than this.it was only open a year when i went and the Q was 2 hours long...kinda glad i didnt wait in line for it.
Rode it about 7 or 8 times when i was younger thankfully a great experience back when you werent even allowed phones on coasters
Loved this ride as a kid it was so fast and think it was the first real intense coaster I had been on where I had felt proper G's. The corkscrew and thunder Mountain were the only other coasters there at the time so when this opened for 2 to 3 hours a day everyone used to rush over there to get in line haha good times.
They have the exact same ones in two parks in Belgium, Walibi (2001) & Bellewaerde Park (1984), the model reference is Boomerang due to the return trip it takes and the one in Bellewaerde Park was the first in the world to have one.
no.
miss this
this rollercoaster is in assembly for a park in Guadalajara, mexico
That is one well travelled coaster! RIP Circus World.
I love this ride
That crazy Anton!
loved this ride as a youth. went on it regularly, until the shoulder harness came loose mid way through the first loop. imagine my surprise when they let people on right after me, even after i reported it came loose
This happened to me too buddy. Was only young at the time and just over the line to ride.
Absolutely kacked my panties 😂
Stupid restraint design looking back at it.
It was built in 1982, but moved to Flamingo Land in 1991...
wow this ride was awesome an magnum force was another fave of mine i gotta build bullet on RCT3 lol
wow, when this awesome looking ride closed, I was born -_-
This reminds me of a smaller scale version of Boomerang at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I love that coaster.
The new home of The Bullet: Selva Mágica (Mexico)
Rode this back in the day and I've got to say it was one of the most uncomfortable Coaster I've been on.
I can't believe they got rid of this.
I remember when this was still in flamingo land when I was very little. I never could go on it, I'm surprised I remember seeing it after watching this video to be fair, I was scared of it (Despite I couldn't go on it anyway, I was a midget when I was younger.) - Because, obviously, it looked old. xD
Were any more of these built? This is the only one I have seen like this.
i love schwartzkopf roller caosters
That was.... unique.
The design is just out of control...very nice use of space.
I miss old Flamingo Land.
this was my favorite ride, cant imagine why its been closed
And so we witness the genesis of the boomerang coaster...
mr. zwartskopff was probably insane, but an awesome coaster designer.
I miss this ride =[
@Supermariokingify You just replied yourself?! 0.o
I think this ride is awesome, I would ride it again and again if its reopened. (:
id like to see a park or place in one dedicated to his designs
Nothing will beat Schwartzkopfs, the only coaster by vekoma i don't have a problem with is the Corkscrew from alton towers and fl.
All hail Lord Anton!!!
Is it true this coaster will be built in Guadalajara, Mexico?
Why would they close that roller coaster down in 2005, when it was only 14 years old?
actually i think the guy who owns this account is also a video game designer
Should never have left the UK, especially after learning what happened with the Magnum Force last week!
I wanted to go on this every time I was at flamingo land but by the time I was tall enough it was out of service and eventually removed :(
I rode this in the 80s at Circus World. After riding it twice we were ready to go home from all the shaking and G-forces. I can’t explain why we rode it a second time.
I always wanted to ride this! :( Never had my chance i did Millennium Force though
"weeeeee"!lol, i love those people!Lol
And then the ride was relocated to a park in Mexico with same name and color
i never even got a chance to go on this :( too bad it got taken down /:
@izzywizzy2310 Its in storage at Vekoma, Kumali occupies the space
really wish Knoebel's would have bought this and stuck it in Whirlwind's old spot...
Just rode it at selva magica mexico it’s fire 🔥
These guys are on countless RUclips clips. All they seem to do is ride Rollercoaters. I wish I could spend my life doing the same. Do any of them work?
then that means... that a lot of those rct2 coasters are problaby real coasters, but with different names and color schemes!
The fact you're having to compare them to TOGO says it all.
i LOVED THIS RIDE shame it went and the magnum force i went on the bullet 10 times in a row coz its that fun
The station is twisty!
I remember going on this one. It was fun.
+Jessica Baldwind they're made by the same company.
I can't find Looping Coaster 1.
I remember the roar!
you hate people having fun.
I rather enjoy his "wheeee"ing, personally.
Ok this reminds me of the Laser Loop at Kennywood a long time ago..
im not gunna lie all this stuff that ive been watching looks like the Jamal Deemer everything looks like it was from roller coaster tycoon
There's a simmiliar rollecoaster in prater
First time I went to flamingo land this was shut, i was totally gutted... Definitely more intense than the missile at American adventure, the station in the loop is badass also :)
Where has this gone to now
Why is the loading station track sideways?
this ride used to give me huge headaches
Isn't that at pleasure beach in cleethorpes?
WAIT A SECOND. Wasn't this ride in rct2?
if i was there, at 1:27 i'll be like " hey ppl!" lol
I have been to flamingo land before and on the 24th of May 2017 I'm going for 3 days!!!!!!
Hey it's Stingray from RCT2!!!!!
that’s not there anymore sadly
