  • In today's video we take to the sky's as we travel Upper Class with Virgin Atlantic from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to London Heathrow (LHR).
We're starting out in the airport to give you a basic overview of the check in process and then onto the Star Alliance lounge, which is a shared lounge as Virgin don't have their own at LAX. This is a great addition to have as it means you can have some food and drink and also wash up before heading onto your flight, great for the overnight red eye flights!
We're flying onboard a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787 dubbed Pin Up Girl, this particular plane uses the older 1 - 1 - 1 seat configuration.
We'll give you a full overview of our inflight experience including a tour of the seat itself and the surrounding area, the configuration of the seat and how it changes into a bed. The inflight entertainment as well as the amenities we're given with the convenience kit, this includes toothbrush, toothpaste, hand cream etc.
During the flight we give you an overview of all the food and drink we're given, we received our dinner not long after take off and then a breakfast around 1 hour before landing, this was great as we'd just woken up from our sleep in the lay flat bed! We also had everything served on china too!
Overall a great full experience with Virgin Atlantic!

    Nice video.
Did you have to go to Terminal 2 first (where virgin atlantic counters were located) then TBIT (Tom Bradely International terminal) or you directly went to TBIT and found the counters there itself?

Thanks for watching and sorry for the delayed reply. I can’t really remember the process as it was so long ago but we found the airport quite easy to navigate and everything was quite well signposted

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class is Business Class not First (1st) Class.

Thanks for pointing out, the addition of first class rather than business class was more for people searching as people tend to assume it’s first class, appreciate commenting! Thanks!
